this is my first tablet and I had purchased for play games and watch movies and sports.
I really don't know if this it's happening just to me or if someone else has discovered the same thing. When I install flash player (to see tv on net) in portals of streaming which requires flash player, the navigators doesn't work, the screen display just white.
I really want to love this tablet, but if I can see streaming.. I really dont know what to do...
please help me if anyone knows what can I do to display flash content in this lovely monster..
Flash Player hasn't been supported by Android in quite some time now. It never worked in Chrome. It was only supported by the old Android native browser which is not present on the Shield Tablet.
Just go download the .apk file from here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installing-flash-player-android-devices.html

What are the sites you are trying to use? I know most streaming sites I use utilize HTML5 and doesn't require flash to work correctly.
Ok I visit drakulastream to watch soccer, and ESPN play, fox sports play
ok I found the solution, I had tried with different browsers and finally it was PUFFIN the one who saved my life.
If you people want to do the same which I want to, so I recommend that you download this browser.

I recently found out that a device require widevine L1 to play copyrighted content in HD from streaming services like Netflix and so(no effect on YouTube). And it turns out redmi note 5 pro(whyred) is missing L1 it does have L3(used to play standard quality) and not only this device turns out a lot of devices including likes of one plus 5, pocophone etc have the same problem and to my knowledge this is not something that can be fixed with a software update it somehow related to hardware so i would like your thoughts on this particular issue and if there is any chance that it can be fixed.??
EDIT: Just found a modded version of Netflix with hd enabled don't know if it's fully functional (can't test now) but it's s temporary fix (the Netflix version is old) but here's the link

there is no way to enable L1 level security on this mobile.... Don't know about other country atleast in India we hardly use Netflix. All are busy in hotstar Jio tv Amazon prime and lastly netflix (very few people)

Well that could be their marketing strategy but still man it's a little bit upsetting knowing that the user don't have the ability to play videos in HD

I have issue with my matepad pro i could play online video. Im using 2 app alot for viewing movies. It works on my p30 pro and all other tablet and phone i have except the matepad pro. One of the apps show the black screen . And the other show me "an error occurred while initialising the youtube player" and your streaming is currently unavailable. Please try again

I am getting the following error for some of the latest 4K HDR contents in Disney+Hotstar app in India.
"PlayBack Error"
Error playing this content due to DRM issues. Please try again. (PL-1204)
I am using "Xiaomi Mi TVBox S" with latest available patches installed. So far the issue appeared for "The Mandalorian" and "Avengers Endgame". Rest of the contents in the hotstar app and other apps like Netflix/Primevideo works absolutely fine.
I have pinged the hotstar support team via Twitter. I doubt if they will just say the device is not fully supported or something. Any idea, why the error message and any possible solution?
