I have a strange issue on Oneplus 7 (10.3.4).
I installed viper4android via Magisk module. When I connect via Bluetooth with my 1more ANC the phone automatically switch to Aptx and it seems that the viper4android is not working. (any change I make makes no difference)
I only hear a change if I make it via the Dolby Atmos in the phone's sound settings.
Did anyone experience this?

Notice: root required because DAXservice cannot be disabled without root (freeze with Titanium Backup)
Also, speaker will be weak when playing media (YouTube), but audio through analog (3.5mm) and digital (USB C) are clean and "express" (unaltered). You will be blown away how good sound it can be with right USB C adapter and right headphones.
Are you ready?
Root is required
Open Titanium Backup and freeze (disable) the following
Dolby Audio
DAXservice
Reboot after it's done
This trick can be used with G6, One Action, but it doesn't work with Z3 Play because it doesn't have Dolby Audio

It really *does* make a difference in quality. My phone rebooted trying to stop the DAX files, but moving the two folders out of /system/app works fine too.

Hello,
I have a question is there an option to change audio system codecs? I am not talking about bluetooth codecs but system codecs in general.
My problem is with application Lego Boost. When I play sound it is slooooooooooowed and distorted but only on phones speakers. When I connect any bluetooth earphones sound is ok. Bluetooth uses LDAC so I guess that problem is that OnePlus uses some unsupported by application sound codecs.
Maybe there is some app that can change system sound codecs? I did not found any system settings for that.
I use 10.3.0 Android system.
Thanks in advance.
I'm running cDroid custom ROM, have all the audio Magisk modules installed and compatible with v4a, yet whenever I'm running Youtube through Logitech G560 speakers, the audio sometimes cuts off for a few seconds then returns to normal. I've tried various different BT streaming settings in dev options, yet no luck fixing that issue. However, BT audio through my headphones run fine without any interruption. Ideas?
Phone is rooted and on Android 10 and using xxxnolimits but I can find the volume quite low. I have Sony overear headphones and Jabra in ear
I had viper as part of xxx no limits but also installed Dolby Atmos via ADB . However do the 2 clash?
Downloaded latest ViperFX via Magisk and no option for Bluetooth headsets as had this option in old version?
Just wondering which is best and if viper do I need to remove the Dolby in case they clash and vice versa
Any anyone have any good profiles or settings for use on headsets
Thanks
I bought the entry level OnePlus buds Nord because Dolby Atmos is prominently featured in the promo. It connects to my OnePlus 7Pro fine and the Dolby Atmos check on the phone is active. I don't notice anything different. So I connected the buds to Windows 11 PC and the Dolby Access app says the buds are not Dolby Atmos compatible.
It's a $40 bud so I don't expect anything special but what does the Dolby Atmos label even mean if Dolby's own app won't recognize it.
