Good day all huawei customers. I have been pondering on a business idea for quite a while now but would love to know all of your thoughts before proceeding. As the title says I have found a method that can unlock/downgrade/flash all current and a previous Huawei phones that does not require test point or the risk of totally screwing up your phone!! Now my question to all of you would you prefer this method to work like remote support i.e TeamViewer and so on or an online Virtual Machine that user will have access to for the given time? Now for the one downside of all this unfortunately this service cannot be done for free as just getting the things needed to have access to this service will already cost me alot of money. So my final question is would any of you pay $10-$15 dollars for this service? It will take me a long time to make my money back but i cant ask an arm and leg for this kind of service so please I would like to hear from all of you of your thoughts if you would pay for this service or not, and if not why? All advice welcome you can dm me aswell if needed. Thank for your time reading this god awful long post. Thanks and enjoy the rest of your day

Well I must admit this is pretty low, chances are the person selling it is on this board too.
Selling your own hard work is fine, selling others non profitable hard work is pathetic, I hope the person responsible is feeling very guilty about now!
That stinks, someone should find out who this guy is?
£1.99 very appealing until you see he is charging £8.01 for postage on an electronic download.
Maybe he'll donate the money to xda developers - I don't think.
He did donate though, not much.
wm06 on ebay
Hi guys
As there is apx 244,000 members on here perhaps we should ALL ask him a question about where its from - wonder what ebay's response would be?
It might stop him from profiting from others hard work - unless of course it is genuine

Link please?
What a stupid person ! ! !
If it is for Universal, Video Calling is not properly working yet and he/she will be screwed.
Link is in the first post, yes he is selling the Universal without the video call!!
Have asked the question lets see what he comes back with!

Don`t think anyone will get a reply now as Ebay have removed and cancelled the posting !!...that was quick for a change!!.

And the account seems to be suspended as well.

judging by the feedback, hes already made £120 out of it.
Take out his selling fees and that he has been suspended from Ebay and all the trouble he's gone to the profit wasn't worth it...
Should be thrown off this site too...

Reply from the seller
This is the reply I got from the seller NOT from me personally as from following post it looks if it was me IT IS NOT just to make it as clear as day (and if the mods wish to ban the seller) they can PM me and I will send his name.
I've put an ADD on email with a step by step guide to flash the devices.I've seen a lot of "mod" people bricking their devices due to a bad explanation of the flashing process, complicated links, corrupted files and so on.IE: I myself colected information from a developer site and tried to flash an Imate Jam and after the process was done...it was bricked!!!End of story I ended up with a worthless device and no support whatsoever!!!
So I had this idea of making a friendly step by step guide and offering a support to the buyers in case the flash process goes wrong. And don't tell me it is a risk free process...For instace from the 15 roms I've sold out I had to give support for 3 buyers that even with the step by step guide they manage to not completely follow the steps and needed extra support (such as special roms that are able to recover half bricked devices).
So what I actually offer is a lower risk to the buyers.Up to 85% of my buyers know that these tool I'm selling might be "free" elsewhere. But this "free" means no support as well.So this is a great value for money choice as all the tec stuff and tools needed are gathered together with download links, explanation, step by step guide and support by email or msn or even by phone in English, Portuguese or Spanish.
So this is what I offer. Part of the money gathered are sent to the development site so we can keep improving HTC devices.
Best Regards
(I do have his name but not that evil to post it)
sure, that's why you want 8 Bucks for the Download right?
You suck guy, no one here will believe your stupid "oh i did nothing wrong" bull....
You tried to earn Money with other peoples work and with non-licensed software. You can't deny that and that's exactly why you should be banned out of every single ppc-board (this, pdamobiz, etc) forever.
Everyone gets support here within a few hours, i don't think some like you is only even almost able to replace all the knowledge of the pplz in this and other ppc-boards.
So got and tell your fairytales some who is stupid enough to believe you.
Reply to the seller
Whether you offered support or not is not applicable, the simple fact is you tried to profiteer from other peoples work without their permission.
You broke the ethics of this board in doing so, caused a certain amount of distress - these actions you took without consideration to the developers, or board members.
If you believe you perceived intentions were honourable and justified then that is your opinion. I believe as do others that posted on this topic you were wrong to do so, as apparently do Ebay.

This site is not for Crapple products. Try using Google to search or our sister site at http://iphone-developers.com/
There is lots of website available on the internet, just Google it. Pick the best site where you can resolve your problem.
@brookeaidan - Not to trole you or anything but I noticed a pattern forming of telling people to just google it. Though its a good suggestion to use google, I'm not saying write pages or something, just be a bit more helpful if your going to post help. Maybe post a link to a google search for them (not everyone is a wiz a google) because this is hard to get into (unlocking or hacking or rooting) the first time but once someone gets a win it's all good for the most part from there on.
I would suggest;
1. example Google search the following or to help resolve the questions in this here thread:
"Iphone"+"unlock" how to similar:xda
Or
"Iphone"+"unbrick" how to similar:iphone-developers
2. If you've got some knowledge to drop or experience to share its a good idea to post it so that the original poster can benefit and all future readers. For example:
When I had to unlock my first phone I first read up on the legalities, the how to(s) and then picked the best rout of action... at that time it was not illegal in the nation I resided and most of the how to(s) where way over my head (at that time) so I found that adding "solved" to the search queries pulled one up on "how to unlock your phone with help from service provider" in that guide it went over the steps of escalating a call without burning bridges and the legitimate reasons that you can give a service provider to assist you with unlocking a device.
Example of escalating the call
Service provider turns a request down
Respond something like
"That's ok <insert name> I won't waist your time further, can you please connect to your supervisor"
When supervisor answers, this is usually after the person you've just talked to has shared some words about you to their supervisor, so be polite but firm with the first person you talked to they'll likely also try to turn you down as well. Don't get impatient here, instead re-state your wishes completely, pause long enough that the supervisor can "grunt" that they've herd you but not long enough that they can interrupt you until you've finished everything that you need to say, if they do interrupt say something like
"I respect your time <insert name> and I need you to listen because this is very important <continue statement>"
When you're telling your story some things to keep in mind; don't lie, don't raze your voice (tention in the voice works far better), know that the first 2 or 3 people you talk to may not have the knowledge or the ability to do what you want so treat it like an adventure
Now for the reasons why a service provider might be cool enough to help you;
~ A family or business emergency, vacation, or trip is taking you out of your provider's coverage without incurring steep roaming charges wile your abroad.
This was the one that worked for me at least and was suggested by others. Make it sound like it could happen soon and let them know that you love your device and your service and don't want to have to leave them just to get a phone that'll work over seas because you love your phone (remember )... most people get it by then and are more apt to be on your side about connecting you to the department that handles unlocking.
So to recap
~ polite but firm and prepared to repeat yourself
~ request to be connected to the person(s) or department that can resolve your issue
~ use the persons name and the names of the persons to talked to before
~ treat it like an adventure
Doing so ensures
~ the person you are talking to is willing to help
~ prevents you from getting turned down and hung up on
~ let's them know that you will remember them, this is powerful when used correctly
~ by being up beet with company represinitives on the phone you can make them really eager to please. Note though; not to be to chatty or friendly as this will drag things out.
Some additional notes about unlocking devices:
I've unlocked many phones (no iphones yet) and two with the above method before doing it with guides and USB and programs or exploits on other devices. Both routs are tedious at times but if you take notes and are persistent you'll find a method that works in either rout.
In all companies the least secure and most flexibility/leverage can be found in the call centers, as a customer it's a good idea to know how to get your moneys worth out of 'em so perhaps look up social engineering (The Art of Deception was an entertaining read) or NLP (Darin Brown can be found on Youtube and it's good for a laugh too. Tools like that when used to get what you want as a customer can make life far quicker and easier even if your not out to exploit something but instead have a legitimate concern. I'm not saying that you should become some kind of mind master but instead take a look at the key concepts and apply them to actively construct a conversation that leads to your goal. After playing round with both ways of unlocking I can say getting a service provider to do it for you is kinda more fun, ya get to make peoples days a bit more interesting (such as when ya get a talker that then clams up because the realize that the conversation is recorded on their end and they've just said... something...) and not stare into a PC screen but instead kick your feet up and let them handle it.
If you go with option 1 and find a guide and unlock your device at home do be sure your not going to get stuck with some kind of fine for breaking a law and be sure to look up guides on how to unbrick and or recover from boot loop; bricks and boot loops happen, knowing how to solve it before it happens makes things so much quicker.
If you go with option 2 be sure to not cancel or suspend your contract or otherwise alter your contract (such as adding international roaming, they tried that one a few times on me, just said "no, thanks though" and moved on) because such things are not needed And if they suggest it then; let them know that you will make contact just before traveling and that "this" call is to ensure that the next rep you talk to has only those steps left to do and that "this" call is to get all the time and technical intensive things out of the way so that you and the next rep are not scrableing to get it done that day. They may suggest all sorts of other solutions, like a pre-paid phone, this is where you loving your phone or needing something on it for business to work comes into play. If one level of supervisor doesn't cut it go higher. And if you're transfered more than twice and had to repeat yourself more than that then on the next transfer ask to be directly connected or to have the person that is trasfering you to stay on the line to help explain why your being trasfered to the new person; this makes it so that you are using duble the resources of the company and most of them know it, so getting you quickly trasfered and the issue explained becomes a priority to the first person you talked to and the second person your about to talk to is being put at ease because someone from their company is explaining things to them before you do (prepping the target) these two forces combined cause you to become viewed as within their circle and leads to them wanting to work with you more rather than just push you down the line. Like I said though don't go lieing to your service provider but know that there are ligit reasons you may have to require your service provider do this.
As with all things you see on the web use at own risk
And happy hacking, whether it be on humans or what they make.

Hi.
What kind of power we can have if we will make petition to Samsung software/developement team to do some updates of Android to our phone?
How many users are here that have this awesome mobile?
I always think is good idea to try than moan...
I e-mailed Yotaphone and asked if they would consider making a qwerty slider....
I think it would be beneficial if we all did the same.
It is not my intention, to find new device.
I am fed up going for new.
Old is good enough many times.
Our mobile is enough for emails, www etc. but the only downside is software.
It's not going to happen. Both the carrier (T-Mobile) and Samsung would need to agree that it's worth spending a lot of money to give this phone an upgrade. Given that both companies want you to buy a new phone every 5 minutes, neither of them want people to be satisfied with their old phone. And speaking of old, this phone is almost 3 years old and has a small user base. There are hundreds of more popular phones released between then and now which haven't seen updates, so no one's going to pay much attention to ours. The only way to get updates is to make them ourselves.
If we don't try - we will never know for sure.
How many registered users are in Relay section, can anybody check?

I'm still using mine, but it's really a secondary phone at this point. Given that the flex cable is this phone's Achilles heel, I don't slide the keyboard out very often, either.
lol. How about a few of you...
a) learn to code and help move the 5.x support forward,
b) donate a phone to a dev, since the two primary developers no longer OWN a relay (and both have mentioned that they would be willing to work on it if somebody donated a phone).

I would love to learn how to code but no one really has time to teach and i know there are plenty of guides but I'm afraid I'll kill my phone. I've already managed to kill my usb port, not from coding attempts, but nonetheless inoperable. As for donating, the relay is my only working t mobile phone so I don't want to give it up. I would, however would pitch in on one. From what I've seen they go for about 100 or so. I would like to be part of the solution in any way I can.
Another Relay user here...
Since this is one of the last good QWERTY phones around, figured it was time to stop just lurking this forum and sign up lol. I'd also be willing to test any new 5.x ROMs built, since I'll have an alternate phone in a couple of days that I can fall back to if I break this one.
I have a phone and I can code, however I need somebody who give me clue or some direction to follow. I've never coded for hardware, only business apps.
This one is not gonna be cheap, but if it runs android it will be amazing:

Do you mean unlock bootloader?
If you can achieve unlock and root of a Mate 30, with possibility to update to most recent firmware afterwards, I will be willing to pay up to 50 USD instantly.
Because of financial problems I've be forced to keep this samsung note 3 I've had to unlock it using chailfire's regional unlock apk I also t pored it using chainfire and Odin on my laptop I put Titanium Backup and of course super user but it's all basic and old and out dated I've been. Told by a few here on XDA and thank you for that but why tell me somethinks is old and leave me hanging ..I am having network issues have some network called Ting I won't say anything bad about them because I don't know if it's their fault I can't get T-mobile on the phone to get the pin to get off their network it's always a 3 hour hold and their call back feature is a joke ..sorry t-mobile anyway what I'm trying to say is I'm a struggling android owner and Lover but I don't have the knowledge to experiment and the resources to take the chance of brick in my only phoneso could someone show me the way I can get my chime account my phone.and I need some serious help with spam and pop ups you see I'm a mess I'm afraid to put anything on my phone now once again someone take my lack of money and things into consideration my family makes fun of my old phone but what they don't know is I'm their life line they all have new phones and they don't understand it's not the tooth fairy that that world of information going it's me and I'm only suffering because my brand new phone hot stolen out of my truck T-mobile wants me to give them $1,400 for a phone that they said I didn't have insurance on come on. So they think I'm paying them $1,400and I'm paying the phone off monthly and I'm still paying monthly but I canceledmy service but I'm still paying the phone so that's it I'm a mess I just need some info on this phone I work for myself I'm struggling but I'm getting by please I know I'm probably out of line and I'm probably miss using this thread but no smart elic comments I'm putting it all out there ladies and gentlemen ok thanks so much ...
the note 3 has forums here still probably visited by people who know all the best options that phone can take advantage of.
it's not actually that clear what you're asking for BTW, but I think older versions of magisk will be more up-to date than superSU. adaway sounds like something you'd benefit from and maybe even Xposed and minminguard to stop ads too. AFWall+ will stop all apps using the internet unless you want them to and save you data. you might enjoy a newer but still dependable rom too. all of this is free except for bandwidth / data.
the old xda advice is still good... read read and read some more. most questions you'll want to ask have likely been asked and answered before.
