Blackberry Connect on Samsung i320

Hi Guys,
I know that the i320 isn't an HTC device, but I have sucessfully managed to get blackberry connect up and running on my Wizard and my work is hopefully about to supply me with an i320.
I realise that it's a smartphone and not a PPC, but I believe that there is some interoperablity between the two in WM5.
So my question is, will I be able to use the BB Connect that I use on my Wizard (downloaded from the ftp site) on the i320 or does anyone know of any varients for the smartphone platform?
Cheers!
anyone?
Even a little guidancee would be good! Thanks!
If you find a solution, let us all know
We are talking about this on the S620 aka Dash SP forum as well. We know that a SP client came out for WM 2003 in South Africa on the Vodacom network, but we haven't see one since. Where oh where, if at all, is the WM5 for Smartphone BB Connect client?
Here is the original BB Connect cab file for WM 2003
It would only install on a Moto MPx220 device running WM 2003 and gave a uncertified device error when I tried it on any other device. Any programmers out there want to give it a shot and change the cab file so it does not require a particular device to install on?
This one installs. I couldn't get it to work on my MPx200 w/ 2003.

Which O2 phone uses Microsoft bluetooth stack?

Hi all, I am a newbie here and I am currently developing a software using O2 phone. I have a question about which O2 phone uses MS BT stack for its bluetooth device since I am using MS Visual C# to develop the software. Thank you very much.

1. welcome to XDA-Dev
2. to my knowledge, all of them.
i see. from what i read, it appears that some pda phones which use Windows Mobile OS may not be necessarily equipped with MS BT stack. Am I correct with the statement? As I know, the HP pda phones don't use MS BT stack. Thanks a lot
all devices makers are free to use whatever bluetooth stack they like for wm devices
3th party bluetooth stacks seems rare with wm5 and wm6 devices though

The project is given by my lecturer n she asked me to find an O2 phone which is equipped with MS Bluetooth stack. Since I am using Visual C#.net to develop the bluetooth application, my lecturer needed me to make sure that the phone has MS bluetooth stack as well.

Remote control of Mobiles

Hi all,
I have to setup a bunch of windows HTC mobile phones remotely, and talking the users thru the steps and loading the correct software is extremely frustrating and time consuming.
I do have remote access to their PC's, so ideally it would be great to just remote the PC and see their device that is attached via USB to the PC.
Does anyone know if there is some software that will allow me to remote the PDA and take control from a PC?
Thanks in advance.
my mobiler is a freeware app that does exactly that.
http://www.mymobiler.com/
if you have to install it on many mobiles you may want to just cook your own rom with the software you want already built into it.
there is a program called my mobilizer... I think. while you have control of the customers computer, have them connect the device then install the program. I use this when im setting up my phone. so much easier.
ill try to get a link soon
lman
Thanks guys, My Mobiler looks perfect going to test it now on my own device.
If you can remote to thier PCs, use the MS powertoy available for mobiles. Found here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...7aa-ab28-6a2b006edfe9&displaylang=en#filelist
CE Remote Display. Just make sure all your users with PDAs have it installed on thier PC and the PDA. Lets you "drive" the PDA while it's connected via USB (or bluetooth and wireless I think but have never used those).
Read my related Bibles / reviews at http://wiki.xda-developers.com/inde... from both the desktop and the mobile device)

WM6 -Is it possible to use a pocket pc as a bluetooth modem for another pocket pc?

I would like to use my MDA vario iii as a bluetooth modem to access the internet from my Ameo (htc Athena). Is this possible?
They are both running stock t-mobile WM6 ROMs. I knew how to do this in WM5 using Dial up networking, but have since upgraded the Ameo to WM6 and can't find a way.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

read my related articles in the Wiki on hacking BT DUN into WM5 AKU3 / WM6+
http://www.pocketpcmag.com/old_blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=2121&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1
I have intalled the WM6_BT_DUN.cab on both phones but nothing seems to have changed. I have read the article but couldn't figure out how to actually implement it. Could you let me know how to set the connection up please.

Well, then, look around for a cooked ROM that also has DUN. I'm not sure whether there are any - hopefully there is.

Blackberry Connect on X7510/Ameo 16Gb

Hello everyone. Apologies if this has been addressed before, but I was wondering if the latest version of the BB Connect client (4.0.0.106) as found on sems.org works on the Ameo 16gb/X7510? I am intending to get the Blackberry Internet Service put onto my acc but I would like to know if there are any known side effects for me installing the BB Connect client onto my Ameo and if there is a specific version of the BB Connect client I should be using instead.
I also am interested in knowing if the blackberry can work in x7510
