RCS on Verizon using google messaging - Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Questions & Answers

I had google messaging working fine with RCS on both U and U1 firmware. I was messing with it a couple days ago and now it just sits on verifying my number. I've factory reset, flashed both firmwares and it just doesn't work. Samsung messaging seems to activate(but for some reason Verizon version sucks)and all RCS settings are turned on. Gotta be something on Verizon's end. Any suggestions??

Can't send or receive sms Straightalk

I was wondering if any of you with straighttalk reading this with an ATT Samsung infuse with the att sim could quickly hit *#*#4636#*#* then under phone settings scroll down and look for the smsc line and hit refresh and write down and post it for me.
I have been using straighttalk for the past couple of months and suddenly I don't have SMS anymore I can't send or receive. My phone does say message sent but no one is receiving it. I've tried deleting my messages, factory reset changing the smsc to the AT&T settings different messaging apps and I cant get it. Customer service says the problem is ony end but I'm not sure how it is from night to morning without any changes.
I'm running Scott's. 2/3/2012 build
** I am able to call and use the data

Nexus 5 on Sprint is no longer sending or receiving SMS

My phone has suddenly decided to no longer send or receive sms at all on Sprint. I've been running Sabermodded SlimKat for months with no issues whatsoever and just the other day SMS suddenly stopped. It says the text sends in any messaging app I use but it never actually seems to send. If I try to text myself to test it also I get no messages back when though it says they all send. The weird thing is MMS is working fine, I can send myself pictures and any one of my contacts, but I do not see their SMS messages or my own, none are getting through. I tried wiping and flashing over to 5.0 (Cataclysm) instead and I still cannot send sms. I've tried updating my PRL and Profile many times, Reflashing a flashable Sprint APN zip, manually setting APN in hangouts, messenger, textra, qksms etc. I've tried flashing different radios on 4.4.4 (before I flashed 5.0 now I just have the final L preview radio) and I have even tried removing the sim card and rebooting before placing it back in. Has anyone encountered this issue before? I am at a loss.
Try downgrading to 1x only and see if it works?

Just tried it, sms still isn't going through, 1x only 3g only or LTE only.
Might try going back to the stock rom and seeing if it works then. That would probably be the easiest way to make sure it isn't the device or the rom you are using.
Are you able to make calls?
Does the data connection work still?
Was texting removed/blocked on your account?

Did you take an OTA? Update to Lollipop? If so, you may need to flash the Sprint fix.
After a lot of trial and error I ended up calling sprint since I've never had just sms fail while mms still worked. Turns out my MIN number wiped itself (somehow?) and have since gotten it resolved. Sadly I don't really have the slightest idea how it happened since I had been using the same kitkat rom as my daily driver for months. Thanks for the suggestions and attempts to figure out what was wrong.

Does anyone have the RCS messaging (through Google Messages) working? (I'm on US996)?

Does anyone have the RCS messaging (where you see the dots as someone is typing to you, etc.) working in Google Messages?
I'm on US 996, on Verizon network, on AO-ROM.
I thought I had it working before I redid my phone, and now I can't get it back to working again. I tried installing an older beta version that allows for the RCS switch in Activity Launcher (per every tutorial), but no luck.
So, if anyone has it working, even if you are on another ROM or V20 version, please let me know what you did. Thanks!

G965U can receive text, but can't send.

So here's what I have going on. I have a G965U that came with Verizon FW. I use a company that runs off of the Sprint/T-Mobile network. I was able to make and receive calls, although they were taking a bit to connect, and I could receive texts, but was unable to send or reply to text. I got it to work a coupe times, but it would only work for a short time. I was also getting a msg a few times a day that my sim card is not a Verizon sim.
I've tried different apn's with no luck, and the phone won't allow me to save the current apn settings from the carrier's site.
I flashed the FW to XAA U1, and the sim card msg is gone, but I still have the problem with texting. The only way to get it to work has been a software update, a factory reset, or flashing new FW, but they all still resulted in it only working for a short period. I just wiped the cache through recovery and will see what it does.
Any ideas what may be happening, and what I can do if the cache wipe doesn't help?
Hint: Add Samsung G965U to this tread's title thus mainly owners of such phone get addressed.
I should add that I also found a post online that said it's a network setting conflict, and to turn off wifi, download and install Google Messages, give full permissions, and setup chat, and that it would fix it, and then you could use Google Messages, or delete it and use the stock app. I tried that, and it did not work.
So far it's still working after 40 minutes. Usually I can only get 2-3 text sent before it stops.

Question RCS not connecting

For about a week now, I have been having problems w/ RCS on my S21+. The Google Messages app requests that I verify my number, but (almost) never progresses any further. If it does actually connect, it will disconnect very quickly.
I have tried clearing data and cache from the messages app, as well as Carrier Services, but no difference. I am on VZ.
Is there something I am missing?
I have to be in the beta program of the app before RCS work for me. Not sure why, but that's the only way I got it to work.

I was in the beta program, but got out of it cause I thought that was the problems. I will try again.

Did you check if there are conflicts with your APN settings. I too have a S21+ and RCS works fine. (Previously on Mint, currently on Visible.)
I did not change the APN settings. Its a VZ device and the only APN is "Verizon Internet". I have tried when on WiFi and on cellular. It doesnt make a difference.
