it allowed me to - but i don't own a dual sim version so i didn't have a second imei to enter
what i did enter though was the imei sv and it seemed to work, hopefully it has and i will be upgraded onto the testing by the 20th

I did it, I thought 2nd imei line was to confirm the correct details as often found for email addresses so I put mine in twice.

I just put "N/A" in the second IMEI line (not applicable).

Few questions, how early a BETA is this version?
Is it easy to roll back if too buggy?

We don't yet know - it said to expect to hear around November 20th - I presume it will be a fairly recent build.
It should be easy to roll back, although we won't know until they send us the first new build, it should have instructions on recovery etc.

In Portugal Huawei is giving access to Huawei Beta App to current P9 owners, but no available "projects" yet.

Where did you get this? Can you share apk ?

Yep. Attached. I've got it from Huawei Portugal. They are recruiting beta testers

Same with Bulgaria - today they announced test program for EVA-L09 that will start on november 14 and will go until november 28. Registration is open until november 11 and is done by email with model number, IMEI and current build.

Installed the beta testing app, signed in and there was an option to register to the UK beta test - I have requested to join, will see what happens.

Sweet, I also signed up although it chose the German version for me (I am in Germany but have all language as UK).

UK Huawei P9 EMUI 5 / Android N BETA Test (official)

Good news for Huawei P9 owners, we are giving some of you the chance to help us test out EMUI 5 and Android N on your Huawei P9.
Sounds great yeah? Just remember this is going to be pre-release software, things may be broken, you may end up struggling to use your phone, but that's all good we want you to help us find & squash the bugs.
So what do you need to do to get the new stuff on your phone? Well that is easy, you install an app, enroll on the project and then towards the end of the month we will be pushing out the OTA to those that have had their applications approved (First 200).
So what do you need?
- An open market (unlocked) version of Huawei P9 (Eva-L09)
- To be based in the UK.
- To have an active SIM card in your phone.
- To be on build number C432B166 (Latest UK open market firmware)
- It cannot be bootloader unlocked, it cannot have a custom recovery or be rooted to receive the OTA.
You can get the APK for the BETA app & the guidelines for how to install and enrol from here (sorry we can't post links yet.....) "h t t p://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=91768&version=358232&siteCode=uk"
Once downloaded install it on your phone, when you run the app on your phone you will be prompted to either log into an existing Huawei ID account (the one you use to download EMUI themes will do) or to create a new one, once done you can accept the terms
To enroll on the BETA test you will need to be on build number C432B166 (for UK), after your enrollment and approval, an OTA to update UK Huawei P9 from C432B166-> C432B182 will be prompted. Once you are on C432B182, you will get the N version on Beta release.
Numbers are limited, when we hit the limit of enrolled users that is it. This is a project to help find bugs and issues before the general rollout of future updates for the Huawei P9. It is not a general public rollout.

I have it on very good authority they are testing a solution and this should be made public soon (assuming the testing goes ok)

I'm on c432b182 in the UK with an unlocked handset. Registered on previous link. No update over the last week for me.
Downloaded the beta app above and installed but when I try to log in it says failes

I used the B166 update.app but it says B170 in the info

That's what I keep getting

Two full days so far, not one blip, everything has worked perfectly, however I didn't reset, just installed over, once the fix for the beta app is out,, ill do a fresh start and push out harder.

You have a Huawei account right? Beta try to login with your huawei ID..

I cannot use my fingerprint to unlock anymore....everytime I use gesture to lock screen. after using fingerprint to unlock it always asks for password.
Said "Device administrator locked device"
How do I turn this off? Is it kind of security on Android N?
PS. Using Nova Launcher and already tried using most of screen lock apps in the store.

I just saw a post in Reditt that some Pixel 4's have received a Dec play system update, when manually checking. No comment from 2 and 3 owners yet.

Just manually checked for Google play system update and it cannot find a new update. Must be rolling it out in phases for pixel line or does it work like that through project mainline

I Managed to get the Google Play system update November 1st patch.. and I'm still rooted

Strange, I keep checking but mine keeps saying no update available.

Typical, just checked it and has updated to 1st December.

I just checked, and it updated to Nov 30th.

Update rolling out for December play system update. I got it this morning.

Update COL-L29 9.1.0.366 (C432E5R1P13pach01)

Got a new 25mb patch today about "an important system patch"
Saying that it the update "improves system compatibility with certain third-party apps".
Did anyone else get this update? Any noticeable changes? The change log is quite vague. (Not that I'm surprised from Huawei.)

What's in is this update? is it a bugy update like mi a3 is receiving ?

He also gave me a 1.16GB update and I thought it was an Android update, the funny thing is that since March I did not update because I had installed the Root Magisk, but today if I allowed the update and when I finished and restarted, I no longer had the magisk installed, in a few minutes I will reinstall it

so, not wanting to be general, but maybe the 1+GB of update is for people last on the party?, Hope this update fixes the horrid ram management of last update Wich changed all app optimizations making all of them die on background...

It's 1.16gb because you haven t the previous mountly update.
