Hello,
I would like to debrand my phone. I read some guide here and I will use srk tool.
Now I'm on c02b133.
Which is the correct procedure?
have I to install via dload c432b136, go to c900 and then unlock bootloader, root e oem info file?
Or have I to unlock bootloader, root, oem info file and then flash the rom c432?.
I have this doubt because in some post, someone told to reinstall stock recovery after root, and forced the installation of the stock rom..so I'm not sure about correct way.
Thank to everyone

unlock bootloader > install twrp > root > change oeminfo and custom.bin > fastboot stock recovery > dload
after finished your phone become c432 and it can any ota from c432 firmware.
if you would like to go back to , you can do with the same method.
Always make backup of your oeminfo before u debrand.

Need some help.
i've used this toolkit to unlock, twrp and root. All done perfectly. After that i want to change my oeminfo from C900 to C432. iv'e backuo of the oeminfo and then used this toolkit to change that but, my phone first stuck in boot and lost TWRP and root.
Then when it is power on it shows a red message(normally it is yellow/orrange) and i cant install TWRP,root or lock BT again, all failed
SOLVED: Flash the new version in sdcard. Restored BL locked, recovery and all went fine. Finally.
What can i do?
This is the first procedure to debrand the Phone?
Hello guys
I'm from italy, and in this week i'll receive my new huawei p9, but there is a problem: is brand vodafone!
So the updates are reeeeally slow...like the last was b133, and i saw something like b180 on the no brand smartphones :S
So i was searching how to debrand the p9 and i saw this guide:
"to debrand the phone, the boot loader has to be locked and with the stock recovery.
create a folder in the sd called "dload"
download the ROM Stock EVA-l09C432B136 file, and place in the dload folder
turn off the device and reboot it pressing power+volume up+volume down"
I don't know if this is old or what, its still working?
Many thanks,
Andrea

Hey guys

Is that right guys or i have a problem ?!

Hello radhaddiab
I advise you to rebrand your FRD-AL00 phone to FRD-L09 (C432B131) and maybe you will have a more recent OTA update.
And IMHO, you should try to update to B380 (Above this version, it can sadly bootloop with rebranded China models - AL00 and AL10 - of Honor 8).
I have one AL00 phone too, rebranded to L09 (C432B131), and OTA update find B390+ firmware to install. (if installed, phone bootloop for me...)
But if I go to "Menu" (of Updater App) and click on "Donwload the full update package", I get the B380 firmware to download. After update, do a "Factory reset" (recommended).
If no luck with OTA updates, try the "RedLotus" method (requires a computer): https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/how-to/guide-flashing-unapproved-firmwares-t3668306
You must dowload and install HiSuite v5.0.1.300, not the latest one: https://www.filehorse.com/download-hisuite/28890/
With C432B380 "filelist.xml" link:
For L19 > http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G753/g104/v77475/f2/full/filelist.xml
For L09 > http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G753/g104/v77476/f1/full/filelist.xml
Good luck! =)

I only advise you L09, because you have AL00 model (32 GB internal memory). If it was AL10 model, I would advise L19. (64 GB)
But... that's not really important. ^^
And trying L09 can give you a different OTA firmware update than L19. But it's safe to update up to B380 (not more), that's all.
If you bootloop because you tried to install a more recent firmware, you can always "rollback" to B131.

With a rebranded china model to any Lxx model : B380 is the last safe update I know working, actually.
I think it's possible to have a more recent update if you revert your rebrand (to original AL00 model); Last AL00 stock firmware is B396.
Yeah it's sad... :crying:

Hi guys!
Mine is an original AL10 (bought from China). I want to rebrand it to L09/L19, I tried flashing FRD-L09C432B562 firmware but it doesn't work (I tried HuRUpdater, dload, Redlotus method), it's probably because I didn't flash the custom vendor img first. Previously I used Huawei Mutli-tool v7 (a year ago or so) to rebrand my phone but the latest v8 doesn't have an option for rebranding.
So, what should I do?

Hello!
If you have AL10, I advise you to rebrand it to L19.
Here is FRD-L19C432 "oeminfo" / "custom.bin" zip to flash via TWRP => https://mega.nz/#!XAET1YAD!JijwucQVNinMa-kBhUIEUUTFbRL-HcwqZsYxTntkMFM
Then use HuRUpdater method to flash latest Oreo firmware.
-OR-
You can also flash this FRD-L19C432B131 (Marshmallow) zip via TWRP, oeminfo and custom vendor img file are included => https://mega.nz/#!WF1FSbyJ!JiQ1oP8k8j3PMzVtvwEIb7gkRSigS8yzJ25Ud3b095g
Then use HuRUpdater method to flash latest Oreo firmware.
EDIT: If not working, you may need to flash B360 (Nougat): B131 (Marshmallow) -> B360 (Nougat) -> B5xx (Oreo)
Info: Rebranded Honor 8 Chinese model can't use B380+ Nougat firmwares. For Oreo firmwares, I don't know...

I successfully rebranded to L09C432B562, but I still can't get the Openkirin ROMs to work. If I flash the treble ROMs, my SIM slot 1 doesn't work.
