Due my ROM adventures here, I have messed up my G3 (wrong SPL upgrade on a test image, funny to see a 2.20.0001 on G3, lol) I need a SD backup image to restore my G3

No problem as long as it boots, I can change it to english later

You probably need to first unlock your G3

Are you sure you have a G3 model ?
If so, please downgrade to this version, try again, and after you are done upgrade back to your own version.

Uploaded. I saw several disconnections but upload file was resumed and finally finished. Hope it works. Use command "psdwrite.exe x: pdamobiz2.3rom.bin" to write to your SD card. Good luck!

Crap,
I've tried the image, but it said "Not allow update!" (nice english too, lol)
I will continue to investigate this problem, in the mean time
Anybody have a clue ?

for the people trying this, you have to press the comm. button on the side to answer the question on "Download SD image"
When you select a threaded conversation that has multiple unread messages and respond only one message is marked unread. In touchflo it still shows unread messages. You have to manually go to each message to mark them read. I know there is a fix for this, but I can't seem to find it.
I'm wondering this as well. I know it works fine on ROMeOS, but haven't had luck with others...

NATF says it's a bug in some of the Windows Mobile builds, particularly one based on a 20xxx build.
You need htmlnote.dll from an aku 1.3.0 ROM - it should be posted in both my thread and NATF's thread - click the paperclip icon to the right of the thread name, in the raphael rom forum, to view all attachments in the thread..

I looked at both those threads and didn't see the attachment for htmlnote.dll. Would you have a direct link? Thanks
I found a 20226 SYS and extracted the htmlnote.dll module. I just flashed it now and it looks to have solved the problem. Thanks!

It is a module so you need to swap it out in the kitchen before you build the rom. There probably is a way to convert it to a dll, which you could make a cab out of.

I used recmod to convert the module into a file. It's in the download link above. You should be able to use total commander to copy and paste this into \Windows. Soft-reset and I'm assuming it will work.

Yes I updated the download link. Inside the zip there is an htmlnote.dll directory. Inside that is the htmlnote.dll that I made from the module. Place only the htmlnode.dll file in your \Windows directory and soft reset.
I tried this and the good news is it worked thanks. The bad news is that now on my sms icon it does not show new message qty when receiving a new message. I do get sound notification, but the voice cmd does not detect the txt and does not play. Any other suggestions,

Nevermind a second soft reset corrected the issue. thanks for providing this fix much happier now!

When I use this, I get a post 2nd-reset side effect - emails won't open. I can see them, but when I select them via the D-pad or stylus/finger, nothing happens.
SMS still works ok.

Flash the rom from the link in the OP and then reboot into the recovery and choose reinstall packages.

now the stock browser showing separated letters, and from left to right !!
the msgs are ok
whats app is ok
email : the headline is ok but when u open the email all the letters are separated and from left to right.

To fix the browser I need to recompile the source. I'm currently working on that. I don't know when I will get done because I don't have the phone handy all the time, but I post it as soon as I'm done.

EASY
*go to this page and follow the steps to install the stock deodxed ROM
*When totally finished, do a Factory reset
*Copy the update.zip file to the INTERNAL SD
*Turn off you phone
*When it is turned off press BOTH volume keys and power until Samsung's logo shows up then let go the power button.
*Choose reinstall packages
it should reboot

If anyone happens to get the upgrade message via ota, please do not upgrade yet.
If you can get the update via motocast, there is a posibility you can extract the flash files and help some people to unbrick there xoom.
If you can get the update via motocast, please use process monitor to track what the update downloads or unpacks.
With some luck we can have the update files.
Feel free to drop me a pm if you want to help.

Thanks for responding in the first place.
First can you check with motocast(on your computer) if it see's the update.
If so please install Process monitor.
Next launch process monitor, then launch the setup until it would actually uprade your device.
Next save the trace. From this trace you can find out which files (temp files)the setup creates and hopefully extract the update or fasboot files.
If you have root on your phone you can open a terminal and do a "find / -name *.zip" and post the results here.
Probably there will be something like ota.zip on your device.
I think It will be in /cache or /misc I guess.
Next you can copy this file to your mass storage and after that to your computer.
If you could upload that file to somewhere and post a link that should be great.
Please also post which version of the MZ608 you have(via about) you should find something like the following things:
1.6.0M-272.12_MZ608_p2HW_BlurRegion02 latam

I received the same binary build texasice prepared before 2013-07-18.

It does not work well.
I present the results of my tests in the attached document LibreOffice.
Very good work TWRP 2.3.1.1 from island3r.
very good recovery.but it seems it maybe have a problem with flashable zips that need choose yes/no.for example : flashing wifix.it shows error about update-binary,but when I boot rom this app/mod has installed!
