Hey Everybody,
I´m having a Note 10 and I´m very happy with it, in fact I bought myself a New one after 18 Month of Use because I charged my first one every Day over night wich took my battery to 84%. As there where nice offers these days i bought a new one which i want to root to install a Battery Charge App which stopps charging at 80% - so the Battery Lifetime expands and I´m able to use the new phone for 2 to four years without issues.
Long Story short, I have the first Samsung Note 10 here, Stock Rom Android 11 on it, never used any root or other Rom, always just did Samsung Updates.
What would be the best way to clone this phone on the new one and root the new one.
I have many many apps and took much time to adjust everything the way i wanted, I hope to have a way to not doing all the steps again as with a NEW phone without a backup.
Any Tipps appreciated.
Thx in advance
Richard
Hey Everybody, I figured it out and hope to help others with the solution.
Even it is not that hard if achived it took me a very long day to root may phone. I wrote all the steps down in this Post:
XDA - Forum Link
For Cloning the Phone, you can Use the Samsung BackUp and Recovery Software, did work for me perfectly.

ok, so everyone probably knows that the samsung galaxy ace is a new phone. and yes i have one. it's been a month with me now and it works fine until now. I rooted it, and it worked great. I even installed setcpu and adjusted the mhz. so, i searched youtube for a custom kernel for it and the video says to backup your data on rom manager. so I did, then it froze on me and turn black and it doesn't turn on anymore. removed the battery already to no avail. please. any reply would help. I'm not that rich to buy a new one.

what do you mean deleted?
too bad man, i have experienced that same scenario with my galaxy which is 2weeks old and did the same thing you did back up my rom using rom manager and then just this afternoon my phone didnt respond anymore so i rushed to the store where i bought it then i told the same old make your own story telling then thats it they will be replacing a new galaxy after 3 days.. i think technicians wont know if its bricked by you installing or using some third party unless there is a physical damage on the phone like short circuits or the like... hope you solve your probs..
oh so there's really no fix for this huh?
i must say yes none as of the moment. its like this, our galaxy ace is just months old so lets not be so hasty when it comes to third party software that may cause instability to our phone or brick our phone... ill just wait for the devs to have an eye to our galaxy ace and make a new advancement to our unit.
Let me first say I am very sorry if there is already something about this on here. I normally search before I ask but I am kind of freaking out right now.
I have a Galaxy Note Tablet 10.1 N8013. A few months ago I installed Clockwork and installed the Pacman ROM.
The whole thing is I own a video game business and we are going to be at a con starting tomorrow. I installed PayPal Here on my tablet and it recognizes the swiper but nothing happens when it swipes. I got it to work fine on my Note phone, so I am thinking it is the ROM I have on there. So I am looking for a fast way to just install a stock ROM because I really don't want to give my phone to my employees for a day.
I use to root stuff a long time ago but am rusty now with all the new stuff. Any help is really really appreciated.
Thanks

Odin + Stock Rom I guess. This is what I did the last time.
Recently i got myself my first smarthphone (yay!) it wasn't a very good one though GT-S6102: 290 MB ram and pretty small and can barely do anything. I always kept off from the Rooting stuff and getting other roms stuff since i was scared of messing up but after a while i got really curious (and bored) and decided to root my phone - success!. No issues, nothing. Then i decided to install a new rom to see how much of a performance boost it can give you, but... there the problems started... i turned on my phone - everything went fine but when i tried to click on the android dude that shows up when you turn your phone on for the first time - nothing happened... I thought, okay. Maybe it's just a bad ROM or something, so i removed the Battery to turn the phone off and installed another ROM - same results. I was starting to get scared because i knew that i have no warranty anymore because of the root. I installed quite a few different ROMs - same results. I started googling the problem but couldn't find much and i decided to get my old ROM back - i used something called Odin for that and yeah! i successfully got back my good 'ol rom, yet the touchscreen remains unresponsive. So my question is - is this even fixable? Or did i screw my phone in just 5 days? I really hope that there is a fix to that.
Also if replying i would recommend to explain it on a noob level because i'm pretty bad with these things as i'm new to them.
Thank you in advance!
Hi,
There is a chance you can get yourself up and running but it is possible that some hardware got borked
But this doesn't always mean you can't send it in for warranty, to find out more it is best to ask your question in a thread dedicated to your device, you will find a great q&a thread here

Best of luck!
Thread closed, thanks!
Hi new to the forum.
I bought the Xcover 2 in order to get a smartphone capable of surviving in the construction site.
But I realised it could not hold too many apps.
It's screen is allready shattered but at least, thanks to xda, I rock rootetd it and I can now have some usefull apps with me at work.
This week I bought a brand new Leica Disto D510 laser distancemeter with bluetooth pairing to use on site with my ruged (!) smartphone but ... Oh Lord, it DOESN'T PAIR.
It uses Bluetooth Smart 4.0 which can only be used with Android 4.3 or higher!!!! BoloX. The Xcover 2 runs 4.1.2
So THE QUESTION:
1: Is there any way to go around this without upgrading? I don't want to push the poor device too far and since it was designed for 4.1.2 I would like ti leave it with that if possible.
2: If I have to upgrade.. how the heck do you do that? I ,ve spent more that three hours now trying to find the right ROM to flash and I can't!!!!
Thanks in advance to the lady or gentleman, kind enough to post an answer. He will save me the cost of a new phone.

i dont believe there is any direct way around the bt issue.
your phone shipped with 4.1.2, seems odd that it never got any updates. did you go into settings near the bottom or in about phone, and check for updates?
there is at least one 4.4 rom for your phone that i found with a quick search, so there must be root and custom recovery some where, but its difficult for me to give accurate advice on how to proceed for a device i have no experience with.
ill just throw a couple google search links down here for you to look through if there are no software updates when you check.
if you decide to go the custom route, the first thing you want to do after installing twrp, and before installing a custom rom, is make a backup and save a copy to your pc for safe keeping. some times on these less popular devices it is hard to impossible to find the factory software, so you need a backup of it if anything goes wrong, or you dont like the rom.

Hey everyone, I'm new to all of this. Like super new, Like I made an account today new.
I have had a IWO Watch MTK250c for some time, i just recently got in to trying to mod some extra faces etc. my first attempt went very well using the Mediatek SmartDevice app and my Macbook with my Android phone, however the second face i added did something messed up as soon as i selected it on my watch to use my watch's screen went black and the backlight on the screen started coming on and off every 2 seconds or so. I am trying to stay positive here but i probably bricked it because that'd be my luck. In reading this forum I found I most likely need to reflash/install the original operating firmware and re-start from scratch. However as I said, I'm really new at this stuff and I only have a Macbook computer, is there any hope of fixing this watch or any advise for a totally new person at fixing this at all?
Thanks all for listening this forum is very helpful and any replies would be great.

Hi, no answer until now? Which IWO model do you own? I bought the latest firmwares for IWO5 and IWO4 from shiningintl.com.
There is a collection of firmware for different MTK2050C models, which you can find here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B_hRh3DjuBoeRTRHT3N2NzJvUnM
Good luck in reflashing
