Alu case for Qtek 2020 with opening to see who calls - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 Accessories

Hi
I just found an Alu case with an opening so you can see who is calling without opening the case.
It seems to me pretty handy. But I never seen such a case. So I want to know if somebody has any experience with this case, before I'm going to buy it!!
Here is the LINK for the case ...

Nice case
A very nice alu case.
I'm just buying the Proporta.
So I will wait if someone use this one.

I have the proporta now for more than 6 mnths and does the job just fine

I have now a vaja leather case, cause the metal case decreased the gsm signal around 20 %.

I'm using this PDair case for a few weeks now. I like it a LOT!!! My MDA fits perfect. This opening in the cover is great. The position is exactly where the name or caller ID is shown on the MDA.
Before this case I used a Covertec leather case but i had to open it for each incoming call. This PDair case is great, too bad .... i paid much more than € 22,50 :-(

i received my case this morning.
I really loves this case.
I made some pictures and e sort of mini review for people who are interested. But I don't have any webspace to upload it.
If someone is interested in uploading it for me, I can email it to him/her.

review about this alucase....
Thanks to Matt from Mtekk, you guys can see the pics.
Cause he put my review about this case online!!

Hope this helps you guys...

Whats a good leather case for XDA2

I have been looking at the Vaja cases they look ok, but i have heard some really good things about them. Can anyone recommend them?
Can anyone recommend any others, I bought the O2 executive case and its WAY to big and I am just not going to use it, another ebay item to sell.
I've looked at the propta and expansys but there is nothing there I like?
Can anyone help?
I use a Piel Frama case, very good fit, just does the job.
I prefered it to the Vaja, as I did not like the way you have to peel down the back cover to use the camera on the Vaja.
Piel Frama has a hole for the camera lens.
I am 100% satisfied
Regards
Michael
Yep, I have a Piel Frama case too - impressed with the quality and the price. Had one for my previous PDA too, and the case is still in fantastic condition after two years of (ab)use!
Steve
Well i the proporta case, BUT, I als would like a leather case, that can be openend like a book, so no flaps at the bottum or top, so ik looks you´re holding a shoe to you´re face
I have gone for the covertec tan, it looks similar to the VAJA case but it’s a lot cheaper, I have heard that there a lot of problem ordering direct but I order mine through expansys and the are telling me it should be 5 days.
lummac, the O2 leather case opens like a book but is huge.
alright, that is strange, I thought they all had the same cases, my t-mobile one opens at the bottum.
but you'r right, that one looks hudge
Sorry, I have both cases, the one that you have, which came with the phone, and the O2 exective case that I got from expansys which opens like a book, sorry

Very nice cases. I ordered the Vintage Brown one, and it is amazing. A few other colours are available.
Great leather and build quality. Also, you can get 20% off using the following voucher:

Brings them down to a good price. Mine was delivered next working day as well. Pretty incredible considering I am in the UK and they are sent from Turkey.

I agree these are the best cases I have seen. Had my eyes on it for ages and now with the 20% discount there is no stopping me, so I have ordered on myself. Thanks Pal

Noreve cases are very luxuous. I had one for my Touch, for my Nintendo DS and my PSP.
I really love them, very "haute couture"...

Thank you for this link.
Very good looking cases and they are for sure made of leather
(I doubt about the original HTC pouch).
Will order these.
I just got my Vintage brown case too..... Its awesome! felt material on the inside wipes screen clean after each use Although tight in the beginning, it started to slip off easily within the first day of use (but not loose enough to come ven close to falling off)
this slim case looks really awesome
http://www.beyzacases.com/pd-htc-touch-diamond-slimline---vsl16-vertical-leather-case-black.cfm
thanks for the coupon, too
when i heard that the "original" htc case scratched the screen, i cancelled the order immidietly
but does the "slimline" case fit the diamond with the official extended battery?
Anyone have any ideas about how well this would fit a compact iv/victor? I ask as they are pretty similar sizes but then that case does look like a pretty exact fit. anyone know if they have plans to release one specifically for it?
Thanks

I sent them a email and asked . They said it would not work on my sprint diamond. The sprint is 3.89mm thicker then a normal diamond. Diamond is 11.35mm and Sprint Diamond is 15.24mm.

As an alternative, the PDAir flip case fits the Compact IV perfectly (looks best in croc effect).

Since Sprint Diamond comes with 1340 mAh battery and I wonder the thickness is near to the GSM Diamond with the extended battery. It would confuse user to buy custom Diamond flip case or pouch since there are different version of Diamond.

If these are the best cases you found, you havent been looking very hard.
The best cases I found are www.pielframa.com Have a look... I am sure you will agree.
The Piel Frama cases look very nice, but only 1 option if you just want a 'pouch' style case, with no flip cover, belt clip, etc. Got my Beyza case this morning and its great.

I agreed Piel Frama made very good case. I use Touch Pro universal case for my Diamond with extended battery. It is a little bit thicker than my Diamond but with very good leather, stitching and concrete belt clip.
I also use a Piel Frama case for my Diamond and it is absolutely perfect !
Unfortunately, none of these are available for the US Diamond, which uses a 1340 maH battery.

Hi there.
Does anyone know how to buy from these guys? Can't find any internet-shop on their site or something.

Also, can PDair be trusted? This case looks nice.

I love my PDAir Case
Thanks for the answers. I think I'll try to buy PDAair. The problem is I'm from Russia, so I don't know how would they deliver it to me.
Hello
I ordered this book case from PDair in hong kong. The delivery time to Germany was 14 days (to air mail). Without Problems, no custom duties.
I can recommend this case, it is accurately fitted and made in good quality.
PDair can be trusted.

sweet case my friend, no need to worry. I mean free shipping, plus a quality leather keyring was what i got out of the whole deal, um... cant complain hey...
had the book case from PDair for like more than a month now. only complain is that it will begin to lose. it was very tightly fitted when new but now my phone can drop out of the case just by shaking it twice. lol. oh, mine also looking old pretty fast. just more than a month and it's looking rugged. LOL. maybe due to my roughness though.
Great!!!
PDair is a prefect shop which they provide service good and with positive reputation in the would, More than your money's worth
I will recommend it to my friends also.
"Qazer Hi, have anyone this soft silicone case? Is it quality? "
I have bought and used by approximately 15 days is perfect and the material seems excellent.
Translated with Google Translator
Have been using the silicone case for about a month now.
Pros:
-good protection in case you drop the phone,
-the phone is not slippery any more so the chances of droping it are minimized
-better protection in case someone spills a glass of water on the table you have your phone on (personal experience )
-it is virtually impossible to scratch your phone
-the extra size added to the phone is minimall
cons:
-at first the phone is a bit uglier (after a while u get used to it)
-can`t put it in a pocket with the same ease due to the fact that it is not as slippery as before.
-each time you want to remove the back cover (micro sd or sim swapping)
you have to take off the case.
personally i recommend it..
how can i buy a silicon case? only is the corean shipping from ebay the one source?_a
I bought mine from ebay.
As far as i can remember that guy would ship the case worldwide,
so i think there shouldn`t be a problem shipping to Hungary.
Don`t worry about customs because something of such low value
wouldn`t have custom`s charge (at least here in Greece)
silicone case
hi all, i am using the silicone case now...before i was using the pdair pouch...
the pouch offers a better protection to the screen, bt the silicone case is definitely lighter and less bulky.
I am also switching from pdair--it is a very nice, high quality case but as mentioned has a tendency to swivel (especially when getting out of the car) and letting the phone slip out of the case and drop ( happened twice to me with some minor damag3e )-------so also moving to silicone
I also have the silicon case. Shipping was 3 days from Hongkong
to Germany. Bought it @ Ebay.
I also recommend it.

PDair Leather Pouch Vs Sena ultra slim pouch

Hey guys i have found these two as the best for me.
Sena Ultra Slim Pouch
PDair Vertical Leather pouch
but i can't decide between them. i want to know if any of you had previous experiences and which one is the thickest or bigger in general as i don't see dimensions.
Also i am between the following as additional protection:
1) regular cheap screen protectors
2) full body invinsible shield
3) martin fields
if i buy the regular screen protectors are they going to do any work or nothing at all ? just a bunge of plastic onto my screen. In addition i think the invinsible shield is the best protection of all but does it reduce the capacitive screen feedback ????
Thanks for any help

Is this the cheapest place you found the Sena Ultra Slim? I quite like that one as it isnt too bulky and appears to protect the whole phone. Think i'd probably buy one if it was a little cheaper
well i found it on ebay too but i haven't searched along before i decide which one. but yes the main reason i liked it is the size. that's why i want to know how much thicker is the pdair one

I've bought a Sena Nexus One case and the Desire fits very nicely. It does stick out a few millimetres at the top, but the whole point is screen protection, surely? The case is nicely tight, and beautifully made with internal stitching, so the width of the case is only a couple of millimetres more than the phone. It's basic in the sense that you push the phone out from the bottom, and there's no toggles to pull it out, magnetic catches etc., but who cares 'cos it looks very classy - more like a small cigar case than a phone holder!
Incidentally, delivery from Sena is really quick and efficient, and the discount code posted up here somewhere is still valid

Sena Ultra Slim Pouch is near perfect fit! but open edges
PDair Vertical Leather pouch is more bulky and can take more damage but not as nice as the Sena. I also dont like the belt clip on the PDair you can easily squeeze your Desire out and have it go flying
Personal vote is the Sena

+1 I wouldnt mind seeing this too. I found the discount code too, i'll probably end up buying it but want to see what it looks like first if possible.
Would somebody mind posting a pic or two of the phone in the Sena case please?
Also maybe a helping hand in finding that code everyone's talking about?
Search google for 'sena discount code' its the first result. Thats the code I tried, worked when I got to checkout but didnt follow the order through as im waiting for the specific desire one. Wouldnt mind seeing a picture though to see how it fits.

Cheers, Matt. I think I'll be getting the Sena Ultra Slim. Would just like to see how it looks before I order it, now.
Anybody care to oblige?
The dimesions are near identical so id image it'd be a good fit. GSM arena give the following dimensions:
Nexus one: 119*59.8*11.5 mm
Desire: 119*60*11.9 mm
Still, it'd be nice to see a pic to make sure.

So my favorite case manufacturer now has a Nexus One case (after I got a Case-Mate Tough Case!)
Pictures of the case now added! (5/17)

lol yeah and i got the tough case too lol im mad but oh well that will be my back up.
Yeah I can't stand shoving my phone in my pocket haha, I always have had Body Glove, and just love belt clips! Yeah I will probably alternate between the two now, and I am thinking about getting a bestskinsever for it, because my Case-Mate screen protector is getting rough to the touch!
But post your opinions on it please, and I intend to once I get mine!

Already have a flip-down leather case for my N1, the extra length and width are extremely slight...But it more than TRIPLES the thickness. Really do love the case, but it just kills the sleekness.
Ordered up the same DayDeal for 15.90, I like the idea of the hard-case wrapped in grippy silicon. Thanks for the heads up.
New Video from DayDeal
I found a YouTube video from DayDeal giving an overview of the case, and it seems it does come up on the trackball, that or BodyGlove has two versions floating around! You get to see the case installed on a demo phone, and it appears to be quite thin!
Edit: Link is in the 1st Post!
6 Days
Well I got my phone case... took about 6 days including the weekend! I have attached photos to the first post!
Yup, got mine today and I like it. I wish the kickstand were a bit more integrated and flush like Backflip's kickstand for the iPhone:
But my primary reason for the case was protection and grip and this case does a great job on both.
