I find that iphone have an 2000mAh Rechargeable External Battery Pack that atached like a silicone case mix with car docking in Dealextreme see the link:
http://www.dealextreme.com/p/2000ma...ack-for-all-ipod-iphone-2g-3g-3gs-black-32202
it look like it can be a good Accessorie for the desire but I can't find one like this for the Desire
since you are from israel.... you have got some kind of Energizer power pack it cost around 100 nis but it is not a good looking one but it is use-full
HI
Don't Know if it's still relevant but I bought PortaPow external battery charger, with 3000mah capacity. They also have cases that charge the phone, even with solar power - I loved them a lot.
A bit more expensive, but worth it in my opinion.

Dan
looks usefull !
thanx for the link
I just ordered mine, it should recharge my Desire 3 times.
http://www.proporta.com/F02/PPF02P05.php?t_id=5330&t_mode=des
One thing you guys might be overlooking is that the sated capacity for most of these power packs is at the batteries 3.7v. The unit then has to turn the 3.7v to 5.5v which will mean the actually mah you will get out of the device to your phone will be lower.
Still useful though if your battery dies!
Phil
Im in the process of making something simular, it wont be pretty but it will do the job.
I have ordered a 4x "C" Cell battery holder, that I will wire to a USB cable.
I have a few C Cell 3000mAh rechargables @1.2v each.
1.2x4=4.8V. I figure, this should be close enough to provide power into the desire.
It wont be pretty, but it should charge the battery of the phone a few times when im out for a few days
Total cost will be way less than the cost of the ones you buy.
Thanks for the links. Still deciding which one to get. Anyone have any experiences with the above?
what do you think about this one in NEWEGG?
RAVPower Dynamo-On-the-Go RC-RHOD160 Cell Phone Battery (2-Pack, 3.7V / 1700mAh) with RP-UC01 Universal Cell Phone Battery Charger, for HTC EVO 4G, Touch Pro2, T7373, A9292; HTC Snap, Tilt 2, etc.
Only $30.99 +free shipping with 2 pack of batteries and a free charger. I found one pack even cost $14.99.
The capacity is 1700mah, more powerful than the original, and the charger seems very helpful and functional.
If I were you I'd check E-Bay out and lean towards an "Anker" battery. It's one of the best and usually cheaper than the one you just quoted. I got two with a charger for around $18. Just my $.02 worth....
I don't know how the anker look like , it may have very cheap price as the most items on ebay, but i recently bought this RAVPower battery and it acts great, it last longer than the original battery, and 35% is a large improvement for a battery of the same dimensions,Not only was the performance fantastic, but at various marked intervals, I felt the bottom of my phone - the Ravpower battery managed to stay substantially cooler than the HTC battery during all intervals. This is great, because Li-ion technology definitely prefers cool temperatures and the stock battery is known for running exceptionally warm.
recently bought for 17.99 USD HyperIon 1800 MaH Battery x2 + wall charger... so far battery monitor says I'm actually getting 2400 MaH with the battery. Conveniently enough it comes with 2 battery's so one can be charging while you deplete the other... overall I give the product an 9/10. Strongly reccomend purchasing

Aftermarket batteries don't have built-in temperature sensors and can overheat and burn a hole in your pocket.
I have been using Zerolemon's 3000 mah batteries for more than a month and they are great! They last longer that your stock 2600 mah battery, well constructed, and are reliable. The other bonus is that they fit in your Galaxy S4 with your regular back cover! With 2x 3000 mah batteries you also get "the world's fastest wall charger for the Galaxy S4" from what they say, but that is wrong. The wall charger takes 11 hours to just charge one 3000 mah battery.
Conclusion: The 3000 mah batteries are excellent, but the wall charger will take quite some time to charge the batteries.
What's Included:
2x 3000 mah Zerolemon batteries
1x Wall charger (Works on both my Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S3 battery)

After reading their description:
Wall charger is .6 amp stock is 2 amp. So it will definitely be slower to charge.
No nfc.
What is it, 3000mAh or 200mAh more than stock? They need to do their math. It's one or the other.
I'd like to see a side by side comparison by the numbers, I have been burned by aftermarket batteries before. May consider it but the fact there is no nfc may be a deal breaker.

Where is the comparision between stock samsung 2600 and the zero lemon 3000 as far as how long it lasts???
Thanks
Honestly, this is more of an overview than a review. I'd expect some actual statistics in the video such as overall battery time with stock vs zerolemon batteries (maybe running constant video or something), but all you say is whether or not it's a good battery. Sorry to be so negative, but this is really lacking actual "review" content.
I also purchased these batteries. NFC not being included didnt matter to me whatsoever. Anywho I would say im a heavy user: twitter, facebook, youtube, fun run etc.. and i easily get 16 hours out of one charge. Make sure you do the cycle for these batteries when you get them. The best cycle i had with the 3000 mah was 1 day and 8 hrs i believe.
Here is my proof since I foresee someone asking.
I bought these, good batteries, wasnt expecting alot longer battery life just wanted some extra batteries, if you are a power user dont expect to see a whole lot longer battery life. But they do give a little extra run.
As far as the actual company goes, Yes mine are genuine batteries, they should really make it so the instructions on the batteries them selves match the instructions that are on the card. Dont know if anyone else saw that.
Example, Batteries say charge for 8 hours prior to use. Card says 12. Card says kill to 1% before charging, the batteries dont.
Also the wallcharger....definitely isnt the worlds fastest. I can actually charge my phone while playing on it continuously while charging and it charges faster then the wall charger.
But hey, 2 extra quality batteries for 20 bucks. Still worth the 20
I see all these people bought these 3000mah battery packages...
Where are the side by side comparisons to a stock samsung 2600mah battery???
thats what I want to see...
Is it worth the 20 bucks? or just keep the phone plugged into your computer or car?
I bought the two 3000mAh batteries + wall charger as well. I have to say i'm disappointed with the charging speed of the wall charger. It kind of breaks the deal for me. I wanted the spare batteries with an external charger that would allow me to keep the batteries charged without having them on my phone itself. I guess i'm going to send my feedback to ZeroLemon, and see what they will do about it.
The batteries are good compared to the original Samsung 2600mAh one. Right off the bat when i used the ZeroLemon battery, with the same phone settings (brightness, mobile networks, etc), i could notice the battery draining a little slower.
I've read many online reviews on these 3000mAh batteries, and they were right about the battery being a bit bigger than the stock battery, although i couldn't really notice the size difference when i compared them side by side. The back cover will shut properly after some pressing on the sides. Nothing to be concerned about.
All in all, i love the batteries a lot, but it's just too bad the wall charger is practically useless as i'm going to be using the Samsung charger which is way faster.

Thats sick! my stock battery lasts about 9 hours (i use it quite a bit)
Definately going to have to purchase one of these
I just ordered one from amazon for like 8 bucks! I hope it improves the already stellar battery life I get running CM 11 4.4.2
Can anyone comment on this battery?

I live in India and I am getting a better deal on this one.
Just got the Zerolemon 3000 mah batteries and wall charger off of Amazon. They are great. I also have a Hyperion 7500mah extended battery. I can get 2.5 days easily or of the extended battery, but due daily use i wanted something closer to stick size. The ZL 3000 batteries are perfect. I get about 5 hours more out of the Zerolemon over stock. 15 hours vs 21 hours. Enough juice you get me though the day. Will save the Hyperion for times when I may tether or be away from a charger for long periods of time.
Really good deal for $20!!

So i got a single zero lemon 3000 mAh battery coming in the mail. I have the samsung OEM battery charger when i bought and extra battery. My question is it safe to use the samsung battery charger since I wont have the zero lemon one that is provided in the link above? Thanks in advance.

Same question here!
I recently received the Anker Astro Mini 3000mAh External Battery for free from Anker in return for my open and honest feedback...so, here it is!
Anker Astro Mini 3000mAh External Battery
http://www.ianker.com/product/79AN3K-SA
The Astro Mini best served my purposes as I spent the last 2 weeks in the hospital visiting my brother. I used the Astro mini to recharge my completely discharged 0% Anker battery in my Galaxy S4.
Testing:
After extensive testing, I have determined that the Astro Mini provides roughly 1900mAh or 73% of a charge that makes it to the battery in the GS4. Anker states in the manual that 30% of the battery capacity is lost to heat and voltage conversion...which would effectively make the battery 2100mAh. I found this to be relatively accurate, given the fact that the GS4 can also lose some of the charge capacity through heat dissipation. It's within the realm of possibility that the GS4 wastes another 200mAh of capacity in the charging process.
My Verdict:
The Astro Mini is GREAT for use as an emergency backup battery! It consistently provides a 73% charge to my GS4. At $22 on Amazon, it's a great value as a quality external battery. It also comes with a short micro usb cable, a micro usb to Apple (up to 4S) adapter, and a quality bag to carry it all in. For my purposes, I choose to carry a backup battery in my pocket at all times. However, this external battery has come in quite handy on the few days at the hospital that I depleted both batteries and fits perfectly in my pocket in addition to my spare battery.
As a side note, I'd HIGHLY suggest that you purchase Anker replacement batteries for your GS4, as I did, as they most certainly outperform the Samsung factory batteries. NFC is fully functional with these replacement batteries as well.

I also purchased the Anker 18W car charger for my vehicle and it seems to perform far superior to any car charger that I've had before. I'm quickly becoming an Anker fan, after seeing and experiencing the quality of their products...and this is currently the only Anker product that I've received for free...I have purchased all of my other Anker products.

Do you have screen on time and standby time for the anker battery?
I received a RavPower 3000 lipstick charger. Think it performs quite similar as yours. I love that they have a luster gold color, it matches perfectly with an iPhone 5S.
