Hello I want to ask something.
Is there a way to reveal sensitive content on notifications at lockscreen only if my face is detected with face unlock? Other place only the title of notification be shown?

Hi,
Sorry if this is already been answered but ive had a big look and cant find it.
I thought WinMo 6.5 had indicators on the lock screen showing missed calls and messages etc etc, each with its own separate slider, and you could just slide the one you wanted to see more about in order to unlock the device and go directly to that app. yet my leo HD2 doesn't seem to have this,it just has one slider at the top of the lock screen.
is this a setting somewhere i have missed or is this a "feature" for some reason?
Thanks
I dont have a Leo (yet) to confirm this, but on 6.5 you have to first tap the main slider. It will then show sliders for the notifications.
you are my hero!
I suspected it would be really obvious, but i just could not find it anywhere!
Thank you very much
Slide to Lock Notifications not working
When I want to see if I have a missed email, SMS or something, I have to unlock the screen to see. Is there anyway for me to be able get my lock to say Tap or Slide to Unlock instead of just slide to unlock so I will be able to see my notifications by just tapping instead of having to put in my password to see?
Hey
When i receive message(FB messenger,Telegram),on lockscreen is possible quick reply on it,when i swipe down on message..The problem is that when I answer the message, the display always turns itself off after a while and does not care that I still write I am on Oreo
I had the same problem on nougat. I use kinscreen to keep the lockscreen on longer, you could try an app like that
i tried, but work bad on oreo
I asked the developer of Textra (the SMS app I use) that same type of question. They said there has been a change in security in Orea that prevents apps from affecting the lock screen in any way
Yes i know.Google blocks drawing popups over lockscreen or statusbar(it's sucks!).But what I do not understand is that when it support a quick reply from lockscreen , why does the screen turn off, even though I'm still writing
Hello guys, I just wanted to ask whether it would be possible to remove lockscreen notifications but keep them on Always on Display?
I have already posted this question on Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus forum but I did not get the answer so I wanted to ask here.
Thank you in advance!
Not sure about the Sammies but my HTC has a separate menu item for Lockscreen messages. By always show I assume you mean when the phone is unlocked, so that when you're playing a game or something the message pops up. The quickest way to find out if you have the option to hide sensitive messages or not display them at all on your lockscreen is to go to settings and in the search bar at the top begin typing Lockscreen. It should popup in the results. Depending on the apps you use I know some have options within the app for when, where and how to display notifications. Handcent/Next SMS is one that comes to mind.
hi
have a new Samsung S10e, and when I get a notification like for a text message, or for two-factor authentication confirmation from an app, etc., the lock screen doesn't wake up. So I hear the notification sound, and when I open the phone the notification is waiting on the lock screen.
how can my notification waking up lock screenlike old iphone?
hellooo
Check your Edge lighting settings. Either turn it off, or tune the settings to the specific apps.

I'm still upset & shocked at how Samsung handles notification privacy on the lock screen.
I have two options,
Hide content on the lock screen
Unhide content on the lock screen
that seems to be okay if I chose to unhide the content.
And if I chose to hide content, it's much more annoying and frustrating, it also hides the content after unlocking the screen even in notification penal until unless I open the relevant app.
iPhone handles this option very intelligently, on ios if we chose to hide content on the lock screen, it hides until the screen is locked and shows the content of the notification immediately on the lock screen after unlocking the phone.
Samsung please grow up and do some sensible.
Are you agreed?
Totally agree with you. Anyone can see the messages in Homescreen Lock mode.
You can switch it to icon only and not have the details showing on your lock screen.
