Anyone else having this issue? It doesn't do it all the time but it is annoying it doesn't go away.
ALL THE TIME! I thought I was crazy.
It goes away if you play something and switch it off but that's not ideal
I use VLC and it's working OK.

Hi everyone,
I searched before I posted, but couldn't find a similar issue.
I'm running Cognition 3.04, and touch input seems to freeze up. If I let the screen go to 'sleep' and unlock the phone it will work for a few seconds, then start freezing again. Sometimes I can just wait a couple seconds and it will accept input. Even after a reboot, it will start this behavior after a few minutes.
The issue goes away when I go back to stock 2.1, though.
I realize the obvious solution is to stay with stock, but I was just curious if anyone else had experienced this and knew of a better solution (who wants to be on stock).

That has happened to me before. Went away with a fresh flash and wipe of cache.

You didn't restore system data when you flashed this, did you?

Do you have any over/underclock settings applied? Are there are any voltage settings that you find?

The first time I flashed, I did that which I later realized to be a huge mistake. When this issue started, I flashed back to stock did a master clear and reflashed Cog, but the issue remains. Is there some step I missed in clearing out the old stuff?
This happens to me in swype occasionally. Super annoying bc it thinks I am taking my finger off the screen when I am not causing swype to be worthless. after a reboot it goes away

I haven't played with anything other than flashing Cognition onto the phone.
I'm going to try going through the whole thing again, but this time not reinstalling any old apps/data through Titanium Backup. I'll set everything from scratch and see if that makes a difference.
Since last nights update to 3.2 i am getting a blinking screen when in Google music app. It just constantly blinks. i have about 7k sngs loaded onto Gmusic and never had any issues with tab or phone. Currently this issue only blinks on the tab. Still plays music but sometimes if i pull up an artist it won't seperate the albums.......
Is anyone else seeing this and is there any fix? Sorry if this has been addressed else where. I only have limited time at work to post this...

Did you try clearing cache and or data on your Google Music? I have no problems with a blinking screen but I do have album cover art issues... Hope it helps...

I have had blinking occur when opening stock browser. It did go away after a few seconds.
I have this problem too! its like it keeps reloading the music ever 2 seconds and just flickers, if i clear the data/cache and force stop it, it'll work on the first open and then keep doing after until i clear and fore stop again.. anyone have a solution?
I am continuing to get this flickering problem.
The only way to correct it is as stated above- Clear data.
Than open app, it will work fine but than the next time i go into it the same issue- so have to clear data again.
Anyone else have this issue or come up with a permanent fix. Or any ideas...

Yup same here, the widget was only dsplaying one item for a bit which prompted me to go into subscriptions but FC's every time.... I'd expect an update soon ... its probs something to do with th new youtube layout .. ? perhaps they changed something the app used to rely on.

It will show in recent apps and re-open and keep playing as it was. it is however getting somewhat annoying. I haven't found anything else mentioned elsewhere. Is anyone else having the same problem?

no issues with that either. You might try uninstalling and reinstalling the app? Maybe doublecheck your wifi connection? Just watched the daily show with no closing or issues here.
Hulu pauses a lot
I was having issues with Hulu pausing a lot during streaming. I don't use the app anymore, i just stream directly through IE and it works perfectly.
Just an update for all. I noticed using it this morning, while not touching any of the screen or the start button that it went back to start screen and the device vibrated like the button was hit. The behavior continued until this evening when the start button stopped working. Called up tech support and the guy had me go through a hard reset. To do this, hold down power (while the surface is on) for 30 secs. Then hit power to turn it back on. No data loss at all. Booted back up and the device is working properly now.
Has anyone who absolutely hates chrome like myself and has disabled it been having issues of it reinstalling itself? This just started in the last 3 days. It will just all of a sudden reinstall, and try to update. I will go in and disable it again, and a few hours later, there it is installed again! Absolutely frustrating! Anyone else?
