As per title?
Now that Towa has resolved the BT GPS problem ( ), wanting to try and use my XDA2 with the above car-kit.
Thanks
Wouldn't bet on it working.
Most of the car sets use the Handsfree Bluetooth profile, which is not supported by the XDA II.
I wouldn't bet on it either

i did .....it works fine with My i - mate ( XDA 2 ) and it will use the Headset profile
i think it dose the job
Regards
the sony hbh 30 bluetooth car kit works fine with the xda 2 becouse it supports both the handsfree and carkit profiles.
I have one in my car and also have fitted about 15 others all for xda2 users all worrking spot on.
I tryed the new stack it worked o.k. You could answer a call on the car kit or my hbh 60 headset or the phone its self.
Redial the last number also worked via B/T but as per other postings i would run out of battery power by about 4.30 pm whereas nomally i only get to 40% by 10pm with B/T on all day and about 1 hour off calls and minor gprs use.

Hi,
I'm looking for a wired headset with a 3.5mm jack and multimedia buttons. NO BLUETOOTH..
I had the rc-e100 or something, the black one... but it was a broken model.. its crap! i had it for two months and it kept on sucking more and more..
the shop said more people had the same problem:
keys on the remote didn't work. so they took it back and i got my money back...
Now i'm looking for a different one, does anyone have any ideas?
I use that exact same one. For me it's perfect! Good sound an no problems after a few months! (hope it stays that way)
I'm affraid your only other option is the U110 (wich lacks the buttons) as i don't know of an other remote with multimedia-buttons like the e-100. (at least not an official HTC product)

i already bought the e100... couldnt find ANYTHING else...
wish they'd make more kinds of 'em...
but on the good side this one is working correctly for the past 7 hrs of listening music and a 8 minute call.. hope it will work a long time...
i dont get why there is only ONE kind of remote.. and only from htc, its a windows mobile cellphone so if other brands would make headsets that use miniusb it would sell i think... this one is kind of bulky, i had the sony ericsson hpm82 (i think) and it was perfect (with my old SEk750)
hope some manufacturer reads this

Is it functioning perfectly with Nexus 4? Any cons u came across?
I am also looking for a budgeted Bluetooth headset in market for my Nexus 4.. Can't decide really. The reviews are so different for all.
It works perfectly with my One X, But not tested on the Nexus 4, it must.
Hummm for cons I don't know, it depends if you want to listen to music and call all the day it's 7-8 hours in call battery.
But very fast to connect, impressive.
I like it
Today I opened my shiny new Jaybird Bluebuds X and going through the manual, I ran into this little feature:

There's an app that can read the battery level on Plantronics headsets, why is there no app that can do this for others? Windows Phone apparently is able to read this too. The only big Bluetooth Headset battery app for Android calculates it based on connection time. I was never able to use it properly with my older Jaybird Freedom headphones because I was always losing the data and/or forgetting to run it to start tracking the usage.
I know this is a Nexus 5 thread, but I'm just wondering if anyone has found a way to get this on Android, or would be interested in getting a bounty going. I'll be happy to pledge some money towards this, being pretty much clueless about app development.
It's not that big of a deal, but the battery warning on these Jaybirds is very annoying, beeping constantly when it's about to run out. Nothing that a consistent charging schedule can't fix, and with a regular micro USB connector, a quick charge in the car will keep them charged up.
I'm just sad that we're missing on a tiny but cool feature.
hi.
i have UMI Super for about 4 months.
until now i was able to make calls with BT headset
suddenly, i don't know what happened, even when the BT is connected to the device i can't make calls via the BT headset.
i see that the problem is that the "phone audio" is unchecked
(under Bluetooth settings->the paired device settings)
(see the attached photo)
but when i press it, it does not become checked.
i don't know why i can't check it.

Greetings and welcome to assist. Have you tried unpairing/resetting the bluetooth device or factory resetting the phone ?

Hello people, I'm trying to connect the stereo to a special BT device of the car that I use to tune, with this device I see specific gauges and I can configure the original ecu of the car for whatever I want, with the cell phone I managed to connect without drama, but with the application from the stereo I can not, does not even recognize the BT signal of the device, even a friend with an iPhone the same thing happens, what could it be?
The device is a jb4.
Thanks!

No. The built-in bluetooth is for phone calls only.
Use USB devices for tuning instead

Oh I see, there is any way to change that with software or change de BT module on the unit?
I just found out that the device I want to connect to is of type BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy),
Any ideas?
