Rooting Note 20 Ultra US question (N986U) - Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Questions & Answers

I have the Samsung Note 20 Ultra (sm-n986u, US variant)
Once the bootloader is unlocked via the paid service (sampwnd), is the rooting process and files same as described by Dr. Ketan, in the other post ([Guide] How to root N20 Ultra (N986B)(N9860))
Just looking for some guidance before I head down the rooting rabbit hole and pay the unlocking fee.
My goal is to enable call recording.

Unflip16, I have an app that's called ACR call recorder, it works without being rooted. So far I have gotten everything i wanted without being rooted.

Can we flash custom roms for Galaxy S8+ (955F) to (955FD) models?

HI!
I am in Hong Kong and the Galaxy S8 Plus (G955FD) is more easily available then the (G955F) model.
So I am wondering if the roms made for G955F can be installed to G955FD without any issues or do I have to flash something separate in addition to the rom?
Sorry if this question has been asked and asnwered before. Just want to get an answer quickly as the shop has limited stock on G955FD and I want to buy it today if possible.
Thanks.
A 1 minute search brought this up.....

Little help please

My phone is beginning to lag some so I'd like to root and use a custom Rom. It's been a bit since I had a phone I could do it to so I don't want to screw this one up. I've read a bunch of threads but there's too much to go thru. Here's what I'm running, what would be the best/easiest way to get this accomplished. Thanks

There are no custom roms for the Snapdragon variants yet that I know of. The bootloader hasn't been unlocked so no custom recovers either.
I'd read up on the downsides of rooting this phone too (only charging to 80%, knox tripped, etc)

Got a fake j7 pro, how do I get the most out of it?

I received a fake j7 pro as a gift from my grandmother, she bought on the streets thinking it was a good deal. I don't want to tell it was not and already accepted the fake phone, so now I'm trying to get the most out of it.
The specs of the phone are here

the phone has a custom 6.1 android version, and I thought flashing an older version to get rid of the potential threat of having this one, and to run smoothly. A quick search tells me to go jellybean.
Should I flash another rom in this device? Can you recommend any? Thank you!

Question g996u1 ...one ui 4.0 and e-sim Are you OK?

In one ui4.0, which many users including me have been waiting for, Samsung allowed esim unlock.
This is a very happy thing.
However, e-sim cannot be activated on the mobile I am using to pay the fee.
The e-sim works fine on the Pixel 4 and iPhone SE2.
I wonder if the s21 series users who got the new e-sim function this time are activated and I want to discuss it
Is it really a problem with my device?
my native language is not english
Please understand wrong English

Do you already have an e sim on your device? Or already scanned that Q-Code on another phone and are trying to transfer it to another device?

Pleae help me how to solve this issue
This is a carrier version, so bootloader cannot be unlocked and there is no workaround.
I made the same mistake of purchasing the phone from a reseller and ended up with a locked bootloader. What's worse is that the battery has expanded with a few months and the back panel is coming off.
First and last time I ever purchase a phone from a reseller.
