Hey, I have asked this question in Xiaomi eu forum but had no answer...
I have a 12S Ultra on MIUI 14 and I want to use Google Alarm clock app, except it seems to be killed in memory and I miss important alarms.
Is there an ultimate way to keep it in memory ? (I have set it to auto start and no battery restrictions already)
Otherwise I could use MIUI alarm clock, but then it doesn't show on my Galaxy watch 4, why ?

the difference between the SGS and the SNS is that the SGS phones use the Touchwiz framework, so my understanding would be that in order to get the clock ported over you would also need the relevant section of the framework for it to even work
It's what I was afraid, is there any replacement for standart clock it's poor to say the least ok for the moment but would need to do something with it, there is a talk of porting some of TW codecs over to support more media playback.
Any other info would be apiciated
Doues anyone elese has any input?

I tried Alarm Clock PlusV2 based on your recommendation in another thread.
Doesn't work properly on my phone.
I can set an alarm just fine, and I can hear the alarm tone just fine when selecting which one to use, but when the alarm actually goes off, the sound is always so muted I can't hear it unless I hold it up to my ear. I uninstalled it because of this.
No such problem with the stock alarm clock.
that's interesting yet odd...
since it uses the system audio
or you can select from another source if you have apps like Ring Droid installed
also you can select between normal vs. gentle
then for each of those you can select between Ring Tone vs. Music
both me and my wife phone have it installed, and it's loud and clear

Yeah, it's really weird. I only use system ringtones when testing it. I almost never use and alarm clock, my internal one works pretty damn well, but if I'd been relying on this app during my testing, I would have certainly overslept.
I'm using one of the sense style clocks by factory widgets, the glass style one in particular, easily found in the market.
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
I am running a fairly stock Rom that's fully rooted. Can anyone tell me how to get the stock alarm to use an increasing volume? Is there a Rom i can download and extract the clock app to add this feature? I want to start using the stock app rather than say alarm+ due to its integration with google now.

Google now will ask you what alarm app you want to use the first time. So you can use pretty much anything. I use circle alarm.
You may have to go into settings ...apps...go to all apps. Find the stock clock app and click it and clear defaults. Then if you have another alarm app, Google now will ask which you want to use.
If I completely misunderstood your post...apologies.
Hey Guys,
I can get up only with the help of Alarm but as I think technical so always try to do some new with apps.
So are there any extra ordinary apps available ?
You are requested to suggest me.
There are so many applications can be got by Google.
Or I believe someone will definitely suggest you as we are in XDA forum.
Hey thanks dude for suggesting me but I won't get a real review of the app on the Google.
these days there are lots of app release over play store so you can search on google as your need, like i am using A.I Awake alarm clock app which is recently release.
Dude !! I am impressed but you should Google with this and you will get many more apps. :cyclops:

Hi everyone, it's my first post here so please go easy on me
I'm diving into Tasker (V5.6) on my Samsung Galaxy S8 (Android V8.0) and trying to fire a task on my weekday morning alarm (using Android Clock-Alarm V7.0.92.4).
I have multiple alarms throughout the week, so I need to drill down to a specific alarm (not just any alarm..)
Does anyone know how to do this with Tasker?
I'm aware that Tasker Profile can be configured with time & date conditions but i'd prefer to use the alarm at this point.
Thanks in advance,
E-Steve
This is kind of an odd one. Why not just use day of the week and time, possibly us it as the alarm instead of the default clock? Anyway the only thing that I can think of, and I'm not sure it would work for what you want just because we don't know what you want the result to be... but if you downloaded a stand alone alarm clock that app opening could be used for a trigger. But then you have a special app, taking up memory, using resources, being used for one thing only, to trigger this one event. You can put profile toggles on your home screen if your reasoning is because there will be days you won't use this alarm event, but that's just me thinking without knowing what you want to do.
Thanks for your reply!
I take your point that it's easiest to just use the Tasker profile date/time instead.
And toggling it from the home screen is a good idea!
Thanks again

Hi everyone, I haven't found thread on this or maybe I missed it. I'm currently using Mate 20 Lite and thinking of buying P30. I've set up everything I had to regarding notifications, battery,.. but I still don't get numbered icon badges on snapchat, gmail and few others. I know that they are not somehow officially supported and I would like to know are they working on the P30 because I use a lot of apps and I need to see almost every notification so if someone who uses these apps the same way I do, please post a screenshot. Thank you...
