Question AOD visibility in daylight/sunlight? - Samsung Galaxy Watch 4

Is there anyway to enhance the visibility on the Watch when in AOD outdoors in the daylight?
I have tried various watch faces/colour combinations and none allow me to see the watchface when outside in the sunlight in AOD mode.
I have also tried autobrightness on and off and still nothing.
I was thinking to replace the glass screen protector with a matte anti glare one to see if that would help.
Any answers would be much appreciated
TIA

Screen Protectors (Again I Guess)

I really can't decide wich to get.
I like Boxwaves but they don't have for Trinity, will others fit?
And second wich is better anti-glare or crystal. I think I want anti-glare but is it clear enough?
Anyway hope someone has some brilliant advice

I agree! Martin Fields Overlay is the way forward
(I do wish it was anti-glare though, the sunlight can make it quite difficult to see things sometimes and its not even summer yet)
So what about boxwaves anti-glare? Wouldn't they be better then?

I ordered one of the boxwave ones, we shall see how they are
Are there any protectors which help with veiwing the screen outside in sunlight? I thought 'anti-glare' was just anti-reflective, and nothing to improve contrast or brightness?
I have found that the screen is really hard to see, even on the brightest setting.
My previous SE p910 did not have this problem, and was great in sunlight. I'm using a Martin Fields protector, but I don't think that the problem - I had one on my P910 too

Yeah, if anyone does find something which makes sunlight viewing better than please share, because I too am having huge difficulties making anything out in daytime outside.
No trouble in night/daylight/sunlight/w.e. I'm using a Brando Ultra Clear screen protector.
You can only see the protector on the screen when you look very very closely.
You can take the protector off and wash it, but I don't advise you to do that because it's difficult to get your screen dustfree again..
The support of Brando is also super-great!
I second the Brando recommendations.
It is the best one I have used. Uses no glue, so can be repositioned. But it holds very fast using vacuum principles and static. No, it doesnt shift around on its own. In fact can only be removed with a loop of sticky tape.
Secondly, it is perfectly visible in sunlight. I have SPB mobile shell and have the screen brightness adjustment on my today screen. In sunlight the lowest setting is almost invisible, but even the second lowest setting is visible in sun with this protector. The brightest settings are more than enough for even very bright sunlight.

Watchface in bright sunlight

Has anyone found a watchface that's real easy to see outdoors in bright sunlight? If so which one. It seems like everyone I've used is hard to see outside in the sun.
For me, the stock classic is real easy to see. Are you using black or white faces? Also you could try turning up your brightness level before going outside as you can't change it once it seems the sun
Been using this one. I'll have to try turning the brightness up some.

Huawei P30 Screen issues

Hello,
I got my P30 today and I really like it. The only thing concerning me is its screen. In standard mode (color profile and temperatur) the white looks way too warm and the colors look pale. Then, I played a little with the settings and either get a good white and pale colors or a too warm white but a little better colors (contrast).
However the white looks pretty great on the AoD.
I also have to mention that I removed the preinstalled screen protector and use a tempered glass by spigen. Maybe this has something to do with it?
Has anyone the same issues or can recommend a good tool to calibrate the display or enhance the contrast? I come from a Oneplus 6 and its screen was way better than the P30's except of brightness.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Question Matte/non reflective screen protector for Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic

Not sure if anyone has this problem but whenever I'm outdoors in bright sunlight, I find the AOD mode to be far too dull to be seen properly. I've tried different watch faces and nothing really helps.
Does anyone know of a screen protector that is non-reflectives/matte?

why doesn't samsung bring dc dimming

?

My eyes are extremely sensitive, and yet are not bother'd by PWM or lack of PC dimming. Why not? Here are a couple things that may explain it:
(1) I use dark mode at all times on all apps possible. That way, most of the screen (80~90% of screen pixels) most of the time, emit no light at all. The only pixels that flash light are the important ones, e.g. lighting the actual characters of the text I'm trying to read. And,
(2) I use an anti-glare screen proctector, mainly because reflections from various ambient light sources all around me bounce off the shiney display screen's unprotected glass surface and go directly into my eyes! The matte finish of a good anti-glare screen protector may also tend to disperse light coming from pixels behind the protector, lessening their blast of light pulses seen by my eyes.
It possible to enable DC dimming on Samsung Galaxy fold 3?
