does the gps mouse is compatible also with xda2 ? - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 Accessories

i have an xda with a gps mouse reciever
i want to buy the new xda2
and i dont now if to sell my gps mouse
does anyone now if it is the same connection cable ??
thanks

Depends which mouse you have. There are several on the market such as Haicom that need only the purchase of an integrated lead/car charger, if you have one of this type you will be able to use your mouse on laptop/pc and also XDA.

Consider buying GPS Mouse with bluetooth!
XDAII should work with any Mouse with it.

the Digitravel GPS mouse works perfect with the Xda, and is very cheap. ou can make your own cable, for a tutorial, visit yorch.net

Hello,
i'm not sure, but i think that the tomtom wired mouse has one
Sincerely,
The TomTom wired mouse certainly has an RJ11 connector. I think this is just a rebadged Leadtek GPS mouse, try looking for one of those.

Using pda GPS on a pc

Hi all.
I'm considering getting a diamond but I guess this question applies across a number of the devices.
I have a carpc at the moment with no usb gps dongle. Can I make the gps available to the pc via usb or bluetooth if I get a diamond?
Just trying to sort out money for the diamon (its nice but expensive!), having not to buy a usb dongle would be a great help.
Cheers all.

This should work for you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=373107. A quick search would have found it .

Mouse on TouchPro

I have a CDMA TouchPro and I just ordered a TV Out cable. I searched for bluetooth mouse input software and found BlueInput.
http://www.teksoftco.com/index.php?section=bluemouse
Its looks really awesome but I dont have my TV Out cable (yet) nor do I have a bluetooth mouse. I was wondering if anyone could confirm if this software works on the TouchPro and more specifically does it work while in TV Out mode? It has a 14 day trial so if anyone could try it and let me know so i can go buy a mouse that would be awesome!
I tried this with a Trust Mi-8700rp mouse on a touch pro and the mouse worked - although it sometimes left a trail of multiple cursors dotted on the screen. With an igo stowaway keyboard and video out cable it would almost be like using a PC.
awesome. I would assume that it works fine with video out. I guess Ill have to get a mouse and keyboard when I get my cable.

[Q] A dock or some way to use external monitor, keyboard, and mouse?

HI all,
I've been realizing lately that my Nexus 5 does just about everything I need anymore. I hardly ever need a PC for anything except for the full size monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
Now, I think I can use USB OTG and connect a Mouse and keyboard. But, is there a way to connect an external monitor as well?
I see that there is a Docking station for Samsung Galaxy phones that seem to do what I'm asking, here:

I've googled but cannot figure out if there is anything out there that would work for my Nexus 5. Does anyone have any suggestions?
externally powered USB hub. I used my friends once, had a hdmi output also and it worked flawlessly. (and by externally powered, i mean one that draws power from an outlet, not the phone itself)

Best bet is Bluetooth keyboard/mouse and use a HDMI out dongle and plug the phone into a wall outlet.

Now that sounds like a good idea.
Are you sure I can connect a keyboard and mouse over Bluetooth at the same time?

One way to find out... could also just get a keyboard with built in mouse like this or find one of these.
For android 4.4.2 and up use Chromecast for video& audio with HDMI monitor with speakers and Bluetooth for keyboard and mouse. Need sw app Andromium OS and/or Kodi too.
