I made this ROM, in order to have the best Pixel Experience without any additional/useless features. It is based on the latest Lineage OS and it was built by me. It is working perfectly on my 3T and it should work with the 3 too (unified build)

1b. Download the add-on package (required)
1c. Download the GApps OpenGapps creates many problems)
2. Boot to TWRP
3. Wipe system, data, cache
4. Flash the ROM
5. Boot to the system and finish the setup wizard
6. Boot to TWRP
7. Flash the GApps

9b. In order to have your Phone App fully working, you must set the Google DIaler / Phone as default on the Settings (See here)

Q: Google Play Services force closes a lot
A: No reason to panic. Just follow my guide and everything will work just fine.
1. Connect with your WiFi
2. Go to Settings → Apps and find the Google Play Services.
3. Wipe Data and Cache
4. Go to Permission of the app, and enable everything
5. Add your Google Account
6. Voila
Q: The SimToolKit is missing. I need it
A: Flash this zip and it will be restored. I removed it because it wasnt round (uploading)
Q: Can I flash any other Gapps package?
A: NO. The other packages replaces apps that are vital for the phone and it may lead to a bad experience overall

@t-shock. Hi. Can I expect this to have the same level of pixel smoothness? I really love smooth Roms and I would really like to try this out. It's just that in my experience, Roms that are based on lineage is tend to be not so smooth. I promise am not trolling. Thanks

Well, I will have to disappoint you on that. The rom is smooth and snappy BUT it is by no means as smooth and fast as the Google Pixel. Ofcourse, you can try it and report because your experience may be different

Dirty Flashed the rom on resurrection remix and working very well so far. I just have an issue with the root. I've tried to switch it on and I'd multiple times from Dev options but it doesn't work. Should i flash supersu for root?

Me too, when the setup pass through the "Just a sec.." screen it stops working.
How to workaround??
Solved, I've just remove the setup wizard from /system/priv-app by using twrp's file manager.

I will test it today and report back. Need to test whether VoLTE works or not though.

Because there are lot of fixes in that commit.
That would help us a lot, like VoLTE and other fixes.

I am going to try this with OpenGapps as with the given one I can't able to add google account and more over there is no Google play services at all and I have to manually download from the apkmirror and even after doing that It keeps crashing. Yes. Go to Default apps and set Google dialer as the default one.

For me it works just fine. Try flashing root again, whether it's lineage root or supersu

It is based on purely stock Lineage OS, not with extra commits.
OpenGapps will delete some apps and thus the ROM will have many issues eg no launcher or some apps may miss.
Try flashing the ROM and the Gapps (that I gave) without booting and of course wipe everything again

-BE AWARE-
Flash the given Gapps without booting the system. Let me be more specific. Do not boot the ROM before flashing the given Gapps, otherwise you will have many issues.
Also OpenGapps will delete Pixel Launcher and thus you won't be able to use the ROM

Go to settings - apps - click on gear icon - click on 'Phone app' and select Phone.
This helped in my case.

is it based on android p,AOSP or LOS or MIUI

It works without gapps.
Everything related to google is removed.
Its just pure android.

I Flashed the rom through TWRP. After rebooting it is stuck in the boot animation i waited for 2 hrs still it didnt boot. Pls let me know how to get i to boot.
Please note: I have formatted the internal storage and then flashed the rom.

First of all I would clear all ur doubts:
How to boot?
Flash only latest 22 DEC e-0.2-201812222301-nightly-whyred.zip build
Simply wipe cache,data,system,vendor;
Do a clean flash and have full functional backup because this rom will encrypt your data .
On which platform it is based?
It is a los 15.1 based rom with all google dependencies removed.
What is initial experience with this rom?
Basically it is very initial build of Eelo project which was developed by a dev and his team who wanted to get free from all google stuff in his Rom .You can search on web about this project.
It has its slightly modified UI with its own set of apps like
bliss launcher(IPhone style launcher with bugs such as no settings panel and Can't remove app from home screen)
In place of maps it has magic earth app.
In replacement to playstore you get nothing(you can install Apk pure market to get apps)
Telegram and open camera pre installed.
Messaging app is different.
For launcher I use Lawnchair.
Its own keyboard.
Rest All is looking like los.
What you should not do.
Do not flash any open gapps to get google apps I think it might crash things resulting in bad mess.
For some google stuff it already have MicroG support.
As this rom is Oreo based u will miss pie rom features if u are earlier on pie based rom.
I think if it change its base on pie and have properly working launcher it will be more appealing.
But anyways it is very initial build and that too for whyred so keeping expectations low.

Camera app stability on custom ROM's

After testing a few ROM's on this forum I find that there is always an issue with the camera app.
Right now I'd like to stick with the PixelExperience or OmniTreskmod ROM, but the OOS camera crashes when I try to use slow-motion, and the GCAM apk also crashes frequently. (I've tried the latest December version and also an older version)
Are these features not available for custom ROM's? Should I just modify stock OOS with magisk modules to make it look/feel like a Pixel?
Edit: Does the OOS camera needs the OnePlus gallery to function correctly?

I have no issue with the latest gcam or included oos cam in AOSP extended

GCam works well, you just have to load a good XML

So does your slowmotion video work? TreskMod had an oxygenOSCam.zip file, maybe it's just out of date. I'll search the forum for a different OOScam

I've moved to the OnePlus7Pro and it has the exact same issue. From what I've seen you cannot use a custom ROM on a OnePlus device and have a fully functional OOS camera app. This is sadly why I'm moving away from using custom ROMs.

thats too sad, cause getting a new version phone is caused mostly you wanna have a great camera too, isnt?
otherwise, why to buy a such a expensive phone when the quality of the pictures is like some years ago??

Thinking about going crDroid or EvoX for a custom on my Poco.

Miui camera: porting is difficult and when possible some features are missing.

It all depends on the model of the device but in general with GCAM everything works and you have several editable XML profiles.

You can try to install directly the latest MIUI Camera APK ported from latest MIUI. I remember that I found it last summer simply searching on google MIUI Camera APK. It worked on my old Arrow OS 12.1 rom some months ago, except for 64 MPixel mode that crashed the app.

Thanks for the tips and information, I'll definitely try gcam and the ported APK. Now to find which custom, so many to choose from.. so far settled on crDroid A13 but that could change. Thanks again.

I've found it searching 'MIUI Camera APK' or 'MIUI Camera APK Porting' using Google. But I don't know if latest APKs work on A13, I tested it time ago using custom rom A12.1 based... I remember that only 64 MPixel mode crashed the app, video and photo worked

I have experienced a few glitches with Xiaomi.EU ROm, so I would like to give a chance to some custom ROM.
But, I would like to use camera at full 108 MP pics and store then to SD card, which Pixel camera app doesn't do.
So, is there a ROM that has bulit in camera app with that possibilities, or is there a Xiami camera ap from 13.0.7.0 ROM that can be flashed into one ROM and used as default camera app?
Which one to use? PixelOS, Pixel Experience, Project Elixir, Evolution X, Lineage OS ?!?!?!?

Obviously any rom shipped with Lineage os Aperture does not take 108 MP photos. Latest Elixir and CrDroid have miui cam in them ( only the latest). I tried crdroid 9.4 and the camera works fine except for slowmotion.
