Is it true does anyone know that the T-Mobile and Verizon variants of the phone are not eligible for the installation at this time since the devices include carrier-specific software that is not compatible with the Beta, even if we are bootloader unlocked.confused:
Thanks in advance,:good:

I don't know but it wouldn't surprise me. Damn Americans (I'm American) all they want is money money money. I thought Android was built for community and open source. The US is changing it to be more like Apple which is money hungry. Well I'm on TMO but running global now. So we'll see if I can test beta soon. Happy modding!

Or he signed an NDA and/or the ROM is watermarked.
Who cares? If he can't we won't get anything just by nagging. Ask for info, not for files.

Nobody said that you owe them anything from what I can gather. A few folk including myself were chancing their arm in the off chance that you would post your updated ROM, Can you really blame us for trying when you come on a public forum stating it works well and that you are in possesion of an updated ROM that alot of folk crave.

Is the 3D effect of converted 2d games as good as the native 3D games from Gamelft ??,id imagine that they would be less effective ??
Hi Nic85. LG have said that the 2d to 3d game converter is coming in the first maintance release in October. Do you know what things the Maintance release fixes and does the Maintance release also include Gingerbread or is that coming at a later date.
Thanks
Hi, I was wondering today how hard it would be for someone to slip something nasty into a Rom if they wanted to.
How would we know?
Before anyone bites my head off I'm not accusing anyone, I was just wondering.

I just been reading about the growing number of trojans in Android and got to thinking that as I flash quite a lot of Roms I wouldn't have a clue.
I assume that if I unzipped a bad Rom windows wouldn't recognise it as a trojan/ virus.
If i remember correctly, lowveld said if he wanted to, he could put something nasty in his ROM. He said that when some dude questioned about the security of his ROM. Cmiiw
It's all about trusting the devs guys and always flash a custom ROM from xda forum if you found that you like.
Whats the best way to root a Galaxy J7 from tmobile USA, model SM-J700T?
I thought I would have this j7 rooted already myself.
Ran into fastboot issues like in the V10 forums after mm update. Seems fastboot oem unlock is disabled yet you can click to unlock in developers? Kinda of pisses me off about that. Everyone blamed LG for that but now I see a 2nd T-Mobile phone with same issue.

Yeah the J7 is good for the price without all the bells and whistles. I am seriously thinking of returning it for a refund and getting a Note 5.
I can understand that. I didn't get a note partly because since i want to remove as much samsung software as possible, it makes the s-pen almost unusable therefore a waste of the extra money. Also, i am little impressed with this device for the money. Had it been only 1-1 1/2 gig of ram like the other models I'd pass on it.

The only reason I"m returning this phone is because it lacks an LED notification light. If it had it I would really keep it.

Hello to all the developers of XDA. we all know that there are so many people across the world who owned oneplus one (flagship killer 2014). The device is a beast and u all make so many things for this device :fingers-crossed:
But unfortunately there is only one thing which is missing i.e volte. :crying:
The hardware of this device supports volte but unfortunately there is no software support for oneplus one.
Please its my request from all the owners of the oneplus one to XDA developers make volte available for this beast and we all know that nothing is impossible for the developers of XDA.

It's easy, you can do it by yourself.
Procedure- Just go to status bar settings of your rom then enable status bar carrier name and write the carrier name- 'VoLTE' without quotes,That's it! Now you'll see VoLTE icon on status bar.
Go and spread the word to other VoLTE aspirants for OPO.
Thanks me later!

Hi Sahil,
Our fellow forum member 'AK' is just having little fun with you .
Oneplus One does support Volte on hardware front. But to make it work, the OEM (Qualcomm) has to release the source code. Without that the developers are helpless.
They never released the code, and I'm sure they won't do that in future.
So please forget about Volte, and move on. Accept it

If you want you can play with the volte enabler switch in the phone setting menu ?

You don't even need Xposed, you just need a rom with Status bar carrier option which most of custom roms contain. And trust me,I've fooled many sd801 users with that, including zuk z1 users.
