TOM TOM? got caBs

Ok so i got these for my TILT.
tomtom_navigator_6.cab
tomtom_today.cab
Tomtom is installed but heres my problem, it doesnt have maps lol.. What can i do?
I download this thing called "TomTom.Mobile.V6.All.Europe.USA.Maps.With.Keygen.2007" from torrents.
Whats inside is a "setup.exe" which extracts the following files.
Great_Britain.postal
Great_BritainPostal.ver
Install.exe
ehh??? help me! lol

I doubt anybody will be willing to help you knowing that you have an illegal copy of TomTom.

ok this is how i have it on my phone
On my memory card i have the maps stored in 'UK_and_IE_plus_major_roads_of_WE 1409' folder (whatever the maps name is)
the two files:
Great_Britain.postal
Great_BritainPostal.ver
are stored in a folder called ZIP
if you have any schemes this should be stored in a SCHEMES folder
same with voices on VOICES
try the maps that i sent you the link to.

First of all there is not basis of banning me as i have not published any illegal links or done anything illegal here. Unk3 asked for advice which i have help him with, without bring this forum in to legal problems. I advised him where to place these files and again nothing illegal here.

for me it is stability. no crashes and fast as lightning. everything is working flawlessly. it's really just a preference over cooked roms versus standard roms with all the bloatware.

Hi, i am new here, i have got a ATT tilt. i have just unlocked it. and i have a few questions about the phone.
1. can i get the HTC(touch) interface instead of the stock one.
2. How to activate the GPS? (do i need to unlock it)
3. What do i need to do if i wanna watch youtube in my phone?

Since this is your first post I will point you in the right direction.
First see the fist link in my signature. This will teach you the in's and out's of posting.
1. I think what you mean is the cube if I not mistaken. You can get the touch interface (cube)by downloading this. Poorly Duck's Cubes
2. GPS is already activated. I would suggest downloading Google Maps or Live Search for the mobile. You should be able to find both of these by searching google. Google Maps & Windows Live Search Mobile
3. To watch youtube. Download first this app. TCPMP .72
Then download this one. FlashVideoBundle
Click on Video Sites from Start > Programs and you should be able to select either YouTube...Google Video what have you.
Next time you want to find something you are looking for I would do this.
Use Google Advanced search by clicking on this link.Google Advanced Search and then put XDA in front of anything you are looking for.

vBullentin has a module that makes member's read preselected threads before being able to read any other thread and post. I hope the admin takes it into consideration. It well surely save all this clutter.

How do you know? One peek into games section and i'm pretty sure there's a lot of illegal software..
I suppose it's the same in software section. If somebody says it's free, it doesn't mean, it's actually legal..

i like the fact that it's all about the HD2, all apps are tested and working.
on other sites, i hate it when i download only to find out its no good on my HD2

I wanted to ask same question - thread disappeared overnight. I made comment about strange Airplay error in one of the games, hoping for an answer and next morning it was gone…

One would think that, were it infected with any malware, the Mods would leave the thread in place with a warning and close it...

I'm afraid they won't do that. Why? - it's simple - Dubai's phone's distributor suddenly realised, there are more downloads then phones were sold. Probably that's why main download link shared on xda, doesn't already work (made a copy ). NFS shift is the best quality game I had ever seen on WinMo OS. So, probably EA forced them to cut promotion or change form of distribution.

I think the mods deleted the thread, because the link doesn't provide *free* programs anymore.
Since the offer provided through that link/company was valid till Friday, any links to it now (and later) would be referring to warez...
And we all know this forum's opinion about warez
So they probably closed the forum to avoid any future problems/claims

I contacted the Moderators to ask if it was in confusion with there rules. In case of I will removed it.
Personally I don't see the problem; and if my memory is okay I tough thy removed previous thread because the link didn't function anymore.

I am bit struggling to install nfs on my HD2. It always shows a message "memory running low". I copied it on my sd card but dont know how to run it. I have 2GB card. Any suggestions

Just been made aware of this thread. The others were removed because they essentially were warez.
Going onto the original site and obtaining the software direct is fine, provided you qualify for the download via their checks/procedures. Posting the links elsewhere for free access when these games are in fact not free is warez. Hope this quickly explains what's going on.
Please do not post any direct links to the software not direct links to the company as that constitutes advertising for a 3rd party which is against the rules.

It's illegal to obtain this download, unless you have an HD2 that was purchased in that specific region (Dubai, AE).
It's true that not many people who download pirated stuff or warez get caught, but XDA has always been under close investigation by a lot of parties (e.g. Microsoft).
So XDA can't afford to be affiliated with warez in any way.... or they could get some troubles with the law
