Calendar is missing from Today screen! :( - General Topics

I've got an O2 XDAIIs, I recently noticed that the calendar / upcoming appointments is missing from my today screen, It must have happened with one of the apps I've installed because it was there before.
It doesn't appear in the Settings | Today | Items menu...
Anyone know how I can get it back? Or could someone post the relevant bits of the registry that I can check my values against.
Cheers
Neil

Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Today\Items\"Calendar"]
"Flags"=dword:00000003
"Enabled"=dword:00000001
"Order"=dword:00000004
"Type"=dword:00000001
"Selectability"=dword:00000001
order can be different

Thanks a million mate, my values were different to yours.. I've changed them and the calendar is back now
I wonder which app killed it ? :?
Thanks again
Neil

SPV 600

Hi there,
Firstly, I am new to all this so please dont flame me to hard for it. I have been looking all over the forum and spent some hours here before I decided to post this
I have a SPV M600 and want to do the following
1) Unlock it to T-Mobile
2) Update the rom to the Imate Jamin Rom (I have this)
3) Do I need to clear the ext rom ?
I dont know what tools or programs I need so if someone could kindly tell me where to get these and in what order to do it in, I will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for ignoring my ignorance
Thanks
Not an answer to your question but a question for you:
The SPV M600 has Orange's horrible menu over the top of the regular M$ Today screen. Is it possible to get rid of this and have the standard M$ user interface? The reason I ask is because I'm thinking of getting one as my next PDA/Phone.
Hopefully someone will provide links to all the instructions you need. :wink:
Can you please post your version details?
i.e your ROM and radio version etc, because not all of the rom versions can be unlocked....
some people have managed to change ROM to the new Imate one using Machinagod's RUU utility, but it does not sim unlock your device.
Some users have unlocked using Lockiwiz (search in wizard forum), but it does not work with AKU2 ROMS
Hope this helps

hi,
i recently purchased a spv m600. you can easily use the standard today screen. just go into the "today" parameters and uncheck the "orange" entry in the elements section.
i have done this and am happily using a standard today screen. however...
on the orange screen there is a cool menu for the sms stuff. it gives you lots of information about sms receieved, etc... i am missing this a little.
however, without the orange today screen, i can not find the sms program at all. i have been looking around, but have not found the executable to be able to launch or create a shortcut.
if any one out there knows where it is, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all. I have thoroughly searched through the forum and this is the closest I have come to nyoneone mentioning Oranges Today plugin!
I am trying to customise my Today screen using Wisbar Advance & WAD, but the Orange Today plugin keeps poppin up and interfering with available option for the WAD screen. I think it's an incompatibility thing, but I can't get rid of the Orange plugin even though I have it unchecked in the Today settings.
Please help. Is it deletable (the plug-in) or does anyone know its file/application name?
Any help is appreciated. :?
Did you even read the manual??
To get rid of the Orange plug-in:
Go to Start -> Settings -> Today Screen -> Items
Unceck Orange and press "Ok"
Been there, done that!!

'but I can't get rid of the Orange plugin even though I have it unchecked in the Today settings.'
Tried that! Hence the request for some help!??! :roll:
Anyway, not to worry mccune. Thanks for trying all the same. :wink:

No more items on today screen

Hi,
after having installed bbconnect (which finally doesn't work on touch cruise....) I've lost all today items except the date. If I go to settings>today>items I can found only date item to flag.
Could you help me (maybe working on registers) to repristinate my missed iitems (sms, HTC Home, calendar, etc, etc).
It's all day that I search a solutions (searching in XDA-Developers threads) but I am not able to find it (maybe a hard-reset?).
Thank you in advance
Marco
Try re-installing HTC Home PPC Blue.cab wich is located at Windows folder.
Rgds,

How to restore HTC Today Plugin

Hi, Hope someone can help.
Sorry if this is covered in another thread - I tried to search and failed.
My HTC Touch Cruise seems to have lost the HTC Today Plug-in.
Where does WM6 store the plugins? I just want to restore the original one that came with the phone. It seems to have been broken when I restored a Sprite Backup.
Do I just need a specific file?
All I've found is freeware links to replacements, but i'd rather avoid any more 3rd party software breaking my phone..
Thanks in advance.
David
Go to Start > Settings > Personal > Today > Items > HTC Home. It should be there and unchecked, just check it and it will (should) be back.
How to Restore HTC Today Plugin
Umm. Sorry - I do know how to make things appear on today if they're available. That's my problem - the plugin is not there in the list.
As it happens I went and got a 3rd party version with extra features, so the problem's sorted, but I'd still like to know what file it was that I had to restore.
Thanks
David

Today Screen Order

Hi, I want to move the 'Date' field below 'Dial Lookup' but above the 'Calendar' entries on the today screen on my WM6 Treo 750 but there's no option to move it down the order on the preferences screen.
I've looked in the registry but there's no Today entry for 'Date', and I can't find anything on Google.
I wondered if anyone had any ideas ?.
Thanks,
Mike Dyer.

yes you're right
It's not possible.
In [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Today] there is a value called Date that allows you to enable (1), or dissable (0) it.
That's all you can do.

HTC Touch Diamond SMS Time Stamp Issue!

So I've tried looking around the forums and even posting for help but no one seems to have an answer...
First some background info. I am using Don Salari's [Version 1] [Build 21893] Manila (Sense) 2.5 on Windows Mobile 6.5 on a HTC Touch Diamond. I have the Taichi Phone Canvas Dialer and the 12 icon quicklink mod for the home tab.
My problem is that my SMS text messages come in 5 minutes prior to when they were actually sent. What I mean is that when I send myself a text message at 6:45 it comes in at 6:40. My problem is not an hour or 5 hours or even the 2016 bug. So none of the fixes I come across work! I have tried 2 registry changes including TrustTimeZoneField="0" and RecvTimeStamp="0".
Completely stumped and because of this issue my threaded text messages are all out of whack. Please someone help me!
PS If this is the wrong forum sorry!

Maybe the device's internal clock is offset 5 minutes... that is just a guess though. Make sure that the device's time is being updated through your carrier though.
is this under settings in touchflo -> Data Services -> Internet time sync?
Get time from internet is already checked.
is there another way to set the internal clock of the phone?
