Hi,
The #1 application for any of the many PDA's I have is reading eBooks.
My question: is there any eBook application, that will READ a book in human voice?
The reason why I am searching something like that is that I drive a lot and it would be great having my Qtek 9090 reading me the books while I drive.
I tested one voice program (don't remember the name), but it would read only text contained in the copy/past container. No way of getting it to read a full book.
Thanks,
vma

Hello,
I am trying to read a book on my device (Em One). I have Adobe PDF reader but when I open the file, the text is all blurred. There are no options that can improve this in the software.
The only chance is exporting the PDF into DOC or TXT but then there are too many problems, such as headers and footers being merged with the text, some letters being incorrectly exported, e.g. ALL instances of "fl" and "fi" as in "flower" and "financial" are replaced by "?"....
Anyway, I'd like to be able to read the book in PDF format. Here's a screenshot of what the text looks like.
Any suggestions?
Try Foxit reader for windows mobile:

I checked briefly a few othere threads and didnt notice an app out there...Is anyone aware of an app that will take a picture of a document and then convert it into a word file? I'm thinking of this for the use of converting notes I take in class to a PDF and/or word document that I can use to create study notes.
I'm running honeycomb on a xoom tablet.
Thanks!
i think Google Goggles will help u with this...
i use it to take pic of my study notes and convert to text, which i copy paste to document...
Do you know if there're any that recognize Arabic text?
The Google Docs App has this funtion iirc. I don't know about Arabic support, you'd have to try it.
I noticed outside of highlights of officially purchased kindle books from amazon, there aren't any ebook readers which allow for automated quotation export to a doc or txt file. I think this would be a really neat notetaking feature and one you don't see outside the kindle.
In retrospect it's also a good way to remember what YOU want to get out of a book.
I'd pay for it.
Hi, XDA forum!
I'm for years looking for app that would let me simple edition on ODT or DOC formats and synchronization with Dropbox of files. I checked Kingstone Office, and it has problems with synchronization for now.
To be fair, I don't need whole ODT or DOC as formats, but file format that usage bold, italics and underline for text, as it is for writing my creative ideas in travel. The thing is I could save it on Dropbox, and then develop more in comfortable way on my PCs in home. Or read aloud as it is on PCs.
I used before software like Elemenatry, but TXT files he would done was a bit problematic in reading on Notepad+++ after usage, as there weren't used end line signs.
What could you advice for me on Android market?
Hi, Is there a way to search the text using Evernote or other apps? I mean search the text document like you can in adobe reader on android? I have very long txt files and I have to do some in-text search in order to find some maths parameters.
