does anyone able to have a floating window on this phone?
i read about it on huawei website saying that we can float them when we having full screen app and a notification comes, but i cant make it happen in my phone.
but i managed to float an app (aliexpress) without it having a notification (twice), but i cant reproduce it again, it happens accidentally. it tried opening with gesture etc it doesnt works anymore
if someone have been able to pop a window please let me know
the native floating window, not an app for floating window.

is there a way to unlock the phone and go directly to a missed message? It seems the only way is to put the messaging app as a lock screen shortcut, then drag that to the circle, but this doesn't go to newly received messages, it just goes to a list of all your message threads
I'm also really curious about this. I don't think we can go directly from the lock screen to the message itself, from what I've tried.... Anyone else more familiar with Sense 3.0?
Hello Everyone,
I`ve got an idea of an app to read all the notifications from the android status bar and show them in the pop up window (similar to the iphone) with the buttons to dismiss it or open the appropariate app to deal with the occurence.
I find android status bar notifications a bit annoying due to the need to slide the top bar down and press the actual notification to deal with it or dismiss it.
There are pop ups available for texts and missed calls via third party apps and there are similar ones for notifications from gmail, voicemail and facebook possibly, but I don`t want to instal 10 apps to get all notifications as a pop up.
It would be handy to have an app to read the info about all notifications from the status bar and transfer it to a nice pop up window with simple two buttons to dismiss it (mark as read and remove from the status bar) or to go into the proper app to deal with it further.
There is an app called Vibration Notifier which seems to do a bit of the above - read all of the notifications from the status bar and then remind about them in the set intervals by either vibrating or vibrating and sound. The developer of this app did the job by getting the permission (from the user) to go via android`s accessibilty mode. I`d love to see someone going further that road and do the pop up window.
Has anyone seen such an application or maybe anyone willing to write one?
I`ve got no idea how to do the coding / developing stuff - sorry ;-)
Thanks for any replies.
Tommy.
Just wondering, this seems to be something I notice quite often and its annoying because I either have to unlock my phone, or the phone app is minimized and I have to pull the notification panel down to go back into it, or hit phone app icon (if i remember to do this).
Is there a work around?
I end up also missing call prompts on automated options
It's super annoying. I go to drag down the notification bar and instead drag the screen into a quarter of its size. It's a nuisance.
I have had an s6 for a week and didn't even know what pop-up view was till I saw this and did a search. Guess I never have the problem you do. After playing with it if you can reach past the corner before you drag down it will pull the notification window.
Good question. I've also enabled popup view accidentally and wouldn't mind knowing how to disable it when needed.
I'd like an answer too. My hand is a little small, so I always end up activating popup instead of pulling down the notification bar.
“MultiWindow Toggle for Samsung” allows you to disable the feature. It's available from the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.nerd.multiwindowtoggle
Hello guys,
In my old phones, when an SMS comes in, I slide down the notification panel, I can see the entire content of the message.
But in the Mate 9, I can only see the first two lines.
Problem is when using my banking app. When I request TAC, it comes as SMS the moment I switch to the message app to get the code, the banking app automatically logs out (that is how it has been programmed for security purposes). The banking app also doesn't allow split-screen.
Is there a way to get the notification show the entire message when I swipe down the notification panel?
Thanks
Have you tried swiping down the notification panel with one finger to open it, then using a two-finger swipe-down on the sms notification itself?

Click to collapse
Just tried. Didn't work.
Thanks for the tip.
It seems that there is no way to get the notification show the entire message when we swipe down the notification panel.
I think it is maybe by design for security purposes.
It doesn't seem like it's for security if it's still showing the first line. I've had no luck replacing the default messaging app with Signal, either, which should have fixed this problem -- the phone lets me change the default, but then I stop getting any SMS messages at all until I change it back.
