Samsung Galaxy S8
The Galaxy S8 from Samsung comes in two flavors this year. You can choose between the classic S8 or the S8+. The standard S8 comes with a 5.8" screen with 1440 x 2960 pixels. The Snapdragon 835 chipset has an octa-core (4x2.45 GHz Kryo & 4x1.9 GHz Kryo) CPU and an Adreno 540 GPU. You'll have...

I wonder if they test on same Android version. 2.3.4 & 2.3.5 is giant leap in performance.

It's probably a higher clocked version, guess Samsung weren't pleased with its performance at stock. Would be interesting to see what kind of battery performance it gets.
Where did that score get from? Anyway it's still early, it's just 1 result for that entry. I'm also getting 57.6fps on mine if I overclock it. but on the other hand there are huge improvements to be had on the driver side on the Adreno family so maybe Qualcomm finally got its ass on working and the new T-mobile version comes with new drivers.
Well T-Mobile Ver. is clocked at 1.5Ghz whereas S2 is 1.2Ghz, it can give a performance boost. Unless Adreno has improved the driver or something.

very interesting
Adreno 220 is always up to 260+ MHz on clock, meanwhile Mali 400 it's only at 167 MHz, but it can be overclocked to 400 MHz.
In Anandtech's Qualcomm S4 article, Adreno is like ATI's desktop cards. The shaders can be pretty fast if you can write code to fully utilize them.
Hello!
I have purchased a Samsung Galaxy Core i8262 (dual sim) and to be honest I'm really happy with this smartphone because it is Dual Sim and lag free (or if you prefer, it has the same perfomance with a Galaxy S2 GT-i9100)
However, I am in a dilemma. I'm thinking of replacing it with Samsung Galaxy Grand because it has slightly better features.
The pros are these:
8.0 MP Camera and [email protected] video recording against 5.0 MP Camera and [email protected] Video recording
1 inch bigger screen
1.2ghz Cortex A9 vs A5 (same GHZ)
And the only con I have found is the 30euro price difference.
1) Should I replace my Samsung Galaxy Core with a Grand?
2) What have you heard about Core and Grand? which is better?
Thanks for your time

The note 3 with the Snapdragon processor is better than the one with Exynos.
The Snapdragon processor Runs with 2.3 GHZ quad core and the Exynos runs with 1.9 GHZ quad core also the Snapdragon one supports 4G and the Exynos one not.
But there aren't a big difference..
The Snapdragon one can record Vids in 4k Resolution (3840x2160) and the Exynos one can only record Full HD (1920x1080).
The last difference is that the Exynos one use more RAM while in idle-modus, The exynos one uses 1,3/1,4 GB of the 3 GB and the Snapdragon one uses 1,0/1,1 GB of the 3 GB
Snapdragon no doubt

Hello I'm wondering if it's worth pursuing rooting this phone.
I looked up the specs and see both Snap Dragon and EXYNOS ?
I know that the snap dragons seem to be a problem and I really think this is probably one of those.
Does anyone have a suggestion of a method that would be good for this phone?
Try installing cpu-z or aida64 and check whether it's exynos based or snapdrag based

Phone is out right now and I won't have it back until tomorrow but this is from the specs for this particular phone maybe you can tell.
Platform OS Android OS, v6.0 (Marshmallow), upgradable to v7.0 (Nougat)
Chipset Exynos 8890 Octa
CPU Octa-core (4x2.3 GHz Mongoose & 4x1.6 GHz Cortex-A53)
GPU Mali-T880 MP12
I'm pretty sure those specs aren't correct this one must be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Model
Phone already loaded Nougat.
Snapdragon

Only the G930F / FD and W8 are Exynos iirc
