Can anyone please let me know it the XDA EXEC or the same model with a different name, dose support USB Host.
I would like to be able to copy data from my SD Card to another SD card using a mini USB card reader. pluged into the Exec, We do a lot of this at the moment with our XDA2i, but we have to copy files to the 60mb in-built storage from our SD card, then swop over the SD card and copy it back, Problem being if 1 file is over 60mb we cant do it.
can i do this with a Exec and a USB card reader?

The HTC or this for Fujitsu Siemens?

Yes, the driver fujitsu siemens works in Samsung SGH-I600 WM6 and it does not have problems of wifi and active sync, working all

Does it needs a hard reset of the device when applying?
Can you removed it afterwards if something gets wrong?

Not hard reset only it requests to reinitiate device, after installing to driver, and it is possible removed in removing programs.

Now I'm having 2GB Sandisk micro sd card, if I apply this SDHC driver, this card (2GB non SDHC) will work with no complications, isn't so?
I make a test now with one microsd 256mb and she recognizes, no problem
Hey guys - Thanks a million for this. I installed on my blackjack WM5 and works fine. However, it is only showing 4gb total storage - Is there something I need to do differently to make the full 8Gb available?
I am guessing I will need to upgrade to WM6 - If so, can anybody point me in the direction of the upgrade for an Australian version? I have checked the promotion site http://www.samsungmobile.com/promotion/i600/index.jsp but Australia is not listed and my version number i600DTGE2 doesnt work.

I have a small problem, my i600 doesn't see sd cards at all. I was hoping this driver would help but it doesn't. My phone always worked, and than suddenly it doesn't show a card anymore.
I tried on WM5, WM6, 2 microSD cards (1gb and 2gb), and an HDSD 8gb card, but still nothing

Files like xxx.cab you must instal on your device, you nothing unzip just instal on your device ....

just start the smartphone without it. install driver from phone memory.// it gonna helps u

Hi Mr.juanfervs, I hope u can help me out; recently I tried to upgrade my i600 WM5 to WM6. and successfully downloaded the upgradation by WCED downloader; after the phone tried to restart & stuck up at 'Ultra Messagling'. from here the usb connection failed the PC to recognize the phone. Can you tell me 1. how can make connection between my phone and the PC; 2. how can I restart my phone and 3. how can I revive my phone. Thanks

I'm installed ICS Alpha 4.01 for Samsung Galaxy S I9000
with Fugu Kernel. Okay my 3G network and Touch is running god but i cant connect with my phone to Computer. My computer detects a sd card but cant open it. and my smartphone tells me none. when the problem is known, if so how do I fix it?

ICS does not support USB mass storage. I know with the official version you use MTP (media transfer protocol) but I'm not sure if it works with custom builds.
One way around this is if you have an micro SD card adapter and SD card slot on your computer.

I tried too many times to read my micro sdhc card 16go through computer, mobile phone and other devices but no way it didn't work either.
It only works on the nokia 500. So i plugged the phone computer and I formatted the card in fat32 but it didnt work to be readable on other devices than the nokia 500.
Does anyone have an idea or issue to fix it please?

It may be the way it was initially formatted. The only thing I can think of off hand is an sd card reader

Thanks for reply, I also tried with an sd card reader, it's the same problem. Could Nokia set a protection on the sdhc card ?? If yes, I've just lost an sdhc card to be used on other devices....

Connect your sd card to computer with card reader and start command prompt.
Type the following:
cd chkdsk [sd card drive letter] /r
This will Scan for and attempt Recovery of bad sectorsor
cd chkdsk [sd card drive letter] /f
this will Automatically Fix file system errors on the disk
Try these commands and see whether the problem is fixed or not/

SOLUTION :
In the nokia storage's options, just click for 2seconds on the SD CARD STORAGE and it will appear an list of option as "delete password". I've just deleted the password which was put to get an private storage. That's why i could'nt use my sd card on other devices.
Now i can use my SDHC card on all devices that support it
I have an 8GB micor Sd card. In a card reader on my computer it is not recognized. In android devices it is recognized, but says that there is an error. Formatting does not fix the issue, and the phone will not mount it. Any thoughts?
Did you already tried another computer ? There may be a driver issue.
You could go to the website or your brand computer and download the newest drivers (Chipset)
There are some possible reasons
<OL>
<li>drivers for sd card host adapters not installed</li>
<li>sd card or sdcard mounter on phone/pc is broken</li>
</OL>
Best solution: buy a new sd card...there may be several detailed methods to fix this too

Not the drivers, other sd cards work fine. Not the phone, my 32gb micro works fine in that. So, I mean, thanks guys. But, I have tried all of those.
