SimLock update question? HELP?!?!

Hello all.
I just made one update to my Qtek S100, but now its asking me for the SimLock code, what is that?
I try'd to put my PIN code, but it's not it.
I don't know what code is this and I can't use the phone.
I try'd a 1.13 rom and 1.12 Rom and both ask for the simlock code when I restat the phone.
Help.
sim lock is there to prevent you from using this phone with another telco. However, qtek shoudnt have their phone locked to anyone. Tell us about what have you done on your SIM card and which ROM are you using previously and now.

Two problems i need help with

I brought a unlock code to unlock my uk orange htc hero G2 and it unlocked but i got no signal when a simcard other than orange was inserted. So i asked around on some forums and a guy told me to flash my phone with the RUU Hero HTC Asia SEA WWE 2.73.728.5 release signed NoDriver firmware. The phone now lets me use a vodafone sim as well as the orange sim but my virgin mobile sim i always use won't work. It reads ok but i can't dial in or out. Any help would be great.
And i rooted the hero the other day but since i flashed the phone with this update i can't get in the root menu. All i get is a triangle with a ! in and a pic of a phone. How do i reroot.

[Q] US Cellular TP2 CDMA, I want to use it in EU

I've bought a US Cellular TP2 CDMA device months ago, but now I'm back at home and I want to use it in Europe, mostly in Hungary, with an Eu carrier's SIM. Is it possible to put an European radio on this device or I have to use the WU radios? Should I unlock the phone to put a new radio on it?
I'm not sure about Cellurar, but try and put your SIM card (there is a place below battery) and when you turn on the phone it will ask you if you want to use Global mode. If you answer yes it would work as it should . No rom flashing is necessery Flashing GSM version of ROM can kill your phone , so I wouldn't do it!

Thanks for the answer. Right now I can't try it, but I will as soon as I'll have the SIM.
Is there any difference in hardware between cdma & gsm touch pro 2, or just the radio firmware?
(As far as I know, every TP2 has the QUALCOMM CMDA MSM CHIP inside, either originally CDMA or GSM.)
So the main question is that if I never ever want to use it outside of the EU again (or as a CDMA device), am I able to flash somehow an EU radio on the phone?
You don't need to flash anything, just remove your sim card when in USA , you could then use it in Cellurar network (you should register it in the network first and pay I suppose).

Thanks for the help. That's ok, I understand it, but I won't go back to the USA in the next few years, so this phone will be used only in the EU from now. I've unregistered it at US Cellular.
The reason is why I want to use it with an EU radio, is that I want to use is with EU roms and I've heard that some complains about problems with WU radios when trying to use 3G in the EU.
So my life would be much easier this way, but if it's not possible, I'll use CDMA...
Any ideas? Is it possible to flash an EU radio and ROM on my CDMA TP2?
No. Don't even try it. You don't need it, CDMA rom would work with 3g network in Hungary .

sprint and cellular tp2 are supposed to be unlocked, but i may be wrong. no need for any radio or flashing. the cdma version contains the cdma and gsm radio, so need of flashing rom or radio. everything is built in
thanks defaultdotxbe for the link, but that really doesn't help as well I brought a verizon htc tp2 rhod500, winmo 6.1 not a sprint htc tp2 (cannot confirm but stated on advert) (thats what it says on the rainbow splash - volume down key + hang up key) from ebay apparently clean esn. Recieved today and have been trying to connect to O2 (gsm 900 band not sure about umts).
but I have the following problems:
1)It finds the networks but cannot register even under umts/gsm bands 900+1800 + umts 2100+900 or gsm 1900+850 + umts 1900+850.
2)Same problem under global
3) Upon start up get warning need to insert valid verizon sim - guess it has not been unlocked yet?
4)Under settings, there is no security or personal tab... so i cant get the unlocker as i dont know the imei.. or can i phone verizon and they will give it to me?
any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
p.s does the htc tp2 have hspda / umts bands usable in the eu - the htc website really doesn't specify but it does for verzion :S.

Edit:
Please remove the spaces for the link to work.
I'm using htc tp2 from us celular in Macedonia it is sim unlocked (but you can not use it with us sim card) just insert the sim and that's it offcourse you need to change the settings from cdma to global mode to do that go to settings/comunications /phone/network

[Q] Error 260 Connection when trying to update HTC HD7 to Mango RTM - Please Help!

Guys,
I'm trying to update my HTC HD7 with the ROM's as per Football's post but am getting a "Error [260] Connection"
I have entered the Bootlogger Tri-Colour screen and have an unbranded phone (with Orange UK SIM) but still it won't connect giving me that error.
The ROM I'm using is the Schubert one which I understand is the correct one for the HD7.
Can anyone help at all?

Hi.
You can find the mean of the error here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254671
Thanks for the info but I managed to sort it, I had trouble installing drivers so re-installed and now it recognises it.
The problem I'm getting now is Error 194 Invalid Vender although I have an unbranded HD7 and have downloaded the Schubert RUU so any suggestions on this issue would be much appreciated.
Anyone able to help? It's as if my phone is not unbranded but Ididn't get it from any specific carrier so I know it is unbranded

[Q] How can I check region of software

Hello,
How can I check region of software or product code like samsung, CDA in SE, I use HTC first time and I don't know how it names in HTC
3rd part of software version is region or maybe carrier, for example current unbranded EU is 1.78.401.2 while T-mobile USA is 1.84.531.2.
EU: 401 TMobile USA:531.
Please correct me if Im wrong here!
Check out the shipped ROM thread in development section maybe you can figure more out from the filenames of the RUU's there.
I have 1.78.401.2, but onle soft is for all Europe?
other comapny have diffrent sw for other coutry.
Each Htc Phone has its own CID. Unbranded Euro for One S is [HTC_001]
If You need to detect what is Your Cid You can use CID getter from market.
I have just downloaded and checked and I have HTC_102, HTC-GER, I would like to change to Poland CID, HTC_B25, do you know any easy way for it?
I found one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1674202
and it needs root, but I wouldn't like to root my phone.
Sorry You have to unlock bootloader first. As far as I know its only one way to change CID. If You dont want to do this better stay with morelocale2
unlock bootloader is enought or I need root too?
I have used morelocate2, but I think that it dosen't translate all
