i m still on wm5 and need to upgrade to wm6 anyone cant tell me how, give me a link or whatever??? ....

READ the WIKI... We cant tell you anything if you dont tell us what kind of phone you have.. or anything.. READ the WIKI.

Given the fact that he just registered to ask for "a link or whatever" I don;t think he really wants it either. Unless he is really tired of his phones and is looking for a new fancy paperweight.

I want to know in details how to format, get the files and install on my iMate K-Jam Windows Mobile 6.0. I ahve been trying for days to research on XDA-Developers with no success... I cant understand... I would appreciate it if u please can take the time and write down for me: step by step, do this an then do that... and provide me with direct links to go and download the files, in a procedure order...

Did you even try to do a basic search on Google before asking this? Go here and look for it.

you just pretend tha you have wm5 and go to the place there you can uppgrade wm5 and flash
i think thats this is the way

What is suggested that you go to imate ftp download original rom and run RUU (upgrade) you OS. you will be back to WM5 ( no rocket science involved)

Assistance required - Upgrade i600

Howsit peeps!
I wanna ask someone to guide me trough to upgrade my Samsung i600 to WM 6.1. (I sooo badly wanna do it!)
I upgraded a few ROM of different devices without any problems.
When i tried Nokser's first i600 release, i bricked my phone. I dunno what happened, but there was no radio. I gave it into a repair centre, and they had to replace PCB......... thats why im sceptical.
This is what i have:
Samsung i600 Stock WM6.0 ROM
PDA version:
i600UJCGJ3
Phone version
i600UJCGJ3
Eboot:
i600UJCGJ3
Windows Mobile 6 Standard:
CE OS 5.2.1437 (Build 17944.0.3.1)
Can someone please guide me here, if all this makes sence?

Hi there Nokser, my phone has WM6 on it already?
The last time i tried to flash your ROM, it would not boot past the "Ultra messaging" screen, and was stuck there.....
I tried the other way mentioned in that thread where i had to add the XXGG2 phone and boot thing, thats where my radio died.......
Can anyone comment on this?
(Heheheh, i dont wanna brick my device again..............lol)

just keep the stock 6.0. I upgraded a few times to 6.1 but it was too buggy and I really liked the card wheel.

I only use this as a secondary phone, i want the Sliding panel features......
I just dont want to brick my device again....
I wonder why the first upgrade did not work properly.....i did everything as said, and the phone then didt want to pass the "Ultra messaging" screen......
But if so, i will rather keep stock WM6.0, i hoe someone can point me into the right direction....

Ooooooh, btw! I have the Card Wheel as a .cab file works on WM 6.1 Aswell ive heared. I dont take credit for this, i only found it with some hard Googling:

Hi everyone.I'm new to windows mobile.
I want to upgrade my omnia 2 to 6.5.but i don't know how.
I live in a country that pcstudio wont update my phone.so i have to do it manually.
the things i want is a good,official and preferably newest 6.5 rom and the flasher and a good well explained tutorial.Can anyone help me?
And another question:what is this omnia 2's cooked rom that they took from hd2?is it good?does it have another way to be installed?

Samsung offers free upgrade from WM6.1 to WM6.5.
You can upgrade Omnia 2 via PC Studio. Get it from samsung's website.
