Pixel 4a is offering better ui and 3 years of software update but with 730g. X2 pro is offering 855+ with 90hz refresh rate screen.Confused between them as need a phone for 3 years of use
My priorities - performance,camera,longevity
Camera you will always win with Pixel.
Performance the Pixel 4a is great as far as I can see, my other phone is One Plus 7pro and in day to day use I do not see much of a difference.
Pixel 4a 3 years of updates is a big deal for me, yes I will likely get a Pixel 5a or Pixel 6 in a year or year and a half but monthly patches seeing to next Android OS first it worth it.
I have not googled the X2 pro, is it $350 USD ?
Definitely the 4a.
Every reviewer is surprised about the 730g, i myself am too. I also have seen several benchmarks where you can see that the 730g is almost as fast as the 765g.
My recent devices are OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro, Mi9 and OnePlus Nord and the difference with the 4a is really minimal. I have the 4a for 2 days now and i love it!
Good to be back on stock Android, this is my first Pixel after the Nexus era.
And if camera is a important factor then the 4a is definitely your best choice.

Will 730g be good for 3 years of use? I’m concerned with its performance.
If anyone could also tell me the update policy of x2 pro...... Like for how much year will it receive updates ?

Lol. While not 'flagship' caliber the 730g is still potent and will certainly be relevant longer than most other chip sets. In 2-3 years there will likely be many other drivers enticing a new purchase; 4a feeling underpowered probably won't be one of them.

I am sure the phone will work fine in 3 years, I tell you now I do not hold on phones for 3 years and when 5G is fully implemented I will want a 5G device.
I google the specs ... it is a year old and you are worried about obsolesce ?
They say you can upgrade it to Android 10 ? Nothing about Android 11.
It is more expensive.
Yes it has a Snapdragon 855+, I own a OnePlus 7Pro is has 855 and I do not regret the speed of the Pixel 4a
The wife and i are looking to upgrade from our pixel 2 and 2 xl. I'm pretty annoyed that no current pixel offerings have a 1440p screen like my 2 xl, but I've otherwise been so happy with my pixel that I'm willing to make the concession.
The pixel 5 doesn't really wow me at all. Honestly, the only feature i really like is the water resistant. I hate these curved screens. But I'm a little confused about the 5g antennas. I know Verizon's 4a 5g will be mmwave, but does that mean it will have identical 5g performance to the pixel 5? Same speed, latency, and handoff to lte (in theory)? The pixel 5 lists many more 5g bands, but most are low frequency, which Verizon can't even use, right? Need some clarification here. Thanks.

Hi all
I am confused between OnePlus 9 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S21+ (Exynos variant).
Please help me choose.
The S21 is costing me INR 2000 extra, but with the current offer running I am also getting a Samsung Active2 watch for INR 990.
I would have chosen 9 Pro, but I am concerned with the negative feedback about heating issues and camera quality not being up to the mark.
I have the S21+ and our weather is similar to India and it's always warm and easy to overheat, don't get it. I don't know if the Oneplus is better or not
Hello everyone. I wanna buy S21 Ultra but its expensive at the moment, so after researching I thought why not go for the s20 ultra instead because its cheaper. It will still get updates for few years. I am a basic user, dont play games at all, but do care about display and camera. I recently used s10 and pixel 4 xl and i was blown away by the s10 display compared to pixel 4 xl. I want a great camera phone as well. But before pulling the trigger, I have few questions and would appreciate if they r answered satisfactorily;
1. Is s20 ultra (Snapdragon) worth it in 2021 over s21 ultra if you take into account the prices?
2. Is the S20 ultra way behind s21 ultra in the camera department?
Shall be grateful for the feedback.
I'm looking for a new phone to replace my "old" OnePlus 8 Pro who's display isn't happy anymore and I also need something with good stock UI cause for my new job I need a locked bootloader so no Evolution X or whatever anymore.
I like One UI the most having had a Note 3, 5 and 9 in the past.
So, if between the S21+ and S20 Ultra, at the same price, which one would you recommend?

I was more hoping for some real world experience based recommendations. I know the theoretical and spec differences but I wanna know what people think real-world.
Such evaluations are always subjective, do not have to correspond to device's specs, to serious benchmark tests. Personally I never would rely on such evaluations.
