Ok guys,
Quick question for you.
What is the polarity of the power adapter?
Is the center connection, which touches the pin in the Xoom + or -?
I know it's 12VDC @ .5A.
Need to make one quick. Forgot mine somewhere.
Thanks.
Ridilen.
center is 99% times +
Hey guys
I just bought one of these (refurbished off cowboom) and i have a few questions.
1) The powerbutton does not "click" it is very soft and i need to push a little (with no response) to get the tablet to come "on". Is this normal or should it give feedback like the volume up/down buttons?
2) I bought a USB cable for this off NewEgg. When plugging in to my computer it communicates fine but the tablet does not read "Charging". Also, when i plug this usb cable in to a wall charger (usb input) the tablet does not say charging, it just charges EXTREMELY slow (possibly only registering as 5v? but still doesnt read charging?) Should i just buck up and get the official cable/charger from Asus or do you think my unit has issues?
This is the cable i have and i plug it in to a USB input wall charger (from my galaxy s3)

Thanks!

It should 'click'. The buttons on the TF101 are a little squishy and loose feeling but the power button should definitely have a click like the volume buttons.
I'd suggest going somewhere local (depending where you are) and picking up an official charger and trying that. If that doesn't work then at least you should be able to return it.

Hello
When trying to replace front camera on my phone I broke the power flex cable.
After trying to solve this I found that if I short the battery "-" to the broken flex cable the phone starts.
Does anyone knows where does the power unit stands so that I can weld the power button directly to the right pin bypassing the flex cable??
Thank you!!!

Hi, I have been looking around at spare parts but I cannot find a flexy power cable. Can you post a pic, and does it happen to have a parts number on it?
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using xda premium
Here you go...
The button that you see apart should be fixed to the flex cable next to it
Hi my power button flex cable broke when I replaced my screen on my OPO is there anyway to fix it?
Hello everyone,
Here I've got a I-Joy Draco tablet That won't boot. It wasn't with me by the time it worked correctly so I have no idea what its specs are, other than ports, a DC-5V for charging and a USB one too like for most Samsung phones. No Sim card slot but a Micro SD one on the side.
So as mentioned before the tablet won't boot up. I've left it to charge overnight but still no answer when power button is pressed. I tried to boot into recovery but it won't work either.
When I plug it in a computer thou, there's a sound, like the one that lets you know you've plug something in. I get that sound too when I long press the power+volume button while plugged in computer. That makes me believe the issue might not be hardware related.
Problem is I don't know where to find ressources for that device so if you guys could direct me I'd really appreciate it.
