There's literally a guide section with a thread outlining this exactly...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/official-oxygenos-5-1-5-ota-oneplus-6-t3794232
Of course use the newest available file
Do you mean this section?

Hello Guys!
I am currently using the first official CM12S Rom for 1+1. I cant do OTA. I get the following error.
http://dl-1.va.us.xda-developers.co....png?key=y8IMkjP7Mr7zIQOHMhrK6Q&ts=1431206384
So i currently want to completely wipe my phone (everything in my memory) and start freshly.
Kindly give me a link for a step by step process of doing so.
1. 100% Memory Wipe
2. Installing Custom Recovery
3. Rooting
4. Latest Firmware Installing (Probably YNG1TAS17L is the latest version)
Thank You

Go to my guide thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2839471
Follow the instructions in section 1 to unlock your bootloader, then go to section 8 and follow those instructions and you'll have a full wipe and the latest firmware. Then you can follow sections 2 and 4 to flash TWRP recovery and get root.

Hello to all,
I'm new on this site. I have an old galaxy note 10.1 and I would like to install Marshmallow. I found the various files around the site. Could someone explain to me step by step how to start? I never installed rom or rooted the tablet, so I should start from the beginning. In the guides I found, TWRP Recovery is used. Thank you so much to those who will help me.
Post is confusing .
Fix the tablet for updates ??
4.4.2 is the last update from Samsung .
Do you mean a custom rom ?? ( there are no longer many active )
Post reported to mods for moving to correct Q&A section .
If you have an n8013, this will load android 7.1 which works well. I got some of these leads from xda-developers but didn't keep the references. Be sure to make a backup first!
INITIAL ROOT REQUIRED
Google skyneel "how-to-root-samsung-galaxy-note-10-1-n8013"
and follow the directions to root your tablet
GET TWRP FOR THE 8013
Google twrp.me samsung samsunggalaxynote101
save the instructions for flashing using ODIN, then
download the twrp image for the 8013.
INSTALL THE TWRP RECOVERY .IMG FILE USING ODIN
DOWNLOAD UNOFFICIAL LINEAGE ROM FOR 8013 (Android 7.1, works great)
Google lineage os downloads "download-galaxy-note-10.1-wifi-lineage-os"
Download lineage rom and gapps links from there.
The page also has instructions for flashing....follow them
ENABLE ROOT FOR LINEAGE
How to root
Google "lineageosdownloads" "root-lineage-os"
Go to the lineageosdownloads page you find and follow the instructions to regain root.
Above is ok but OP asking to Fix Tablets for Updates .
Presume they mean updates not custom roms .
Hey, its been a while since I have updated my phone. Its v9.0.6 and I wanted to update it to the latest. I figured id run the command all.bat that will freshly reinstall the stock 9.0.6.
I downloaded the latest stock firmware from the website. After I update, what twrp and other instruction will I need to be able to access root and TWRP again? What Twrp image and I flashing to my phone?
Thanks, Brad
Hello, I do suggest the new update as many bugs has been fixed.
The rooting/twrp procedure is quite easy I suggest you to have a look at the guide
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/oneplus-6-unlock-bootloader-flash-twrp-t3792643
I've been using the "mauronofrio twrp" but I'm sure that the last twrp version on the official website will work properly.
Hey everyone,
Please pardon the nooby question. I am just confused about Android 10 and the new A/B partitions. I am currently running Android 9, fully rooted with TWRP. However, I am experiencing some slowdown and some app issues, I'd like to reset the phone and start over. I figured now would be a good time to upgrade to 10.
What is the status of root on Android 10? Is the procedure that same as previously? I just have a bit of information overload reading all the threads on here, I think it is confusing me further.
To clarify I would just like to run rooted stock Android 10.
Thanks a lot in advance, and pardon my ignorance!
To anyone who may be searching for the same information as me: My phone crashed last night so I flashed from 9 to 10, and rooted. No issues, no change in procedure.
Yes, the process is the same. Use LMSA to flash to the latest Android 10 version. Extract the boot.img of the stock ROM, and put it on the SD card of your device. Install magisk manager. Use the patch boot.img method to get a new, modified boot image. Use fastboot to flash the modified boot img, and you're in business.
More in depth instructions here.
Hi everyone . Couple of weeks ago I received my 12S Ultra, and started with unlocking process. Phone is currently unlocked and I was looking for threads which show the process of updating it to latest EU rom. I've seen this https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-miui-thor-xiaomi-eu-rom-for-xiaomi-12s-ultra.4481389/ thread and wanted to ask if this is up to date? I'd like to install MIUI 14 also if that is possible.
Another list of questions, would updates after flashing be working or would I need to manually update ROM as the releases come, and also are there any significant issues on MIUI 14 or should I go with MIUI 13?
Thanks in advance.
2 versions of rom, Weekly or stable. The weekly is a hybrid rom and for the moment the stable is installed with the TWRP.
Both receive updates via OTA.

Thanks for quick reply, okay so if I understood you correctly after flashing I can just update it directly on the phone when update comes via OTA. For the TWRP installation, so I can't just follow the tutorial and execute the first install script (which formats data) correct?
Just trying to wrap my head around this since I've flash global ROM before but without TWRP. Once more thanks for answering.

Installing TWRP does not require data formatting.
But for the first installation of a Xiaomi EU rom it is advisable to format the data with TWRP or use the first install.bat script depending on the version of the rom.
