this might be a very stupid question but I could not find a solution:
I am using SmallMenuPlus as taskmanager and startmenu-replacement and I really like it. There is only one annoying thing: There is no settings-shortcut in the SmallMenu-startmenu and I have absolutely no idea how to manually create it.
Any clues?

hey guys, this is what i'm trying to do:
when i go to contacts tab, when i click on all people, it opens up the default contacts program. i want it to open another program (finger friendly friends). how do i do that? i downloaded diamond TF3D config, and it doesnt seem like you can do that... any ideas? thanks

Check the iContact thread because I think this question was asked. I.e. if you hit the phone button and then "contacts" it will load iContact, however from the people tab it won't. I'm not sure they ever resolved that problem, but if they did, please post the response here, because iContact seems like a much better program (and the scrolling is the best I've seen on Windows Mobile...)
i didnt find anything (a link to that thread would be nice). but i'm thinking a simple registry edit would suffice??
hi everyone, sorry about this question if it has been answered. i did search since yesterday with variations in search words and nothing. ive always searched and have been able to find my answers before... i think this is even my first post lol
how do i remove a factory installed application if it does not appear on the remove programs list??? please im ready to throw it out the window! the app doesnt work... reinstalling didnt help, now i have two of the same program one with a (1) extension. and now they both cant be removed! and i have two of these phones too. want to remove it from both. especially from one, because its for my son.
i cant ignore it... its like ocd or something.
your help is greatly appreciated. please.
If it is "cooked" into the rom and it does not appear in the "remove programs" then you cant.
really?? jeez dont tell me that... its gonna drive me nuts. how do uncook it? its actually that stupid OZ messenger program. grrrrrr! now i have two on my phone... =/
i had it on the previous touch before and was able to remove it completely. this sucks!

The term "cook" means the individual that customized the rom wanted that software installed. Once the OEM file is placed, there is no way for the average joe to remove that. However you might be able to use a file explorer program and remove the shortcut from the programs menu, it will not be "un-installed", just hidden.

There are a few things you can do
Just delete the shortcuts in \Windows\Start Menu\Programs (not the best answer...)
Install a different ROM without the app (eg. ROMeOS by Monx is very vanilla)
Advance Users: Use a kitchen to rebuild the ROM
Hi, sorry if I bother you with my (maybe) stupid issue, but i would like to set a software (BTAudioNav) in the last page of m2d, but: considering I've not installed it, it is NOT in the list where I can chose the application.
Is there a way to solve this problem or to set one hardware button to run this application?

Hey guys, it seems that my Google Search Key (Magnifying Glass) doesn't work. To be honest I have a feeling that I accidentally deleted the file using Astro. I need to know how I can put this feature back on my phone so that I can have google back on the softkey.

I would like to know whether one could copy the Samsung app SmartStay to another non-Samsung device. Did someone already tried this?

If I would like to code this myself, do you see any big issues? Of course, I need a phone with a front camera but are there other prerequisites? Has anyone already coded something like this?
