Hey everyone I have a quick question. If i unlock my bootloader and root would it be possible to run a GSI AOSP rom and not just one of the One UI roms?

So I wanted Android Pie for my J710F but there werent any cutom Roms availabale. So I figured I could port a Rom. But all the guides on Xda and elsewhere only focused on porting a rom with the same SDK version.So my question is: Can you port an AOSP Pie Rom with an AOSP Oreo 8.1 or 8.0 Rom?

I used to flash the usual custom roms so is this is the same thing i mean that if i can use it to flash custom roms
And which roms exactly working perfectly on this device without any issues
Also should i root my phone before installing it or what exactly should i do
Is it stable and doesn't have any problems or will i face some problems while im using it
And what should i do exactly to install it and install the rom after that

u can try install gsi q roms with this instruction and tell us woks roms or not. Maybe need wipe all data, because custom roms not support decryption

hmmmmmmm maybe I will port project treble GSI （do some research on that） to you once I get it booted on my devices one day but it will take years for me to learn how to do so.
Gsi will be the best choise once you try it to fix.

Hello! I was just wondering, wouldn't be possible for someone to port a custom ROM (Lineage OS, Arrow OS, crDroid, etc.) to the LG Q6? I mean, there are no custom ROMs ported for the device. There is a port of TWRP recovery to the Q6, but that's it. If also possible, I would like someone to post a thread on how to unlock the bootloader for the Q6.
