Hi
It would be great if someone could help me with this.
I work for t-mobile and I am trying to help a customer with opening JAD and JAR files on a MDA III.
As far as I can tell there is no midlet manager. I have searched the CD with no luck. Can anyone help. No java files can be opened at all
well if it's not there then it's because you dident put it there
you being tmobile
such programs are not included in normal windows CE
so it's 3th party applications the 3th party being tmobile
tmobile can include it in the extented rom in their next rom release if they wish

You should already have a midp java applet manager (usually in Programs, and called Midlet Manager) on your device.

What are the pros and cons of upgrading to Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard?
I already have the files from karhoe (http://karhoe.net/content/view/21/1/).
His guide it's great, but I don't wanna phone vodafone for warranties and stuff.
But I found that WM5 for smartphone does NOT include pocket Office.
Is it worth it to upgrade from WM6.1?
If you have a warranty on your phone, it'll void it. Also, if you don't follow the instructions to a T, you could brick your phone. Those are the only cons I can think of.
The pros are 6.1 doesn't seem to slow down a tornado.

Please find 'Esmertec Jbed 20080222 3.1M.cab' in this forum it is really good.. if you installed it on storage card, you will always get retained all your java applis. even after rom flashes..
Only thing is you have to create a shortcut manually to '\windows\start menu\programs' (or copy the shortcut to there) after installation.
Hello all
We have been forced into upgrading our hardware from the Qtek 2020i/HTC P6500 to the Vodafone V1615 (HTC Kaiser) for our nursing staff, the PDAs are used to run a specific application which runs fine on the old models, strangely enough it also works on the Kaisers that have WM6.0 OS.
I do however have 20 PDAs that are running WM6.1, the application will not run on these, I am looking to downgrade a test model back to WM6.0 and was wondering if someone has a WM6.0 ROM I could get hold of.
I hope someone can help with this "little" problem
TIA
Damian Byrne
Update
It appears the application is working now until it attempts to load visit details when it falls over, I am assuming this may be due to the .net version on the PDA. I am going to try and get older .net (cf) versions installed onto the PDA
I stumbled upon this file sometime back
but I haven't been able to get to work on any of my phone
BlueAngel (winmo 6.0)
Polaris (winmo 6.0 and 6.1)
Topaz (winmo 6.5)
so I was wondering if there is any developer out there who would figure out what device would I need to run this cab file. Better still enable it to work on Topaz
Thanks, I'm sorry if this isn't the right section to post it, or if the file is prohibited
