Trying to install TWRP/Magisk onto my international version S6. Developer options doesn't show the option for "Allow OEM Unlock". The phone was purchased unlocked/never tied to a carrier from a US store.
international models are unlocked. just reboot into download mode and install your recovery

[Q]Completed Verizon S3 SCH-I535 Root & Unlock, Question About Different Carrier SIM
I have a Verizon Galaxy S3 SCH-I535 running Android 4.1.2.
I just completed the xda-dev installation "Root, Custom Recovery, and Unlocked Bootloader for Jelly Bean OTA (4.1.1 or 4.1.2)" showing as updated 3/5/[2013]. I completed all five steps. [Note, I chose to install the CWM Touch Recovery 6.0.2.3 instead of TWRP Recovery 2.4.3.0].
Regarding Step 5 - Restoring your Jelly Bean Bootchain, does this do anything to undermine the unlocking of the cellphone?
When I go to "System Settings" ... "About Phone" ... "Status", at the bottom under "Device status" it says "Modified".
My goal of course was to be able to take this cellphone, install a new SIM card from a different carrier, then use it either on either the "Global", "LTE / CDMA", or "GSM / UMTS" basis.
Before I go tramping around popping in different carrier SIM cards, I wanted to pose this question to the community.
Thanks much.
I bought this from Ebay, Using it in Thailand i am sure it is unlocked one (not from Verizon) my build number is OPD1.170816.025. If i remembered correctly before i update this this nov patch i think it can be enable. Check it today it is Greyed out, before that i use Beta and go back so it is factory reset me to this version i do not know if it is something to do with this build version shows in the internet as EMR (early maintenance something). Can i just simply flash .18 version? or anyone knows why i cannot tick it, i want to unlock bootloader to modify buildprob for volte and vowifi. Please help
.025 bulid is fine. You just have to factory reset in settings
Hello, am Steven. I own a Samsung j7 nxt (sm-j701f/DS). I recently enabled "developer options" and accidentally activated the OEM lock. Having switched it off in order to replace a Sim card, I did boot the device normally but only to get the logo plus a feedback message, "custom binary blocked by oem lock." Afterwards the phone switched off. So basically that's all it does now when I try to boot it. Am lost about what to do because I can't check for software information in order to install specific firmware. I can only access the model number as stated above in brackets.
If there's a way to remove the OEM lock without a firmware update, I would really appreciate that help, otherwise I don't know how to choose the right firmware for this phone, since I don't want to brick it am hesitant to make a firmware update.
What should I do?

Hello, does anyone know if I can revoke special app access and permissions from 1) Carrier Provisioning Service 2) Carrier Setup 3) Modem Service 4) LifetimeData? I live in Europe and I think I got the normal OEM version, as there's no carrier information in "About Phone" and fastboot says that my device is "oem_locked." Thanks for any help.
