PC audio-output on PocketPC device (Bluetooth)

Hi All,
I am using internet telephony on my PC and I am curious whether anybody knows whether it is possible to use my MDA compact (or any other PocketPC device) as a remote phone set via bluetooth. Would be nice to walk around the PC doing a phone call through the internet.
If somebody knows, can you let me know how?
Thanks,
Lars
if you have the wifi card and use the program skype you can do ut
I don't want to use WiFi.
I would like to use a Bluetooth connection between my MDA compact and my (host) PC which has an internet connection. Basically, my MDA compact should work like a "Bluetooth headset" for my PC.
Lars
i'm not sure if the ms bluetooth stack support that profile
maybe the vidcomm does ?
Is it possible to put the Widcom stack on my MDA compact??

Bluetooth Dailup?

Hello,
Im a new owner of a HTC S710, i like the phone and i previously owned a Orange SPC C600. And im a proud owner of an Dell Axim X51v.
In the past i could go discover with my Dell Axim the bluetooth devices and see the c600 and see its bluetooth dailup service. i used that to automatically make connection with the phone and dail up when i the axim needed a connection.
But now with the S710 it only finds an accesspoint to witch it won't connect. and i really want the dailup back so it automatically connects.
How can that be done?
Greetings, Marcus

You will want to install the Widcomm BT stack on your Axim. It supports BT PAN client mode.
Also see my related articles - I've published a LOT of articles on this problem.
Hello,
I have the widcomm stack on my axim, and it worked fine with my C600 but now with the S710 the service just is not there? There is no option for a bluetooth dailup when clicking on cennect to a phone for internet.

HI!
I had a Blue Angel, I used to conect to my other phone(CDMA) via bluetooth for dialup net access(I get free Mb per month there plus its faster(EVDO). My Vox does not see the dial up service on my other phone. Is there anyway to make it find the dial up service?

Can't connect Bluetooth GPS i747

Hello,
I've the following problem. I've a MDA Pro with WM6. It's a german Maxstegi 4.7, but I tried 2 differnt ROMs from your board but my problem persists.
Bluetooth is activated and working. This I checked with a Siemens HHB-750 A2DP Audiotransmitter. Then I tried to connect my i747
http://www.transystem.com.tw/p-gps-iblue747.htm
and googlemaps, wififofum and Tomtom can't find it, regardless of every combination of settings in external GPS and Bluetooth. The funny thing is that Navigon detected the GPS on COM1: serial cable but wasn't running because of memory problems. I checked the gps mouse with my laptop and it's running fine.
My question now: Has anyone this gps running on a Universal with WM6 or does anyone know about problems with the bluetooth stack and how to correct it, or which GPS via Bluetooth works somewhere with Tomtom?
Thanks
Alsaya
I have 727 and universall and WM6.0 (but french FLA242). no problme just have to do partenership and open a com port (for tomtom and universal it's com4. uncheck secure connect
@stephane.papin
Hello Stephane, I tried com4 with and without external GPS - no success. Secure connection is unchecked. Any more suggestions, please.

I've Radio 1.17. Is Bluetooth a function of radio? Will 1.18 help?
Thanks

Treo 700wx Flashed to WM6.1 with ICS - Now how to enable it as a hotspot?

I've been reading and reading this forum but I seem to be missing some information.
I have modded my Verizon 700wx to WM6.1 and have enabled ICS. ICS is working over Bluetooth to my PC and works brilliantly. Yay Me.
Now, Can someone tell me (or point me in the right direction) how I can turn this phone into a hotspot for WiFi?
I'm thinking I need a WiFi SDIO Card? Will that get me to the next step as this phone does not have WiFi, just EVDO.
OR is there something in this phone where I can bridge the EVDO and turn the phone into a WiFi hotspot without the SDIO card?
I have WMWifiRouter installed, and but it says there are no Wifi Connectors. So I think I need a Wifi SDIO Card?
Suggestions? Thoughts?
700wx does not have a Wifi system built in ... from what you're describing, there may be something available to add on to it though.
The question that I have (and it sounds like you would be really good at helping me with) is how/where did you get ICS working on this phone? I'm trying to link my cellular internet connection to my laptop's bluetooth ...

[Q] Use Win mo phone as bluetooth modem

I've got two sim cards and i'd like to avoid switching them or dual-sim adapters. First card is my main card for sms etc so is in my galaxy s. Second one has very good data plan. My old phone on win mo (touch pro) can share internet (3g) via bluetooth or via "wifi router" (ad-hoc). Second option does not work because android doesn't see ad-hoc networks. First option works on windows computer, but it seems that androd device cant use win mo as bluetooth modem. Is there any way to use both simcards in similar way?
BUMP!
I have a lg incite (win-mo 6.1) with unlimited data and a toshiba thrive tablet (wifi - bluetooth only) and would love to be able to do this!
very active forum yet nobody has anything to say about this topic?
My incite can share internet via bluetooth or usb and my toshiba thrive has bluetooth and usb host if anybody can point me in the right direction to make this work.
