Are there cases designed for T-mobile 5g? Or any oneplus 8 case will work?
Only the Verizon variant is different than the rest of the 8 5g models. Most mention somewhere that it will not fit the Verizon model, which means it fits yours.

No. Use cases specially fitted for the tmobile oneplus 8. Here's my case: https://www.amazon.com/SupCase-Desi...words=supcase+oneplus+8&qid=1593541370&sr=8-3
And the alternative -- without the holster: https://www.amazon.com/SupCase-Unic...words=supcase+oneplus+8&qid=1593541413&sr=8-4
I hope this helps.
The T-Mobile variant is the exact same as the international version. The only version that is different is the Verizon variant.
You're free to buy any non Verizon version case you want.

Thank you!
you don't need to use cases specifically for the T-Mobile version you can use any case except for the Verizon case. I've seen this wrong information posted a lot but just need to confirm that your statement is not true. Any OP8 case will work as long as it is not for the Verizon. You might want to edit your post to say the correct information ?? personally I would recommend the Ringke Fusion X case
Amazon a bunch of case's. Bought X case and 360 magnetic case.
I was looking for a good case with a kickstand and got the Tuopuna hybrid heavy duty armor case with kickstand. I'm really happy with it!

11. Don’t post with the intent on selling something.

Im on .9 after being rooted because no matter the kernal/rom combo, my GPS was hosed. Back to stock now and all is right again. Just wondering if there are any new stock ruu's past .9 out, or coming soon?
Thanks

Really? These are talking about stock ruu's and they are in this forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=903760
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=975888
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=995819
They are also threads in which the OP contains a RUU, not someone asking if a new one will be released. If you can't tell the difference then you should reread the forum rules.
I did,...have you?
If not, here they are, and no where can I find that in the Developers Forum must you provide actual RUU's, not just ask about them.

This is not a q&a forum. Those RUU threads you speak of contained the RUU, not someone asking after them. If your not posting a ROM, Root method or MOD, then it doesn't belong in the development section. Put it in general...
Thread reported for closure.

Right, but Im not asking about which battery to use, or why does my TB take bad pics, its about RUU's, I mean close it, move it, whatever the mods want, but its a question I researched, found nothing on, its about RUU's, which are used to develop new ROMs off of...so I figured asking about a ROM, albeit a stock one, should be asked here. Not trying to be a hard ass.
And questions belong in the general forums, not the dev forums. It's a simple concept, these forums are for MODs, Kernels, ROMs, and the like.
I have not seen any new ones. The GPS works fine if you turn on WiFi even if you are not on or near WiFi. Try it and see if it works for you.

I think this thread has to do with dev. He asked about a new ruu that might fix his GPS issue. I also think its sad that all these replies are just flames and no help. To answer your question, I have not heard of any RUU. Have you tried the gps fix in these forums?
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA Premium App
Thank you,...yes, I have tried all the gps fixes, wifi on/off, it didnt seem to matter. Im cool with being stock, as my max stable OC was only 1.2ghz, so no big loss there, and now that Juice Defender (Beta) is playing nice with the TB, my battery life seemed to have improved to near UV performance. What Im looking for is hopefully a fix for the garbled sounds from the camcorder. And I will re root again to try out new ROMs again, Im sure, maybe whatever was farking with my GPS will be ironed out by then.
Aaaaaaand moved. Oh well, less exposure to the people who would potentially know the answer, but what can you do. Next time I will link an old RUU in the thread and everybody will be happy.
Message boards arent really a democracy dude. If someone tells you wrong forum, say sorry, and move it.
Why sit here and whine about it only making enemies of people who could potentially help you? Most people also check the general forum.
Hello folks, my name is conantroutman and I'll be your forum moderator this evening...

Thank you - glad to be here!
or is it I who is lazy and ignorant? idk if this is gonna be the end result for all "one click root" methods with "live chat support". I recently installed the OCR app[not kingo or king etc] and in the end, my lg rebel 2 lte[straight talk] is not supported. however i already know this. I started a live chat with a Melissa Bryan[probably fake name for internet] and she ended up telling me my device is not supported. HOWEVER:
DIRECTLY FROM THE WEBSITE RIGHT BEFORE DOWNLOAD THE EXE: "Our live rooting support team will be happy to manually root your device. Our rooting experts have rooted nearly every Android device out there today – from the most popular models to the most obscure models."
This b17ch didn't even offer any ideas or attempts, she simply said "this device model is not supported, do you have any other devices youd like to root? we'd be happy to help"
LIKE UH EITHER ADVERTISE RIGHT OR GTFO THE INTERNET
This, is ultimate ignorance in my opinion. I get it, the device is locked down tight. BUT SO HAVE ALL THE OTHER ANDROID PHONES!!! True, some are easier to exploit than others....not the focus here. Considering all the countless tools and methods and bricks and unbricks you can read about, it's beyond my ability to simply throw my hands up and continue to "conform" as she called it. She said i could conform or.....i don't remember what she said i told her "conform my ass" and she disconnected. Sounds to me like One Click Root.exe is BULL****!!!!!!!
I am not upset that my device is not supported, this is acceptable. It is unacceptable to say you'll be more than happy to manually help root my device and turn around and tell me something like a ****ing brick wall.
Wrong forum man
XDA is not a place to throw frustration, one either creates a constructive discussion or directly contacts the apps`s customer support
