My laptop charger fell on the phone screen which was facing up on my disk and damaged the film screen protector on the display, but after removing the screen protector the display was fine with no cracks or color changes ,my question is will the phone display get any color changes with time or if the display is fine now it will remain ok
thinking positively. it will be/is ok

Hi to everybody, would I have a question for the forum, to someone it results that the screen of the ipaq 614 have some problems of operation with the you protect applied screen?? honestly I hope that is not true, because otherwise it would be really a disappointment.
bye
I've had little problem after I applied protector... but seems it was my fault.
I was trying to protect the display surface as much as I could and I cut the protector little wider than the visilbe display.
then I applied the protector stickin' it to the edges and the touch display stopped working.
after removing the protector display was ok. the issue was probably that somewhere in the edge the case was pressing constantly on the display covered with protector...
so I'd bought thinner protector, cut only size of visible display and now it is all fine.
The only problem I have with my protector is that the stylus scratches it and its got visible wear marks where my fingers constantly press. Resolution and sensetivity is apparently unaffected.
BTW, I disassembled the phone to place mine on the screen. Surprisingly, there was not a single warranty-voiding sticker type device anywhere to be found.
i heard that screen protector can reduce the lifetime of the screen (digitizer)
as it make pushes on the screen & it can make the phone warmer
although by those pushes it consume more cpu usage
those all theories that i heared about is that true because if so it'll be horrible
I have been using Screen Protectors in almost every single phone i had and never felt that the screen is "warmer" and can you explain what do you mean with "pushes on the screen"?
i meant it pushing the touch screen ( making a pressure on digitizer )
some of theory i remember was on this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=377472
others topics i can't remember
As you can see in that thread that most of the problems are caused by a faulty GPU drivers and when most of them talked about pushing the screen the meant causing Touch input and keep the phone awake, and as stated also in that thread Screen protectors are not heavy enough to do so, So i believe your phone will be perfectly fine, If you are still afraid of scratches just getting a phone case that covers the screen
EDIT : also remember that the mentioned phone in the thread is using a resistive screen when in your case its Capacitive so its almost impossible that the screen protector will be able to cause any screen input
wow i guess i'm noob ...i guess u r right in this
thanks really
hi,my phone is samsung galaxy s2 hd lte e120s android 4.1.2 ,the outer glass screen was loose and the glass screen is attached together with lcd and digitizer (i don't know how to explain but i think all the professionals know what i mean)so i had to open the phone and plugged out the digitizer ribbon cable, after i put double tape around the phone to attach with the outer glass screen and i plugged in (connected)the digitizer to the board but when i turn on the phone the screen is only green color but touch screen is fine..same to this video youtube.com/watch?v=3PlVQqo8Iho

I want to know what cause the green screen and how to fix it
please help me with ur knowledge, thanks.
-sorry i have poor english-
I dropped my phone, It fell out of my pocket in the gym today.
Now there is a red spot visible on the middle right screen link. I also noticed some light bleed from the left side. Can I fix this myself somehow?
I find it weird because the screen glass is in good condition, could the screen itself be permanently damaged?
It's pity as I still love this phone, and now it's damaged..
Thanks in advance
Yes, the top glass could be perfectly intact while screen beneath is damaged. I have seen this many times on Samsung phones that have been dropped.
Can't really either screen issue unless you replace the LCD.
I am getting white spots in grid after installing the screen guard on op3. is it normal or my screen broke!!!
It's in every phone visible in highly lit environment, moreover its happens to be visible only at a certain angle
Dust underneath the screen protector has caused this.
You got replaced original panel with duplicate one so it's common on black market panels.
