Hello,
I bought a new device, Nexus 5 from China
And I have a problem when I insert SIM regardless of which provider I have no reception (no service),
Tried to set the correct APN settings with the provider but it didn't help.
It works out only when I'm working on 2G when I return to 3G again no reception. (No LTE in my country - Israel) .
I can't find any operator after switching to 3G.
when I switch from 3G back to 2G I still can't find operator only after a restart.
Do you have any data about my problem? and how\were can I get service support in my country? Thank you.

Same problem here...anyone?
Well, depending on your operator, 3G frequenties used maybe not the same as the ones uses in China.
I know that USA LTE(4G) isn't the same as here, in France (If not I would have bought it in USA for 349$, that equals to 255€. And I bought my N5 349€ in the play store)
Try to call your operator and ask them for the frequenties they're using ?

Are you sure this method workd for the problem I am having? Please note that I can select 3g but its not getting any network while others have problem where they cannot select 3g. I am asking here before following the video so that I do not mess up my device.
I'm from india.
Im using BSNL carrier on nexus 5. I have kinda strange problem on my phone. When i select only 2G mode i am not getting any signal.but if i change it to 3G or LTE im getting 3g signal. But in some areas in city 3G not available only 2G is available but im not getting 2G signal. I changed carrier to IDEA and VODAFONE still facing same problem.2G not working only 3g.
But in airtel and reliance 2G working ok.
For solution i have flashed new rom but not working also flashed RADIO files provided in xda forum but still same problem.
If u have any idea what to do please tell me.im about to swith my carrier due to this..

i have problem with my data connection. when i set the preferred network to WCDMA only and LTE only. my phone has no signal at all. i have a strong 3G connection on my other phones.
is it a baseband problem?
if it is. how to flash the correct baseband for my F350L?
or this maybe a hardware problem?

I see that you are from Manila and using a F350L please check supported bands by your network and the supported bands of F350L if they are compatible.
i did check it and it is same bands use here. there are f350L users here with no problems using their 3G connection.
My F350L is LTE-8 other F350L are LTE-A. I suspect that this two have different band
I am having the same Problem up here in Ohio
No matter what I try I can not seem to get this phone to do anything besides just G I am running the F350S on AT&T
Please look in Dialer with 5457#*350# and activate your Bands

I put the Checkmarks on the bands that AT&T Supports. But I am still only getting G

Hi folks, I am Nigerian and I use an LG G Pro (D838). Some days back i noticed that i had no network on my phone so I tried inserting another sim into the device and still got the same result but other devices around had network coverage. I changed the network mode to GSM only and got 2G but WCDMA only gives me nothing. I have tried other sims on GSM only mode and got 2G but when i change the mode to WCDMA only, i get nothing at all. Have also put it to GSM/WCDMA auto but keeps giving me just 2G network only. I have even had to downgrade the OS from android 5.0.1 to 4.4.2 as suggested by a friend and still got the same issue. Please, what should i do??????

I have the same problem in Holland. I have the F350k variant) 3G is in Holland 900/2100. The phone has despite of the advertisement text !!! by selling (900/2100) 850/1900/2100. The 2100 band is the same so should work.
Tried a lot. By the way last software and Androi 5.0.1.
The Sim is not the problem, the APN setting not, ........
any suggestions?

The imie is for d838 already...how aure are you dat after chaging the imie, it will work? And how do i go about changing the imie? Thanks

Hello, I am from Nigeria.
I bought my LG D838 on eBay in May 2015 and was quite impressed with the performance but my pride and happiness was short lived. I woke up one morning in December 2015, and noticed I didn't have any cell reception. I checked with my siblings and I seemed to be the only one who had no cell reception on the same network as theirs.
I swapped SIMS of other networks into my phone but still to no avail but funny thing was that whenever I change network mode to 2G only, I get reception but switching back to 3G only mode gave me nothing at all...this happened a few days after I updated the OS with a 50MB patch file using OTA as prompted. I have been writing to LG since then but no reply and it has frustrated me so much as I bought this phone for about USD 398 and didn't even get to use it up to a year. I managed it on 2G while trying to contact LG about it until the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth stopped responding also. I need the NV and QCN backup file for this phone in order to get it running again…I would really love to see this beauty run again. Please help me out.

Hi,
I've been using my Xperia Z3 D6603 for about 2 weeks now on the Virgin Mobile (Bell Mobilily) network in Canada and the network reception is horrible. The signal keeps bouncing from 2-3 bars to zero bars wherever I go. My habits have not changed since using an LG G3 which I never experienced signal problems with. I think it's something to do with the phone not being able to connect to GSM and connects to CDMA only. I think this bc when I go to GSM only under network settings it won't connect at all.
What I've tried:
- Installed generic Canadian firmware
- Went to GSM only under network setting, and have NO Signal
- Entered Virgin's APN settings
Does anyone else have any suggestions?? This is such a nice phone and would love to keep if I can get the signal issue fixed.

My LG G3 has Lolipop and it worked fine.
I've tested it in many different locations and it's spotty where ever I go...

What kind of network issue are you doing talking? I sometimes have trouble using internet thought it was my network problem
