Hi. The only screen saver I actually have on my device is the SPB Time analogue or digital clock. Does anyone know an interesting source for animated screen savers?. When I have my Imate plugged into its cradle for hours in front of my eyes, I would really appreciate to have some nice animation on it. Thanks in advance for all those who might advise, Regards.
here's the link to animated today...you would have to purchase the software though. if i remember i paid something like 14 bucks (???), you would also have to install the flash app needed (free). from there you can install animated today themes. i use them and they're quite nice. i use the "bubbles theme"; blue screen with bubbles floating up. nice too since it fits the "o2" bubbles xda theme. you can also search around for sites which offer free animated today screens.

for QVGA
do a 320x240 bmp for landscape
and a 240x320 for portrait
put them in the RES folder of your Slide2Unlock dir
name them wallpaperL.bmp (landscape)
and wallpaper.bmp (portrait)
I have 3 new ones now. . .
i have 3, but this is the only one i use... the other 2 are the earth one that Apple has been showing off lately, and another earthy-space like thing, i dont know why i like those so much...but this one i like the best
How about posting some of thesee for download.. portrait and landscape modes.
here are mine. I just made the landscape one, so I'm not sure how good it looks, I never use landscape myself. I am working on a dialer skin that matches the theme now as well.

landscape:

i'm not sure why they were converted to png, i use bmp myself. Not sure it matters to the program though, I just decided to use what it was using from the beginning.

Another source for images of the correct size are the splash screens for the TomTom Go x00 series (search the net there are hundreds available) - don't use the splash screens for the x10 devices though as these are the wrong size - Mike

There is a registry setting you can use. I'm not sure of the exact details. Try searching around.
Or, you can flash romeos where it is already enabled.

Hi,
Could you be most specific on what you used? I like the tf3d buttons. Lots of stuff out there and I have yet to run into it.
Thanks

It will go over the original battery meter. Use the arrows in Ariels options to move it over there. Colors are also changable. Put the ariel battery exe in your /windows/startup on the fuze, This way it starts up automaticly each time.
Advanced config (sticky) found in the Diamond forum has the option to enable the H icon also.

thanks dude, ur a star... back to ur origional post as it seems it totally went off topic... I use the stock ROM and don't use the TF3D as it drains battery. In theory its great but my peeve is that in the TF3D, I cannot see multiple calander entries. What I mean is I use SPB Diary and I can see my appointmets up to 31 days in advance and that is more useful to me... therefore I use the standard WM screen but installed SPB Time, Diary, and Phone Suite.
thanks
Today Screen Question
2 questions on the OP
1. are you getting major slow down on the black theme? I've put 2 diferent ones on my fuze and it takes 5 or 6 seconds for the people to come up on the tab, programs and others are almost as slow. Standard ATT grey is kind of ugly, but it's super fast, everything comes up immediately in tf3d
2. (probably make myself look dumb) what are you using to show your screen and get a picture? Are you literally taking a picture and cropping, or is there a tool of some sort to do this?
Thanks

After running all the well know perfomance tweaks off the forums here I really dont notice too much slowdown over the att theme. I notice maybe a 1 second delay on the touch flo screen from the time the tab is picked and let go until it loads the content of the screen. I can live with that.
Lots of freeware screen capture programs that do the basic job ok, I just stuck Screen Capture v1.1 off some ppc freeware site to snap it. I dont really need a fancy program for that It puts a bmp or jpg in your "documents" folder on the ppc then.

1. I'm using one of the black themes and it only takes about 2-3 seconds for the people to come up. (A second or two slower than AT&T but not too bad.)
2. Try My Mobiler at www.mymobiler.com

i would really love for my screen to look like the blkue theme you have going. looks great! wold you share?
Still using ATT Theme, with tweaks
I tried using full theme from diamond threads, but they make my tf3d crawl, even with every tweak I've found. I found some threads that make it easy to change things, like add clock - icons - and then get rid of top and bottom curtains. Just used old fashioned today theme .tsk black to change top and bottom bar, and added wallpaper in tf3d settings, although right now that picture doesn't carry over to the other tabs, mun has a program to do that but it kills my clock to all zeros all the time.

Hey guys/girls,
Ages, I tell ya. Ages!
Been looking for realistic animated code wallpaper for my HD2 for so long now.
I know it must exist but I just can't find it, or at least a animated code wallpaper that doesn't look ghetto.
Can anyone help, point me in the right direction, or put one together? I'd pay for the latter to save myself plugging away online any longer.
Please and thanks!

No-one has yet discovered how to create animated wallpapers for the HD2 (or they've not told anyone, if they have!)
The ones that you have seens have simply been the stock animated wallpapers with the images changes. The actual movement has been exactly the same. Someone did one that they called a "matrix style" wallpaper, but it unfortunately looked nothing like the matrix rain.
Until we know how to code the animated wallpapers, you're not going to get this unless you use a UI that allows animated gifs as wallpaper.
I would love a full sized animated wallpaper. I must say I love wallpaper. I really dont like all the icons on the HD2. I use Spb Shell and keep the main screen free of icons. It's just like Android.
Dear all,
Thanks for all the useful tips over the past few years, I've finally done something worth giving back to the community.
I noticed the HD2 and diamond skins but there wasn't a skin available the correct resolution for my QVGA Touch2... So I decided to make one using the existing skins as examples. The process was pretty straightforward and took me about an hour playing around to get it right.
I know that there will be some issues so let me tell you what I already know before you come back to me to tell me.
Anti-aliasing is a bit rough around the edges, it looks best on white backgrounds. At any zoom level other than 100% it does not go transparent and you have a white edge (which looks a bit ugly). According to other similar threads this is due to a bug with MM not the skin itself.
Also if you switch the skin into landscape it goes wrong. I am hoping that somebody may have some ideas as to how to get MM to rotate the skin, or be able to set a landscape skin up. I could not find any examples of this.
Also I don't think the start button works, although the button is mapped out.
Enjoy, let me know if you have any ideas about rotating it. I don't have much time to adjust but thought other people may well want the same as I did, so here you are. Feel free to improve on it.
Mr Gringo

That is the point! But there was not a skin for My Mobile which makes it look like the Touch2 until now. Those screen shots are actually displaying my phones screen, not an emulator or static screenshot.
Have a look at this site: fuzemobility.com/mymobiler-skins-for-htc-hd2-tp2-and-more/ and you should catch on.
Ok, thought that the screen was "automatically" displayed by mymobiler.....
And since I use direct mobile device connection, never had the need for mymobiler .....
Will give it a try.....thanks for clarification!
*rubs forehead* ARGH!! this seems to be a endless and un-productive loop What i want to do seeing as i got a htc maple from wind mobile is be able to either remove or hide some of the home screen widgets without having to recode or get into the coding of it. Is there not like a stand alone application that will allow me to do this?
Hi can easily remove the widgets from your home screen. Just press and hold on the widget then drag the widget down to the little rubbish bin at the bottom of the screen and the widget will be gone.

maybe i said the wrong model
thank you for the reply, but the htc maple here in canada as far as i know is similar to the htc snap sold in USA. i am using it to write this, the maple (snap) has a built in full qwerty keyboard and trackball.....sadly it is NOT a touch screen.....
Sorry I wrongly assumed it would be a touchscreen android handset with htc sense. Have a look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=499 and see if anyone has the same issue

thanks for the link, i was actually thinking about the CHome config but with lack of the great awesome beverage coffee in my system could not think, let alone type, so i am amazed that i was able to post semi-intelligently yesterday (let alone now). there is a huge wealth of information (and apps) for my phone so once i get the config downloaded will look into other apps. thanks again!
