dotOS 5 Wallpapers - General Questions and Answers

I have installed dotOS 5.2 after experiencing version 5 where I particularly liked some of the wallpapers. I am finding it impossible to source them even from their Telegram Community. Any suggestions?

LineageOS 15.1
About
LineageOS is a free and open-source operating system for smartphones and tablet computers, based on the Android mobile platform. It is the successor to the custom ROM CyanogenMod, from which it was forked in December 2016 when Cyanogen Inc. announced it was discontinuing development and shut down the infrastructure behind the project. Since Cyanogen Inc. retained the rights to the Cyanogen name, the project rebranded its fork as LineageOS.

Not all Oreo roms have the same problems. AOSiP has some navigational bugs (for me at least), older versions of Lineage don't have working bluetooth calling, and a lot of the newer Lineage builds have finicky GPS. But they're all different in some of the bugs they have. They do all have some similar bugs, such as camera, but that's LeEco's fault.

It uses almost exact copy of it, and I merged it into the device tree I use.
Pushed new build to OTA.
Changelog:
+ Applied substratum patches. Now you can set your own font using substratum and custom theme support is now better
+ Added color configurations to live display - thanks to @Rk585
+ FIxed blue blink after splash - thanks to @Rk585
Known issues:
- LiveDisplay is broken
- Color profiles are broken
- LineageOS style can break in some cases after update, switch it two times to fix that.
Have fun!

i currently use (for more than 8 months) crDroid (which incidentally was updated yesterday); https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/rom-crdroid-v3-8-5-t3751207
apart from LOS 14.1 i would recommend AOSPEX 4.6

yes it is based on LOS 14.1.
TBH i'm not having high expectations from this device, and this ROM does a decent job. i only use features I really need, with light weight apps tweaked with all non-essential background services disabled. i still get complete app loading after bigger apps (chrome, maps, FB) but i think that is expected.

Download stats of all the ROMs at one place!!!

Users were asking how many times a particular ROM is downloaded (reasons best known to the users who are interested in this).
I thought why not assist them by making a dedicated thread about it. (idk, this 'may' help many users).
All download stats info at one place for ALMIGHTY Poco F1 (Beryllium).
Notes:-
-I am neither on any ROM's development team nor I am a tester. I am just the facilitator and all these links are openly available I have just compiled and organised them at one place. All the credit goes to respective dev teams of particular ROM.
-ROM's own websites display device-wise and country-wise download stats but sourceforge provides weekly-download stats, to see "Total Downloads" you need to click on the circle icon with "i" in it.
-On non-sourceforge websites find (ctrl + f) the words "Poco F1" or "Beryllium" to check the download stats.
Following are the links to check download stats of their respective ROMs. (Alphabetically)
Aospextended
Arrowos
crDroid
Evolution X
Havoc-os
Lineage OS
Nitrogen-project
Pixel Experience

Derpfest has its ROM files stored on google drive and download stats are not publicly available for that website so there is no way to know download stats for sure.
How to see if the builds are based on Android 9 or 10?
In AEX stats it doesn't shows Android version.
Read entire post carefully, its not ranting/criticism or support for any particular ROM, its just observation and study.
I wonder what might be the reason that Pixel Experience has gotten less popular in terms of download count (PE:711 & PE+:1966 dwnlds) in the recent past.
2-3 months ago the download count was very high, bt (maybe) since there was no updated Plus version for a long time users moved to other ROMs like Evolution, CrDroid.
With the release of Ten Plus, it seems CrDroid has gotten less downlds.
Nitrogen has almost lost its audience & its down to 1k dwnlds for its present rom.
Also, initial miui 11 (based on Ten) had so many bugs, users reverted to 11.0.4.0 for stability and they are still using it.
Havoc seems to hv consistent dwnld counts.
One thing worth noticing :- Evolution was not so popular initially bt in the absence of updated PE Plus version for 2-3 mnths, the dwnld counts spiked for Evolution considerably. It would be interesting to chck dwnld count again once these two roms get fully stable.
Feel free to discuss, add comments.
evolution has no microg support n already gapps include so its a downside maybe for some user.

Unofficial Roms

I have started making some unofficial roms for myself. I thought I would share a link incase anyone would like them as we don't have to many custom roms.
You can leave your Input but please, I will not be adding features to xyz rom or holding you hand. If you can't figure out on your own please do not attempt to flash. Many guides on here.
If there is something wrong with the rom I'll do my best to fix.
Once again the is only out of my free time and to share other great roms with the community.
Have fun!!

Thanks so much for sharing your hard work with us but, could you elaborate a little more on what features these custom Roms have? What makes them different from stock? What are they based on Android 9/10/11? It would be nice to know before downloading and installing so we know what to expect beforehand.

That are all stock builds. Haven't added or taken anything out. So each rom comes with whatever the team has baked in and whatever issues they come with if any. All are still based on Android 10. File names have that in there.
Device sources are all lineage
Kernel is msm-4.9 from lineage
So far

Thank you for all of this hard work. I love crDroid so I'm going to give that a whirl. Thank you again!!!
Hey bro thanks for the Remix.. running good
crDroid is running great! You got a paypal or anything? I have to throw you something for doing this.
I'm still on RR and love it. Lift to wake does not appear to be working. Is there another setting I'm missing? Double tap to wake screen as well. Not a big deal but I typically have phone face down. Any suggestions are appreciated.

To get double tap to wake you have to go into settings-display-lock screen display and turn off ambiant wake gestures. Now double tap should work.

It's a beautiful thing, thank you! I found the lift to wake toggle as well. Have a great weekend!
Crdroid and resurrection remix have been updated. Android 10. Dirty flash should be ok. Any issues clean flash.
Xtended doesn't want to build but nothing has really changed since last update. So Xtended won't be updated. Probably not till 11
Evolutionx won't compile either right now. Also I'm seeing a lot of Android 11 committs so I'll wait for 11 on Evo too
Havoc I'm gonna drop support and start looking at crdroid 11 to compile. Will be a little while still. (I've ran out of space so I can only compile for 5 roms)
Right now crdroid and resurrection remix are being updated for Android 10.

Okay, I had to try Resurrection Remix since it's a legendary ROM for people who like lots of customization options.
Wowww, it works! Just don't use Trebuchet as your default launcher, it gave me errors.
Use the Google launcher as default until you can either fix Trebuchet or do like I do, install Nova.
Anyhow, I see that RR has brought Slim Recents back. I haven't seen that on any custom ROM's in forever and it's my favorite custom recents.
Thanks for sharing your hard (many, many hours I'm sure) work!
Oh, another oddity I noticed aside from the Trebuchet issue is that the initial setup had buttons that appear to be greyed out, but aren't.
Such as when the phone asked me to log into my Google account, it brought up my email address but the "next" button was "greyed out".
Turns out, it was just a theme issue because I can still press the button just fine.
I haven't found it yet but hopefully the automatic dark/light theme is an option.
EDIT: It's in the RR settings instead of regular Display settings. It's fully optioned out too.

I would not call crDroid lightweight.
There is an official LineageOS build for the 4a.
