Hello, You aren't allowed to post you email apparently and it has been removed.
Making this forum the only way for us to help you.
First of all you should ensure wether you have a MileStone (EU) or Droid (US)
You can tell by looking at your phone and checking if it says Verizon.
If it does, I can't help you any further and you should ask for help in the Droid forums. If it doesn't, I'm close to sure we can help you out
So now that you know which phone you have, you've probably done half of the work already. I can't really tell what your problem is, but I guess you have these 2 issues:
1, You have no GPS-Application. You can buy, or get one for the phone. I'm talking about softwares like Navigon and iGo, which aren't free though, but allow you to navigate without internet (for if you don't have an internet contract.)
If you don't want to pay any money and own an internet subscribtion in your contract, you can just use Google Maps to navigate! Update it through the android market and you're good to go!
2, Now for the second issue:
Unfortunately we don't have any chance of getting custom roms! Only the Motorola Droid Does! There is a way through nandroid backups, but seen the fact that you are just new to the whole thing, I'd recommend you to explore the forums and later on install MotoFrenzy, or the official update to Froyo from motorola, which they will, according to them, release by the end of 2010

I really wanna help sgs4g forum, I was thinking how can we make the system read one sd... What I did so far is change modem to t959v change sdptool to the sgs4g one and put the boot video back. It should work in theory if we fix sd problem cause I got a lot of people downloading it from me on the vibrant forum. I hope this forum would like it...

I have an HTC EVO and was wondering if anyone knew of any software that I could download on my phone and not my target's phone (which is also an android) and make their phone a bug so I can listen in on conversations, not record them. I downloaded EazySpy, but I cant seem to get it to work. If anyone knows how to get this to work, detailed, step-by-step instructions for windows 7 would be great.

So, I have just received my replacement SGS3. Now I need to unlock the boot loader and root as usual. Problem, PC just died. Have no access to another one that I would be aloud to load ADB and any other programs that will be needed to accomplish this on. Is there any one in here that has a good and strong reputation with the community that lives preferably between Providence, Worcester an d Boston that could help me out? Preferably if you have a laptop and wouldn't mind meeting up let's say at a DD? I buy the coffee and meal. Or if you truly do not care, I am willing to go to you. But prefer not to go that route. Any way, help would be greatly and utterly appreciated. Also, I looked around to see if this was OK to post in this part of the forums. I didn't see anything that stated that I could not. And it does seem to be the logical choice as far as I can see. Though if I am wrong, please lead me to the proper location for future reference. Not that I want to have to do this again. Any way, hope to hear from some one.

Ok. So this post must have been dead in the water before it began. Not sure why. But oh well. Any way. Can some one delete this after today. But not before midnight. Reason being is because I am driving to East Providence, Yarmouth and then Cambridge for work today. So if some one out there in one of those areas sees this and is willing to help, then that would be great. I am sending my old phone back to Verizon tomorrow. So this will not be needed as of midnight.
