Im not in official beta so don't think that would work. Just don't want to brick the device

I have a SM-G920F phone and I recently flashed the UK version of Lollipop to be able to participate in Marshmallow beta program. I didn't like it because it didn't support my gear VR and I went back to Lollipop. Now I have the UK version installed on my phone and I can't get rid of the Android 6.0 beta OTA software update notification.
So I would like to flash the Nordic countries firmware but my pc is broken and I don't have admin permissions for my pc at work. It there a way to flash it without a pc?
If your phone is rooted you could use mobile Odin but without root there is no way to flash without a pc

I know about mobile Odin but my phone is not rooted. I think I just have to wait until I get a new PC.

None of your friends or family have PC?, just ask someone around you.
I was accepted on the official Beta and installed Nougat on my G7
Due to some issues I did a hard reset and in the process seem to have been 'deregistered' from the Beta. Opening the Beta app shows a 'Register' link in the 'more' menu and pressing that says the Beta is fully subscribed; on the bottom of that screen there is a 'Register' link as opposed to 'Derisgister' that was originally there.
So it seems I am stuck on the version of A7 that is on the device- Software Update says I have the latest version.
Is there a way to re-enable the Beta registration as I was on it initially?
You need to flash latest BTU and if you registered before it should be okay because it's linked on your sammy account.
So after flashing and login you should receive a update.
Sent from my SM-G930F using XDA-Developers mobile app
Thanks Johnny, but the problem seems to be that I have become 'unregistered' so if I return to the Android 6 BTU I won't get the A7 update.
Think I'll just have to wait it out!
IF you flash manually via Odin without being able to register, do you get updates of the betas via OTA even if you aren't registered in the beta?

Nope, OTA only if you are registered
I have a Bell S8+ (SM-G955W) from here in Canada. Can I use Odin to flash the unlocked direct from Samsung software? Any benefits or downsides to doing this?

Yes you can. Look in the General section for the Tutorial. Download files from Updato or Sammobile.
Benefit: no bloat ware
Down side: no WiFi calling, no VoLTE

Thanks. So I should still get LTE and stuff? What about updates...will I still get them, maybe even faster? Like for example could I sign up for the Oreo Beta?

You won't get updates. But they are available on Updato and Sammobile. And you don't need to be able to "sign up" for the Oreo beta. I'm on Xfinity Mobile and I installed the Oreo beta following the guidelines in this thread > https://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s8+/how-to/looking-brave-people-to-try-t3699352

Did you just flash the zip over the stock firmware? Did you install that last update before hand?

I was on the October security patch (AQJA). So my first step was to "go back" to August, AQGL (have to be on AQGL to use that linked method). I did this by downloading the file from Updato, then flashing it via Odin.
Then, to install the Oreo beta .zip you have to ADB sideload the file.
Note that this wipes/factory resets your device. And that's a good thing. One should always do a factory reset when there's a major change of versions. Avoids a lot of issues with conflicts.
Any major issues you've found with it?

None. It's been flawless for me so far. But be sure to factory reset, and don't restore any backups. Set it up as a new device.

There are updates to Oreo for model FRD-L09C432 (B562, actually). You can find it with Firmware Finder by Team-MT. Just do a forum search for instructions. There are several install guides.
Which way you install the update depends on your situation. Is the official way not working for you? I suggest you try it with HiSuite and update via USB cable. It's the easiest and safest way.
As I had unlocked bootloader and TWRP installed I used HuRUpdater using this guide and it worked well (even if it's already released - it doesn't matter - you only need to choose correct firmware; model / region / version: FRD-L09/C432/B562)

Hello, my T-Mobile Oneplus 8t has been converted to International version and placed on the open beta 2 software. I am upgrading to the oneplus 9 and giving this phone to my girlfriend which probably shouldn't be using beta software. I've tried using the conversion method to just simple set my phone back to stock international 10.5.0.6 but its not working. everytime i flash and reset via recovery i boot right back into beta 2. im so confused.

from what i can see in the log pretty much everything is failing when i use the flash all batch file that came with the tmobile conversion kit in this forum
All you need to do is download the downgrade firmware in the open beta 1 post. Flash it via local upgrade.
