I tried adb drivers from youtube but nothing works.
The drivers linked to in my signature plus the "Android USB Driver" suitable to your phone based on Qualcomm chipset.

They are all part of the regular driver package located here - http://www.motorola.com/Support/CA-EN/Support-Home/USB-Drivers-and-PC-Charging-Drivers
You might have to force driver installation, although the only driver you need to load is the QC interface. I don't remember exactly which driver it is but it might be listed as Motorola QC Diag port if you do a "have disk" to force the driver installation.
Thanks for The fasT response
I have been using of the drivers to install it never works
I will try to force install now thank you
ok i'm not exactly sure how to force install. I did go through the unknown drivers again and was able to get adb to install by auto searching.
it didnt work on the other drivers.
i dont understand why its so hard to find these drivers.
after hours finally done http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1891582
I'm trying to unlock my mate 8 but when I plug it into my pc it says USB device not recognized. Are there drivers I need to install first? If so where would I find them? I have developer options and enabled USB debugging.
I tried manually installing the driver using these instructions https://www.dc-unlocker.com/how-to-install-drivers-manually but it will not work. It shows up as unknown usb device (device descriptor request failed) and then when I manually install drivers to that usb device it says "windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date.". This is incredibly frustrating someone please help me out. Can you link me a driver that actually works and automatically involved?
Thanks
please help
If you connect your phone to your pc, especially in Windows, you will notice about Windows asking to run driver downloader. Just run it and it will download the software. Once it is installed, your phone is connected.

Hey I downloaded the hisuite from huawei's website and it properly installed the drivers. Thanks for the advice though!
I wasn't sure where to post this, as the only Blackview-related subforum is for one of their phones... Anyway, I recently bought Blackview Tab 8 (a 10" tablet), and I'm quite pleasantly surprised about its quality (even the box is almost wooden-like ) and the fact that they give you basically everything you need in the package (unlike some manufacturers who keep taking away things season by season...). Also, pure Android without any bloatware - there were a couple of games and apps I don't really need, but they can all be easily uninstalled, or at least disabled (the latter didn't reappear so far, I hope it stays that way).
Three questions for now:
- Any idea which ADB drivers should I install to be able to use adb on this device? I already have three on my Windows 7 computer from before, but connecting this device to the computer didn't find a suitable one.
- How can I remove the "silhouette" of Google Search widget/box on the home screen (other than the workarounds such as changing the launcher, or moving icons to a secondary page and leaving the silhouette alone)? It just stays there after disabling Google/Assistant/etc apps, but doesn't do anything and it can't be moved. I had a similar issue in the past (I think it was a Chuwi tablet).
- How can I tell if the device can be connected to an external display via USB-C to HDMI adapter?
Google's ADB & Fastboot drivers basically are both device and Android OS version independent. However how they got implemented by OEM/Carrier is different. Also in most cases it's required to install an additional "Android USB Driver" provided by OEM/Carrier to make ADB and/or Fastboot flawlessly work.
A link to an ADB / Fastboot installer is to be found in my signature.
I think I actually need those "additional drivers". From what I can see your script downloads what I already have (from platform-tools). adb.exe doesn't show any devices, though. The exclamation marks in Device Manager are at "ADB Interface" and 3x "Unisoc Phone".

Here you go:
Unisoc / Spreadtrum SPD drivers for Windows (SCI & USB)
Its important to install SPD drivers else Spreadtrum flash tools like Research Download, CM2 SPD etc won't be able to detect the phone. This is a collection of unsigned (.inf) drivers to be installed
forum.hovatek.com
I tried
Spreadtrum SCI Android USB drivers
Spreadtrum Drivers
SCI android usb driver jungo v4
SPD drivers 2018 ver2.0.0.131
but none of them worked.
In the end, I was able to make it work using these drivers:
How-to install SPD Driver R4.20.0201 (Easy Guide)
Step-by-step guidelines to download and install SPD Driver R4.20.0201 on Windows Computer to connect SPD/Unisoc Devices.

But truth be told, I'm not sure if that was the only requirement (because there were also remnants from previous manual install from the link jwoegerbauer provided).
Can anyone help me get the qualcomm drivers installed properly on my computer so I can access the phone? (I have the OnePlus 8T)
I installed QPST_2.7.474. Phone won't detect. I tried QUD.WIN.1.1+Installer-10037.3+Setup, still the same problem.
Under device manager I'm getting device problem as well (no Qualcomm)
you want to access phone file via MTP connection?
In Windows 10 you look for installed OEM Android USB drivers in device manager's Portable Devices or Other Devices, depending on which one you see.

I am trying to do this tutorial:
[GUIDE][A11][A12][A13] VoLTE and VoWIFI on custom/stock ROMs with any Carrier
Activate VoLTE & VoWIFI on custom/stock ROMs with any Carrier Yes, yes, I know that this is not the first thread with activation VoLTE and VoWIFI. But my thread will be more convenient and easier to understand. ATTENTION ! ! ! These methods...
forum.xda-developers.com
So I can have access to VoLTE. However, when trying to use EfsTools, I'm getting a
Code:
Critical error. Value cannot be null.
Parameter name: PortName
So I believe it must be something with my qualcomm (since in my screenshot you can see the "other devices" windows is saying it was not properly installed). I did try to connect my phone with USB debug on and engineer mode toggle on. Same error.
So right now I am trying to make sure step 3. is correct.
I have a feeling I need to take additional steps to uninstall properly old qualcomm drivers before installing new?
I tried Qualcomm QPST Diag port x64; QPST 2.7.474 and OnePlus official USB drivers
Hello,
I want to make a simple python app which get some informations from the android Phone plugged in usb.
I'm actually using adb but I don't find a lot of documentation about how to make an application interact with a androidphone usb plugged
I'm using Linux environment to develop the app
The goal is to define which ROM can be install on the plugged phone depending on his caracteristics
Thank you
Do you mean that you will have your application just treat your mobile phone as an USB storage?

BTW: ADB's source code is foundable in Internet.

Each Android ROM - what exists of 1. Linux kernel, 2. Android framework (API), & 3. device peripherals (OEM drivers) - varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, varies from device model to device model.
My POV:
What you want to achieve requires in any case that you know of the "device tree" of the device you want to be explored what IMO requires to have access to OEM's source code. Good luck!
