I got this error after trying to get the cognition ROM. My samsung captivate was rebooting and then when i slid it to unlock i touched the screen and this error popped up and now i cant do anything with my phone. It also keeps turning on by itself and so I took the battery out.
Is there any way i can fix this???
Just recently my phone stopped working and shows the following error message: THE PROCESS COM.ANDROID.PHONE HAS STOPPED UNEXPECTEDLY. PLEASE TRY AGAIN. Then, the only choice is a button FORCE CLOSE. When I click it the error message pops up again within 2 seconds. I have no clue what I did to cause this. My Captivate is rooted with Cyanogen7 MOD loaded. I loaded Cyanogen about a week ago but the error message started two days ago.
Any ideas?
Did you flash any themes, dialers, battery indicators lately? Anything at all that could have caused this?
Next time your phone does this, try plugging it into your computer and type 'adb logcat'.
Assuming you have the SDK installed, it will tell you what is causing it.
OR you could go into Titanium backup and wipe the data for that process and reboot.
Today I suddenly got the error message "process com.android.phone is not responding". I wasn't making a call; I was just writing a text message.
I chose "wait" and the error message came back a couple of times. I think tried "force close", and the error message still reappeared. I rebooted, and since then the error message is yet to resurface.
Any ideas on the cause of this error? I haven't changed anything major or installed new software today.

Hi,
Try going into recovery and fixing permissions...
Hi
Thanks for your reply. Please can you elaborate - which file's permissions should I fix, and to what?
Recovery fix permissions fixes all the file permissions and leaves log on root of ad card

It appears my device (zte N9810) is not very popular as it didn't show up on any forums. I'm at my wits end with this phone. It started when I tried to switch internal to external SD. Something happened that went horribly wrong. I can't even reset my phone as I get error messages "Unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped, then I get a message that the process Gapps has stopped, I also can't access my folder files as it states Unfortunately, file manager has stopped. Every time I try to access something that might help me, I get some stupid as error message. I tried every thing I know of, is my phone junk now? Please if you can help me I would certainly appreciate it. Thanks Randy
Hello everyone,
My phone is HTC One M8.
I was developing an app on Android Studio, I added an icon to the app and then rebooted the app, but instead of opening the app, the screen went black, and an error message popped up: "com.android.systemui has stopped unexpectedly... D you want to send an error report..."
When I clicked send, the message box reappeared and nothing happened. "System UI has stopped unexpectedly. Would you like to send..."
I tried to reboot my phone a few times, but nothing changes. A black screen and an error message.
Please help :crying:

Hi ,
Sorry to hear that. You may try to flash stock img or if you have custom recovery installed then you can try to flash the appropriate custom rom. For further queries , you could try posting in your device forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help
Good luck
