New Bluetooth Headset specificly manuf'd for XDA11... - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 Accessories

I've heard that a Bluetooth headset is to be released soon which is designed by XDA or O2 (service provider) specifically made for XDA11. Anyone know more?

Nope, nope and, erm, nope.
Not to my knowledge matey (work for O2).
No real need to as the majority of headsets work fine with the XDA II, even the sony ericsson BT car kit!

XDA II Support Bluetooth Headset Profile?

Does anyone know if the XDA II will finally support the bluetooth headset profile? That is basically the main reason I traded my XDA for a Sony Ericsson P800.
It probably will, the bluetooth app in WM2003 looks capable of associating with a wide variety of bluetooth devices.
It works!
I got a T-Mobile MDA II for testing and tried different BT HEadsets
all worked.
P.S. There will be a pack back with VGA Out
Any original headphone with your MDA II? Is it the same as the XDA I? :?:

I spoke to O2 about this. The xda II supports the bluetooth headset profile but NOT the bluetooth handsfree profile. So bluetooth car kits won't work.
They did say it would be fixed in the next ROM upgrade for xda II.
Supported BT Profiles:
Audio: Headset-AG
Internet/LAN: DUN-DT
Serial-DevA
Serial-DevB
OPP Client
Generic: GAP SDAP
I have XDA II works with Parrot CK-3000 BT Carkit but I am not able to use the Belkin BlueTooth Access Point to access to Internet. XDA II dont have Lan Access Profile

Jabra 200 works fine. Although on occasion I have to re-pair the device. It still shows on the list of paired devices but does not work. This happens once or twice a week.

Anyone from Melbourne with a bluetooth headset?

Hi Guys,
I just wanted to know if there was anybody here from Melbourne, Australia that has a bluetooth headset. Just wanted to ask a few questions.
I dont have a head set but I have a BT car kit that uses the bt headset profile.
If you have an XDA2 I would appreciate being able to see if it will conect to my car kit. I want to get the XDA2 if it will work with the kit in my car.
Shoot me a PM if you can help.
Cheers
Jon
I tested XDA II working well with Parrot CK-3000

I have an HTC TYTN II with the same problem paired with my plantronics but after installing btaudio.cab I can listen to music with my plantronics but it doesnt work with my OMNIA maybe because my HTC was using WM6 with WM6.1 for omnia.
I already did update from samsung but still the same problem..

No it's samsung fooling around and/or missing this one. I had no problems with my fuze and other HTC devices
If you have a i900, go to modaco.com:
http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-...ld-21725-21028-with-bt-audio-fix-31-may-2009/
and read like crazy and then flash your phone and then use this:
BTASP.CAB (23.1 KB)
to turn on the audio routing. make sure that you pair your device 1st. works for me
if have a i910, i can't help you
BTW, modaco is much better than xda developers with omnia stuff...

hello,
some headsets don't support A2DP so you can only use them for talking. I have a GGTelecom headset(dont know if that brand is good or not) and it supports A2DP so i can listen to my music with media player. if it's only one ear, it probably dont support A2DP.

[Q] Samsung SGH-T959V and compatible Bluetooth receivers for car audio?

As subject indicates, I have a Samsung SGH-T959V. I'm running T-Mobile Gingerbread 2.3.6 (stock) that was released in November 2011.
I'm in the market for a Bluetooth receiver for the car but as of this moment I've found *zero* Bluetooth receivers that list the SGH-T959V in their compatibility lists. I've looked at Sony (e.g. MEX-BT2900), JVC/Kenwood, Alpine, and so forth, and not a single one of these Bluetooth receivers list the SGH-T959V! What?!
Also, I'm looking for a Bluetooth receiver that costs no more than $250. I don't want/need something super awesome/super expensive, just a receiver that supports both sending audio and handling calls via Bluetooth. If the SGH-T959V is supported by one of the more expensive receivers I'd be interested to know about it but probably wouldn't buy. ;-)
Looking at the (listed) spec for Bluetooth on both the SGH-T959V and on all of the receivers I've mentioned I don't see why the SGH-T959V wouldn't be compatible but I'd rather not spend a couple hundred dollars on a Bluetooth receiver only to use it for its aux port (which I already have in the existing factory-installed radio).
Would love to hear recommendations about what's worked for you and your experiences!
Hi
Maybe I misunderstood you, but
all new phones support BT EDR 2.1 DSP. The exact model should not be listed on BT device, rather the technology standard should be specified on phone spec. I personally use 3 different receivers with T959V and they all work flawlessly.

Thanks for your response!
You are correct that the technology standard is specified on both the phone and the receiver and they DO match up. What bugs me is that Sony (for example) also provides a compatibility chart and the SGH-T959V does not appear on it. :-(
Which receiver(s) do you use in your car?
I ended up testing on a Sony M series and it worked great. Just had to calibrate the bt first. Phone and Google Music via bt were both good as were controls on head unit.

PIONEER AVIC F700BT How To Stream Music

http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/GPS-Navigation/AVIC-F700BT
Hi Guys,
I've had this In-Dash Navigation for several years now and back then, almost everything was only compatible with iOS. Now that I own a nexus5, the only way I can play music is through AUX cable. Does anyone out there own this In-Dash Navitation and know of a way to stream or play music with any Android phone?
I know this is way off topic but it's been driving me nuts and the XDA community is awesome and knowledgeable.
Thank you,
You can use bluetooth can't you?

Bluetooth only works to make and receive calls. I was thinking if there was a way to Mod the unit.

I have the Pioneer AVIC-X910BT, pretty much similar to yours.
It's not a "clean" looking option, but I have a Sony Ericsson MW600 Bluetooth adapter, and a short male to male headphone audio cable. Here is a link to the item I am using:
