Am I missing something or is the Media controller app not available for the Gear S2? I have spent hours trying to find/install the thing, but with no success.
If the Gear S2 is missing the media controller app? Why? Its such a useful app. Without it I am thinking of returning the device. This is how I control I would control what music is playing from my phone from my watch, its a hassle to have to pull out my phone only to skip to the next track or pause.
Is there any way to enable it?
On this watch it's the Music Player. If you tap on the 3 dots to the right, you'll get a menu and the top item will allow you to select either the phone or the watch as the source for music. The watch will be able to control the phone if Bluetooth is on.

You can also add a widget with remote control buttons.
Hi,
Does anyone knows of any app that allows me to have on the Galaxy Note 8 the same functionality I had on the Note 4... the meeting mode:
- On meeting mode, the microphone is sensitive to sounds from all directions, and the device is able to distinguish up 8
sources of sound.
- According to sound source direction, screen icon is changed.
If you record the participants position at the table you'll get to know who said what according with the sound direction.
Well, I don't know if the Note 8 have as many microphones as Note 4 has (3).
Thanks
Hi everyone!
I was wondering if there is an app that can be downloaded to control media/in call volume. Since I am using AirPods the only way to control those two is on the phone. It will be really awesome if just rotating the bezel on the Gear S3 controls those volumes.
Thanks!
Edit:
Actually, I just found that the music player on Gear S3 can control media volume! YES! Even when using Spotify. The app has a widget and it takes about a second and a half to control volume!
I wish I can do the same for in call volume. The music app controls only media volume no matter what you are listening now.

May I ask, what is the watch model? Is it R760 WiFi+Bluetooth or LTE?

Yes. It is SM-R770, no LTE.
I am looking for a way to control my phone inside the Zeiss VR One goggle with my gear S3 watch. The gear vr app does not work for me because it seems to be restricted to the occolus app when that is connected to a occulus goggle.
All I would need is some way to simulate a display tap on any part of the phone display with a tap on the watch (or a watch button). But I couldn't find any app so far.
Hi there, is there a way to actually equalise sound volumes across multiple tracks on the Samsung Music App? I have an S22 Ultra specifically but maybe there's a solution for Samsung phones in general.
Sound Assistant does nothing, I can use a Bixby routine to switch the phone media volume to maximum (as it was always too quiet as standard) but nothing to increase the volume of songs from say YouTube, which are always quiet vs iTunes for example.
Thanks for any suggestions.
I use Poweramp instead of Samsung music app. Far more advanced
OK got it + full version key and Equaliser.... bit more in settings to work through
I'm guessing something in Gain? But what, where, and how much please?
