I have OnePlus 7 pro with latest update 11.0.8.1
I am not able to play video in Netflix or prime video. The netflix app just get stuck at splash screen. The prime video does open but plays videos in SD quality
The widevine certificate is still showing as a L1 but the system ID is 0. I have tried resetting the device, installing the update again via local upgrade. Nothing has worked it now.

I was watching videos on youtube via the youtube app, when the video stopped working, but the sound was still playing fine. I did the update through the LG update tool, so I am running GB 2.3.3 and the phone is not rooted ..... anyone else?
and btw, the camera is not displaying live on the screen (just black screen) either (but can take pictures and view them)
yes i used other video players with the same result
I also cleared the cache (no result) .... and did restart the phone, which seemed to fix the problem for couple of minutes.
I wasn't able to find too much info on google about it (that's why I am posting here) .... and yeah, I am aware of the problems G2x had/has ...
Hi -- Has anyone managed to get the Kindle Fire app (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19409230&postcount=10) working on the Nexus One? I'm running into two issues trying to run it on mine (I'm on CyanogenMod 7.0.3 Gingerbread):
1. When I try to stream or purchase a video, I get a message that says: "Your voice is no longer configured correctly to play Amazon videos. You may purchase this video, but playback will be disabled on this device." This error is apparently associated with rooted phones, but even when I unroot my phone (using Voodoo OTA RootKeeper), I get the same message.
2. I can't log in. When I try, I just a message that says: "an error has occurred. Please try again"
Any ideas? The app works great on my friend's Sensation, but can't cope with my CyanogenMod-running Nexus One.
I just bought this TF700 today. I updated all the firmware and everything. It does not stream netflix. Loads netflix. Will not stream a video. I get error 12001 every time. Is this a known thing with this device or is it the Android version or what? This is one of the primary reasons I picked up this tablet. I'm contemplated returning it tomorrow and would like to know if there is some kind of work around. I just can't find any good info on it.
Thanks,
Wes

Just thought I would update on this. Some miraculous thing occurred and it just works now. I uninstalled and rebooted for about the 40th time and Netflix is working now. I have no idea what the issue was but it was something...
If anyone else has this problem, this is what I did this last time.
I went into the settings > apps and force stopped netflix then uninstalled all updates. I then rebooted. Then I went into settings > apps (make sure it's on ALL) and found the netflix thing that comes on the device. I force stopped it and then rebooted again. At this point I downloaded the Netflix updates, rebooted one more time and ran netflix. Now it works. Hallelujah!
I had a problem with netflix when I factory reset the tablet and when I tried to sign in it kept saying I enter wrong username or password..... Did it 10 times and nothing, tried to log on to my netflix on the computer and it worked fine... Only thing I can think of is I forgot to update netflix when I factory reset.. maybe that was the problem...
Try setting your DNS server in your router to Google DNS https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/
I have a brand new 128gb Pixel from Google, activated on Verizon. When I try to take a video it instantly stops, sometimes it will save a 0 second video. Restarting and changing resolution don't seem to help. Anyone experience this or heard about this? Is it possible that another app I have installed is breaking my video recording?
FYI: I had the same issue with my Droid Turbo 2 and is the main reason for replacing the device.
UPDATE: After working with Google Support I've determined that the video will record in apps like Snapchat or Instagram, but not in 3rd party camera apps. The video will also record in safe mode. I'm assuming there must be an issue with another app I have installed so I uninstalled every "normal" picture/video app like Skype, Instagram, Duo, ect and the issue still remains.
Hi !
I searched but couldnt find my problem.
I recently updates to Android 7 with Rogers version. Every since then, I am having problem playing any type of video. It will work then for some reason it won't. Phone gets sluggish, I have to restart but sometimes the problem is still there.
When I can't play videos, I can't play any and I get no error message, the video just never loads and freezes the phone until I force quit the app.
The problem impacts all videos : Snapchat, Instagram, Videos have recorded, videos in Chrome, and even gifv.
I cleared the system cache but that didn't do much.
Does anyone have a solution or a similar problem ?
Thanks !
You have facebook messenger installed? That may be the problem as it is mine and another person's.
