CALCULATOR LINK - General Topics

I have accidently deleted my Calculator shortcut from my XDA. How do I put it back? I can't find the Calculator program in order to create the shortcut. I have Total Commander to manage my shortcuts.
Thanks :?:

Adding call log shortcut for 700w

Anyone know how I can add a shortcut to the Call Log program? I have Program Launcher on the Today screen, so I need to know where the shortcut is to add it to Program Launcher.

Try VJPhoneShortcuts.

Re: VJCallHistory
Extracted VJPhoneShortcuts to my Storage card.
Copied VJCallHistory.exe to Program Files.
Executed the program and it just returnes me to the today screen.
Any thoughts?

NOW: you can set cab files to the true icon (package for your Kitchen) and others

hi to all
thanx to all developers here (there are alot so i cant count all of them )
here is a package ready to use which is make cab icons to the true icons.
if you have alot of cab files in the storage you will note that it is very slow in scrolling down, so if you put the package it will make them with the origional icon which make the scrolling very fast
Test it and you will note that
(a little built from me)
also this is Contacts Manager Package
also this is Contacts Manager Package
which is enable select all the contacts an beam or delete all together
anoher useful package
SMSDRFIX
which is match number in the sms to the conact name
SoftKey Changer
it is known from the most, its cpl which is used to change the soft keys
BT_FTP
BT_FTP enables to share folders using bt
maybe you have it but somebody else dont
((ALL THE PACKAGES TESTED))
registry package which associate reg files to TaskManager
registry package which associate reg files to TaskManager
if you have pandora's kitchen and add task manager to edit reg files, you noticed it wasn't associated with the reg files and most do it manualy, so you can associate them directly with this package
also the same with PIM Packup, you can associate all pim backup files directly to PIM Packup
and POCKET RAR the same
((YOU MUST ADD TASKMANAGER, PIM BACKUP, AND POCKET RAR FIRST))
make your roms better and smarter

Clock issues after upgradading WinMo 6.5

Hi guys!
I noticed that the clock (Manila 2.5) has some problems, for instances, after tapping the Quick Menu button or after tapping the home button, seems like the clocks delays and then returns to the actual hour.
Do you have the same problem, do you know how to solve it?
Thanks a lot!
That's not a problem, its a "feature" implemented by HTC to show off their flippy clock
MaxTTM has the ability to do this. It's available on the home layouts under "Flip No Anim"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493011
Thank you very much! Will test it!!
OK, and how can I do the correction of this mistake? Because for me it's mistake, not "feature".
To get rid of flip animation, just unzip and copy this file to your Windows directory.

Thanks, i was looking for it
Im sorry but it doesnt work for me unzipped it in Windows and made read-only but still the problem.
Please look at my picture for device
EDIT
Searched some more and found this cab working for me
You should have just tried using total commander or such, as the built in file explorer will not work for this.

Help with start-menu and HTC Keyboard

I want to hide or remove the home icon in the startmenu since I already have a home button on the bottom of the phone. What can I do to remove it? Also where can I find the default skin for HTC's soft keyboard or at least a cab that can over write it? I am using an HD2, which is WVGA.
Moved as not theme release.
I have looked everywhere for both things and I cant find any solution. Can anyone pitch some insight?

you need to app unlock your device to be able to do delete start-menu items from active sync -> explore -> device -> Windows -> startmenu. Check/search in the appropriate forum for you device for the suitable cab.
Alternatively, If this is a Windows mobile HTC device, I am pretty sure you can do this with the total commander file editor that you install to your phone. I can't post links yet (being a new member) but if you search the forums, you can find the download link for the latest version of total commander.
