Hi everyone
I have a problem with the System applications updater apk, (Phone Mi 10 Pro non root, blocked bootloader). It hasn't worked for a month. That didn't appear immediately after the update to 12.5 enhanced, but later. Not to mention, everything I found on the net, I tried and nothing !? On Mi 9, it works normally! What can I do to fix it?

You are using a custom ROM

Before doing the latest update to the Mi Mix 3, my fingerprint scanner stopped working, didnt even try to scan. I rebooted and no help.
After that I updated to the latest system, then rebooted and not only does it not work now, in settings the option has completely gone, only face scan shows.
I have pin protection on my phone.
Any ideas on what could cause this?
I have performed a full hard reset and unfortunately the issue persists. https://imgur.com/jDm25mU
What is the device status? Unlocked, rooted, what version of MIUI? try reflashing latest MIUI update via MI Flash, normally this should fix it.

It was latest MIUI, stock with no unlocked boot loader.
I contacted Xiaomi and they told me to RMA it, which I have done and new one arrives later this week. Fingers crossed the issue does not occur again
let's hope it turns out good in your case! to me it happened on Mi8 when got from Global Stable to Xiaomi.EU and went back to Global. Then only solution was to flash via MI Flash the latest firmware again which solved it. But yours is another storyline.
Try changing your region in settings. My device had a similar issue and the fix was to change the region.
So I just got the EU version of the X50 Pro, and wanted to remove some of the bloatware that is preinstalled. I've done that sucessfully before (on a couple of Xiaomi devices), so am very familiar with the process.
However it doesn't seem to matter what I uninstall, when the device is rebooted, it gets stuck in a bootloop before going to the recovery screen where I'm forced to perform a factory reset and start again.
The device isn't rooted, and I'm running Android 11 (build version RMX2075EU_11_C.20), with RealMe UI v2.0, and am using the latest ADB platform-tools (r31.0.2).
Has anyone managed to successfully debloat this device when using Android 11 ? If so, are there any things you didn't remove, or did you disable rather than uninstall ?

Try to use the ADB AppControl. There is several levels of bloatware removal. Works good with Realme.
Hi, wondered if someone could help. I have just got my phone back from the repair shop and it has been factory reset, which is fine, but it has now got an out of date OS etc on.
I've tried downloading all sorts of ROMS from the xiaomifirmwareupdate page, and it just keeps failing whichever I choose. Wondered if one of you clever souls can help?
Many thanks!
Try to flash the latest MIUI via MiFlash-Tool...
My wife had the same problem => now latest MIUI is running on her phone.

Hi thanks I run the tool yesterday but it told me I have to wait 128 hours
Hello,
Same problem here.
I updated my X3 NFC EEA as soon as updates went out, so I'm on latest (12.5.4 R).
My wife didn't update and now she's stuck on 12.0.8.0Q.
I understand I could update with Mi Flash Tool, but doesn't it require to unlock device for fastboot (and then need to wipe) ?
tbh, you're all not stuck with 12.0.8.0. eventually you'll get the update. because not all phone/device got the update at the same time. some device got the update and some others not yet, i think you just need to wait

I hope you're right, as Xiaomi doesn't roll out updates for everyone at same time, but 12.0.8.0Q is pretty old (february).

I did. I tried it again just now, it says wait 96 hours grrrr
best bet is to keep trying the updater every few hours . im on the latest version now and not once was i notified of an update , just kept checking . also try clearing the updaters cache / data , i remember that tip from my note 5 days lol
I confirm. My device is Poco X3 Indian (Non-NFC. Karna codename). Software stuck v12.0.10.0 and last update time is April. I cant flash any roms. I must wait unlock the bootloader.
Hello,
I got a big issue on my Mi 10 Ultra, the stock camera is not wanting to work anymore.
It's black only and then refuses to launch (see screenshot attached).
I've tried third party apps but quality is not as good and I can't use all the camera modules. I've bought the 10 Ultra for it's cameras and really want to keep using it. (I do a lot of macrophotography and the 10 Ultra is amazing for this but only on the wide angle module.)
Did someone encountered the same issue ?
I've tried installing GCam but I do not managed to install apks. Theres an issue during the package analysis... (I've tried all GCam apks I could find here.)
I'm on stock EU OS with TWRP and I just activated root to try to solve the issue.
Sorry for bad english and french screenshots
EDIT: Every camera is working in the CIT hardware tests, I think it's software but I resetted the phone and nothing changed.

stock EU OS ?
you mean Xiaomi Eu ROM?
If the code name is CAS,there are chinesse firmware only.
maybe try that
Use this tool https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/flash-tool-guide-use-xiaomi-flash-tool.4262425/
Unroot before and dont relock the bootloader.
Thanks for the answer

I got the Xiaomi.EU ROM as it was shipped with. It has a TWRP recovery from when I rooted it and got Magisk installed.
My MIUI 12 version is V12.0.15.0.QJJCNXM (stable).

I understand this is a tutorial to change my ROM, which is not what I'm searching for as the ROM works really well. Plus I only see the CAS on this thread's links which is the chinese ROM.
Not sure what you meant.
My bootloader was locked all the time, I just unlocked it during my testing but it did not change anything.

Now in the tests, my 5x telephoto camera does not respond, so I think it's an hardware issue, but I don't think the camera is broken so I'd like to found people with the same experience.
I don't think changing the recovery will solve the problem.
Plus I like having TWRP

Flash this rom to be sure
Mi 10 Ultra ChinaStableFastbootV13.0.4.0.SJJCNXM
Just to be sure of something, I did a test. Thanks for answering all my messages but what I need and want now is info or a way to debunk the issue.
I wont flash a ROM in a language I don't understand on the phone I use every day just to test something.
I already tried resetting the phone (including dalvik cache iirc) and it did not change anything.
Plus I would need a PC and a flashing tool, this would take a lot of time...
Finally, the issue did not came with a ROM change, the actual ROM is stable.
Edit : I changed the camera module, everything works perfectly
According to my repair shop, Xiaomis are just unreliable.
Hello, following the latest update 13.0.20.0 (OTA), my Xiaomi 12 restarts on its own and quite regularly, without any particular reason. This never happened with the previous version of Android. Does this happen to you?
Do you have the restart setting enabled?

I installed the New update .. The smartphone restarted without magisk and I simply patched the patched magisk.. Everything works fine..
Fonctionne parfaitement.. Nice..
You can see magisk is enabled on V13.0.20.0 (SLCEUXM)
I had a notification for the OTA update, but before I could install it, it has gone again. Maybe withdrawn?
